Lot of 6 Antique Wooden Shoe Lasts Cobbler's Molds, 2 from Buffalo Last Works NY
Here is a lot of 6 old wooden shoe forms or shoe lasts. Each one is a different size. Two have partial marks from the Buffalo Last Works. Utica NY. The longest of the six is about 10 inches long, and the shortest is about 7 1/4 inches. A cobbler has used these molds to make or repair shoes. So they have nail or tack holes on the bottom. They have a great look and would make nice display pieces. These are all hard wood, probably maple.

Vintage Wooden shoe forms- 1) high-heeled marked Vullan Nov 1841. 9B. It measures approx 11" long and has metal areas on the bottom similar to tap shoes. The heel lift on back looks like a wooden thread spool creating a 1.25" lift. Beautiful, used condition! 2) baby shoe marked Kempton Apr 1962. 3D 40- there is a split in the wood going up the heel area. It measures 5" long. Nail marks on the bottom shows cobbler use. Vintage Edwardian Wooden Pin Cushion Clog or Shoe For sale is a wonderful and rare pin cushion in the shape of a cog or wooden shoe. It is made out of wood and is attached to a wooden plate. The cushion is hand-made. In front of the cushion there is a space for a thimble. On the clog there is an image. In relief, of a woman in front of a windmill. On the plate, under the tip of the clog, one can read Belgium. The mounting plate measures about 20x10cm and the pin cushion clog measures about 17.5cm in length, 7cm in width and 7cm in height. Here is a lot of 4 old wooden shoe forms or shoe lasts. There is one pair of size 8B. One 4 1/2 B and one 4 1/2 E. The pointed pair is marked TW Gardiner Br USMC 2-61. The 4 1/2 E is marked TW Gardiner Br USM 12-63. The longest of the 4 is about 10 5/8 inches long, and the shortest is about 9 7/8 inches. A cobbler has used these molds to make or repair shoes, so they have nail or tack holes on the bottom. They have a great look and would make nice display pieces. These are all hard wood, probably maple.

I am offering for bid this wonderful Antique Wooden Advertising Box( see photo) It is an old General Store Display/ Storage Box for Jacquot& Co. Blacking. I assume this would be a Shoe Shine product. The Box front label says: 3 DOZ. NO 3 and in the round picture it has the address: Paris- New York. The front Label is paper& does have areas of damage as you can see. The Box has great" Dovetailing" on the corners and is in really good condition for the age with the usual wear but someone did put a nail in the front edge rim. It measures approx. 8 1/2 in. x 8 1/2 in. x 4 1/2 in. and the Lid is attached. Inside& outside is clean& odor free. When you open the Lid you find the nearly perfect Paper Label covering the entire inside of the Lid. There is some paper missing in a couple of places and a stain on one side- but ... moremost is still intact. Notice the Monkey? sees his reflection on the Black Boot. Description Terrific old pair of shoe last molds. This one is a child's size 9 1/2 E. They measure about 7" end to end and 2 3/4" or so across at the widest point. These do have an old"leather shoe repair store" smell to them. While it's definitely not unpleasant. And most people like that smell, if you're sensitive you might want to let them air out a bit.
