Set of (4) LARGE Antique Vintage Cast Iron Industrial Casters Wheels table cart
Up for auction is an awesome set of(4) very large 19th century fixed antique cast iron casters. These are extremely heavy duty and weigh just under 11lbs each! The wheels measure approx. 5 3/4" and stand approx. 8" tall overall. The base measures approx. 5" x 4 3/4" with drilled mounting holes that measure 3 5/8" and 4" center to center. The wheels move freely and are covered in surface rust. I have left them exactly as found not knowing if someone wants the aged patina. They need a good cleaning and grease. The only defect I can find is a small chip in one of the wheels.see the photo) I'm not sure if it's an old chip or defect in the casting. Two of the wheels appear as though the holes weren't drilled through after the casting. The wheels are the largest I've seen and with a weight of almost ... more11 lbs. each. Vintage Industrial Factory Cart Coffee Table
This is a beautiful example of the industrial carts made in the first decade or two of the twentieth century. I have added a salvaged wood top in my professional woodworking shop. Where it was in use for decades. It almost certainly dates to the construction of the industrial complex my shop is in, built in the teens. All the running gear are in good order. This table base measures 24 x 56 inches and has a solid cast iron base, made by Morse Manufacturing of Rochester,N.Y. The drafting table base(no top) is adjustable in height& angle and is in very good original condition. The base is solid/sturdy and has no cracks/breaks with a vintage patina. VINTAGE CAST IRON ARTICULATING TABLE BASE, STEAMPUNK, INDUSTRIAL, DRAFTING, LEGS
Here is a great. Ornate, cast iron articulating table base from a 19th century doctor or dentist chair. It will be the perfect base for that industrial table when you add the top of your choice. It has the"stomp lever" which is all mechanical(no hydraulics) the larger foot lever jacks it up with a ratchet and has about 6" of vertical travel. The smaller lever lets it down. The top tilts in two directions(and locks in place) so it would be a great drawing or drafting table. The top rotates so it would be the most awesome chess table ever. You can do a lot with this and make it into any size table you want. If you take the top piece off(photo 5) it is the perfect coffee table height. With the top and armrests on, it starts at dining table height and raises to counter or bar chair height. The top shown is not included- it is not ... morequite right for this piece. But does help demonstrate what a great table this would make. I sell a lot of this type of stuff and this will probably be the best one I ever have. This has been completely disassembled. Professionally sandblasted, professionally painted, and professionally pinstriped and professionally HAND LETTERED with the original markings- just look at the paint job- top notch. This is one great piece. This is beautifully rendered in figural cast iron and is seriously heavy duty. It will ship via UPS and disassembled into 2 boxes. The shipping calculator shows what you will pay. Their are only two comments- there is one tiny ding(last photo) in the leg on the side opposite of the lettering and the operation levers. Otherwise. This is restored MINT. And, when you want to lower the elevation, you push the smaller lever and then press down on the table. It had a heavy chair on it so it won't drop on its own, but just push the lever with your foot and then some modest hand pressure will lower the elevation. Vintage Industrial Articulating Arm Work Light Wall Sconce Table Lamp
For your consideration is this cool vintage articulating arm light. This old light was used as a work light and can be mounted with screws either onto a table or on the wall as a sconce. This light is made of steel. So it has great old patina, it had a some surface rus, so it was brushed. The light has a clear coat to enhance and protect it. The GE socket is original to the light, but has been rewired with reproduction tan twisted cloth cord, with original bakelite plug. The cord is long enough to plug in either as a lamp or a sconce. The lower articlating arm is 12" long and the arm closest to the socket is 16"long. Both of the adjustment mechanisms move well and hold securely in any position. vintage industrial factory metal desk workbench table mercantile wood top
You are considering a vintage industrial metal desk with two drawers. The metal portion of the desk was salvaged out of an old factory by a friend. I cleaned it up. And then added a 3-board, rough cut lumber top. I lightly sanded the boards so there are both smooth and rough places on the wood. I whipped up my own version of gray stain trying to match the desk color. It was close, but regardless it works. Wherever the boards were rough, that area took the stain better than the smooth areas which gave me the look I was after. I have misplaced one of the rollers for the small drawer so it is working very rough. The big drawer works fine. As with any old piece you can expect scratches, dings, dents. chipped paint, knot holes, imperfections and surface rust. Please refer to the pictures. For sale is an awesome adjustable table most likely from the 30's or 40's. A very nice patinated former hospital bedside table that raises up and down from 31" to 48" It measures 16" deep x 52' wide. It has a vanity mirror that flips up with a storage tray and a bookstand that can be positioned at an angle. There is normal wear to a piece of this age. The finish on top is worn but still has nice color with some bruising to the left side. It was supplied by the Abbey Richmond Inc. Hospital Equipment and Supplies and still retains its original tag. The table is raised by turning the handles and they then lock into the hooks. On the front are two cracks under the top shown in the pictures, it does not effect the strength of the table. This 1920s ISIS German industrial cast iron drafting table is all complete and in great condition. It features the original pencil tray. Drafting arm, 5” locking casers, C clamps for holding down an art board with a smooth surface. The counter weights are perfectly balanced for ease of motion when raising, lowering, or tilting the top. The top can be angled horizontally flat, vertically straight, and everything in between. It also features a foot peddle for locking-in the correct height of the table and a hand knob for locking-in the correct angle. Although these tables are typically heavy and difficult to move, the wheels make ease of movement simple and quick. The locking feature on the wheels keeps the table in place for steady drafting, painting or drawing. This aluminium desk lamp is an original 1970's Australian made industrial light in a similar design to the Planet lamps though adjustment is through wing nut type adjustable joints. Produced by THEW& McCANN PTY. LTD. UNIBEAM" Cat. No. 50. 240V. 60 watt ac. only Approval No. N126. The cast iron base has 2 holes on to which the base is bolted to the desk work bench table top or wall. The base is adjustable in four different axes. The centre joint that joins the 2 hollow aluminum tubes is adjustable in 3 axes with the aluminium& plastic coated brass nut, the head is adjustable through 2 axis with the turn of a steel wing nut. At the head of the lamp is the white on off switch. The lamp does have some signs of corrosion with rust on the wing nut suppose this could be swapped or replaced as could the centre bolt which has surface ... morerust on the head of the bolt only, the cast iron base is painted black though also has some very light surface rust. The aluminium light globe shield shade is original matt black with spots of oxide here and there, the inside is bright white enamel. This light was removed from an old jewelry store in a town near me. It is very old and the lamps are very rare to find in any condition. This one is in great condition. The only places are on the wood neck in the back of the lamp. It has other minor shows of wear but they are the worst. These were often sat on the counters to shine light directly down so the customer could see the rings clearly. It stands 19" tall and the base is 9" x 5" It weighs 9lbs.
