This hall tree was refinished by the previous owner, and they did a really nice job. They strengthened the back of the mirror with support sticks as shown in the photos, too. It is tight and sturdy, scroll front legs, lift top seat, applied carving on the base and shapely mirror top. The overall size is 36 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 29 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 17 inches deep, 18 inches high to the seat, 28 inches high to the arms and the overall height is 84 inches. It has carving that adorns the lift top seat. The seat opens to reveal a storage space for your mittens, gloves or hats. It has the original arms. The only I can see wrong with it is that the bottom is missing plywood and we will replace it prior to shipping. The finish is nice for the age showing minor wear and dings.

Fantastic Antique Victorian Tiger Oak Wall Hat Rack Mirror
This is a beautiful Victorian hat rack with a mirror and three hooks with two large and two small hangers each. It is in excellent condition and looks like it may have been refinished at some point. The wood has a beautiful dark grain and a slightly glossy luster. The mirror looks very good with just a few tiny black age spots on it that are barely noticeable. The hooks are strong and solid and attached by screws. And there is a hanger on the top for wall hanging. The dimensions from corner to corner are 27" across the middle x 27" high. The bookrest still has the original black covering. The pulpit is made of solid oak and is quite heavy. Made of beautiful sturdy tiger oak. Measures 75 inches tall, 26 inches across the widest part of the mirror. The mirror itself is 19 1/2 inches in diameter. The bench is 18 inches tall and 25 1/2 inches across. The bench raises up to reveal a storage area. Mirror is beveled, has a few dark spots behind it(shown in photos) Of course, no antique is perfect, that's what gives it character! But this piece is in excellent condition overall. Antique Tiger Oak Hall Tree Beveled Mirror Early 1900s Original Hooks Large
Presenting an antique tiger oak hall tree with beveled mirror and original cast iron double hooks. Beautiful curves and details. It is large standing 84" tall. 33" wide, and 16" deep. The coat hooks have a vine design and the mirror is marked on back"1909" Overall condition is good. The mirror has several spots of wear. There is one damaged place on right bottom edge(photo#8) And the bench is missing. I like to fill the"seat" with potted seasonal flowers. This special antique stood in my family's front hall for decades. It was appraised at $1000 before the small area of damage. It's a wonderful estate piece. Please email any questions you may have. You’ll be hard-pressed to find another one in as original condition as this one is. All I can find on it is one very old darkened chip on the one of the bottom supports and the screws on the bottom supports could use a little tightening if you deemed it necessary. I didn’t do it because I didn’t want to scrape the old varnish from around the screw heads. Other than ... morethat it has the normal dings and scratches. Although I can’t be sure it was probably re-varnished years ago. The cast iron hooks are original as are the slotted screws that attach them. It has no repairs and all the other slotted screws are also original ones used when it was made. It’s about 63” tall. You can use the BIN and pay for it when you pick it up and you have inspected it as long as you pick it up and pay for it within 10 days. Pickup area is in the outskirts of Reading Pa 19608. Please take a look at the many other antique hardware items I have listed. My pictures are large because I not only want to tell you what you’re getting but also for you to see what you’re getting.
