Beautiful Victorian Dresser- all wood. This was purchased at Hawkin's Antiques many years ago while they were still in Fort Lauderdale. Anyone familiar with this man's store is aware he carried very fine quality antiques. He still does- but now he is located in West Palm Beach. Piece must go as we have too many pieces now. Mirror has minor loss to silvering- there is a repair to one of the wood drawers that is not visible from exterior. Has keyholes for skeleton key but we do not have a key to lock it. Nice relief details on the dresser and the mirror. Dresser can be with or without mirror on it as it unscrews. This piece is on wheels and is very light and easy to move when drawers and mirror are removed which is a nice feature. Knobs are replacement and are very nice designer knobs that look like interlacing knot work. over 3 feet ... morewide and 20" from front to back- height is dependent upon use of mirror- dresser is about 3 ft tall mirror adds another 2.5 to 3 feet. DRESSER MIRROR from Annesdale Estate Memphis ANTIQUE Possibly Rosewood
This is a free standing dresser mirror. It is a true antique not a reproduction. Alot of hand carving and skill was needed to make this piece. It would be very fitting for an antique dresser from the period. Also great for a period movie set or photo shoot. I purchased it from the Annesdale estate in Memphis. The estate is still family owned but the younger generation needed funds so held an estate sale to offer some of the original home's furnishings to the public. The furnishings in the house were fabulous. Everything was in the thousands of dollars. So I couldn't purchase very much. They were a very wealthy family. I have included a photo of the estate taken at 6:30AM when I arrived at the sale. On the back is a piece of very old masking tape with the name Snowden on it. That is the last name of the owners of the estate. There ... moreis also a subdivision named Snowden for the family. I think they also developed the land where the subdivision is. I do not know the woods it is made of. Some parts look like Rosewood to me but it is evident that several woods primary and secondary were used. In the photos you can see the light and dark woods. Size: 35-1/4" High 32-1/4" Wide 10" Deep Two drawers for combs, gloves, etc. Brass knobs tighten or loosen the mirror so it can be tilted. Condition: It is antique so not perfect. There are age issues. There are some scratches to the finish. Some fading of the dark finish in places. There are joined seams that want to separate. There are two small cracks to the wood on the top decorative piece but not major to its integrity. The mirror has significant aging to the silver backing. This is a sign that it is truly old and has been in an un-airconditioned attic with humidity for years. There is a split in the wood of the backing board on the reverse but does not effect the strength. I have shown photos of these issues, but if you would like more, please write to me. I am selling it for less than I paid at the estate sale since I no longer have the dresser bottom.

It measures 9 3/4" tall, 5" deep and 11" wide, with the top of the dresser extending out and measuring 12" wide, and 5 3/4" deep. for sale a very wonderful antique john jelliff deep well dresser. constructed of the finest walnut lumber of the day with great burl accents just in the right places. it was made circa 1870. it is all original except the mirror. i have owned it for years and the old mirror never bothered me. But is was very smokey and had lost a good bit of silver backing, so i did replace it before i listed it. the mirror is just like the one that was in it, heavy 1/4 inch plate glass heavy mirror. it features very nice candles stands, great crest and swirls of carving at the edges of the formed top crest. it has all the original tear drop pulls, some of which have lost a bit of paint over the years from use. the drawer joints are hand cut dovetails. it is in near mint original condition. it has a secret drawer at the bottom, then two large drawers all the ... moreway across and two top drawers, one for top of each outer portion. the drawers slide like butter, work perfectly. the marble is all original to the piece and is in perfect condition and is very fine carrara marble. it is a wonderful and beautiful piece of furniture. i expect at a high end antique shop it would have a price tag of at least 5K on it. i am starting it at what i paid for it a long time ago. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. good luck btw. Beautiful old dresser with attached tilt mirror. Three drawers that all work great and have what I believe to be the original hardware. The mirror does have an additional decorative piece. Shown laying on top of the dresser in photo. It attaches easily but I did not want to attach until it was in its new home! Two pieces with mirror attached firmly with brackets on backside. Two small drawers on top with beautiful old marble slab in the center area. Measures 39" by 17" and is 40" high at its highest point. This would be the measurement to the top of the two small drawers. Very clean throughout with only a few marks from use and age. Just a beautiful old 1800's piece! Any questions just ask!

my dad had this dresser for over 50 years and I'm pretty sure he didn't buy it new. I have no knowledge of this item my dad recently passed away so I am forced to sell. It stands 42 inches tall x 39" wide x18"deep. All drawers are intact in great condition and open and close with ease. There is a chunk missing out of what seems to be the back panel as shown in one of the pictures but I do have the piece of wood that came off of it for possibly an easy fix. I estimate this dresser being fRom somewhere in the late 1800's. Each drawer was constructed with hand cut dovetails, a sign of age and craftsmanship. Tall bracket feet finish the piece off nicely at the bottom. You will notice that the top and bottom mouldings appear to have been done in sections. We believe this was intentional and it does not appear like repairs. The wood has developed crackling over the drawer fronts and top surface. This gives the chest a distressed look and provides character and charm to an already lovely dresser! Other minor dings and marks can be found here and there as you would expect from something of this age. Overall this burled walnut chest of drawers is in very good condition. Beautiful Antique Victorian Drop Center Dresser measures 89 inches tall(7 feet 5 inches) 46 inches wide and 18.5 inches deep. Floor to center marble top is 24" Floor to side marble top is 30" Shows normal wear for a piece that is over 100 years old. Missing left side thin wood trim about 2/3 way up(see picture) Center marble piece appears to be a replacement. Marble pieces and mirror remove for shipping. A very adorable antique. Circa 1840's- 1850's, folk art child's dresser with mirror. The case is of walnut, the drawer front and sides with rosewood veneers. There is geometric parquetry bandings in maple, cherry, and mahogany. The dovetailed drawers have the original porcelain knobs, the interiors with period wallpaper liners. The mirror frame and harp are leaf carved walnut, the mirror original. The feet are carved as leaf scrolls. It measures 37" tall by 17-1/2" wide 13-1/2' deep. Very good condition: original finish with minor flaking. Some losses to marquetry or rosewood veneer(see photos. Two top boards with warping, minor scuffing to feet or base molding. I wish I knew more about this dresser but I don't. I bought it at an estate sale& it really is in excellent condition. It has 4 drawers total. 2 top& bottom& then 2 smaller ones along the the top. The drawers move smooth& the mirror& marble are in excellent condition. The marble is a redish brown color. The top is all carved wood. Empire Dresser, mahogany, mirror veneer, ca. 1830, Antique, good condition
An Empire Bureau. Or chest of drawers made of mahogany in the early half of the 19th century. This is a grand piece of furniture that would look great in any large space-hallway, large master bedroom, dining room. We had it in our hallway in a 1803 house in upstate New York. There are four large drawers and three small drawers at the top. The largest drawer is directly below the three small top drawers, consistent with the style. Drawer fronts are a mirror veneer, rest of the wood is solid. The drawer pulls are brass. This is a solid, well-built dresser. It is heavy. It stands about 52 inches high, is about 47 inches wide and about 21 inches deep. The drawers are about 16 inches deep. The finish is in relatively good condition; there are scrapes, scuffs, nicks and scratches but it would not necessarily need any work. There is a crack in the ... morewood on one of the sides(visible in photo) The drawer slides could use some repair work, but the drawers function. I believe that the dresser is from the early half of the 19th century because the nails used on the back boards are type I cut(photographed) The back boards are soft wood with a rich brown patina on the back, the part exposed to air. I bought this from an old timer here in Hatfield and it was his mother's. That makes me the second owner. It dates to 1888-99 based on the scallop. And pin joinery shown in the drawers. It is all original. All drawers work well. One of the drawers has a square of yellow paint on the inside front. Also. There is one solid brass drawer pull that does not match all the others. I found. A semi match in a salvage shop in Aurora. Oregon. I currently have this piece in my living room and it looks gorgeous. Way to nice. The back of the dresser shows it belonged to Henry Wims(Williams) An ex-slave according to the News-Palladium from Benton Harbor Michigan(Saturday, April 1, 1950(pg.9) Henry came up to Benton Harbor from Kentucky through Indiana in 1882. When he was a young man, about 20 years of age. He had been to Louisville where the cars stopped and where there was a great concentration of Union soldiers during the Civil war and decided to follow the railroad north and see where the tracks joined the"Underground railway" that he had heard so much about. Also, his wife's father lived at St. Joseph, where there were many ex-slaves and their descendants. His travels brought him to Benton Harbor. The solid walnut dresser ... morehas hand-carved walnut and leaf pulls. Hand-dovetailed drawers and square nails show expert craftsmanship. Finish is excellent with warm antique patina.
