Condition: Used Location: Denver, United States This is a very unusual hall tree. I have never seen one quite like it. There are flat grooved columns on each side with hooks at top, they are connected ... moreto back with a shelf. Applied carving adorns the crest with hook on each side. Instead of the typical lift up lid there is a large drawer at the bottom w. brass handle pull. on the left side behind column is an umbrella holder with original drip pan. The shaped beveled mirror is original, hence there are a few spots and streaks, but doesn't detract from the looks. Total width, including umbrella holder, is 39" depth is 18" height is 80-1/2" We have not refinished this hall tree, the finish appears to be original and is quite good, the piece is structurally strong as well. This hall tree has a diamond shaped mirror with a beveled edge and 3 hat hooks at the top of the back piece. Below the mirror is a very nice medallion attached to the back piece of the tree. Below the medallion is a brass looking swing arm candle holder. It is very ornate and holds a taper style candle. There is a scratch in the wood on the back piece just to the left of the candle holder. Just ... morebelow the candle holder on each side of the back piece are 2 more small hooks. The seat is hinged and lifts up for storage. The seat. Seat rail and legs are worn looking and do have some burn marks and stains on them. This piece is antique and will not be perfect. I do not know the maker or exact age of the piece. It measures 75 inches tall, 24 inches side to side and 15 ½ inches front to back. It weighs 45 pounds. This is an Antique Hall Tree Umbrella Stand with beveled Mirror and Brass Fixtures. It is a gorgeous piece and in great vintage condition just in need of a good cleaning and polishing of the wood to bring back its luster. It has(4) Brass fixtures for the hats or coats and also railings for the umbrellas. One of the hat fixture is missing one of screws. It has a beautiful beveled mirror outlined by a detailed frame.The mirror itself has no cracks but it reflection is not as cleared as it should be.Please see all pictures. more pictures below description* EXPANDING COAT RACK/ HALL TREE This was bought at an estate auction of the owner of a funeral home. The owner also collected Odd Fellow Lodge items. It appears to be very old but I'm not sure when it was made and there are no makers marks or labels. I have only found one hall tree anywhere like this on the internet. It was made by Clipper Shaft Co but it is different than this one, especially the inside parts. This has dark stained wood. But not sure exactly what wood. Cast Brass hooks and metal workings inside. Wear and patina on the wood surfaces including some white spots on the base feet. It's not in bad shape but would be more beautiful refurbished. It is missing a finial on the top. You have two hooks that you undo and press down on the piece of flat metal holding the bases together. Leans a little, so maybe the spring metal piece had more to it than what's there now-but it works. Now you have a coat rack for all your guests! have an antique. Solid oak hall/door tree in excellent condition. It's approximately 6'6" in height and 36" in width. The top and sides feature fairly intricate carvings with a large, oval beveled mirror featured in the center. There is a small drawer topped by a piece of white marble to use as a mail drop off.
