Antique Cast Iron& Wood 14 Fishing Pole Hardware Store Display Stand Rack Up for sale is this Antique Cast Iron& Wood 14 Fishing Pole Hardware Store Display Stand or rack. This was purchased at the estate sale of a 103 year old woman whose family had owned a hardware store since the late 1800s. This was used in their store. The black metal parts have a heavy black japanned finish. I don't know what type of wood was used to make this but the curved wood part on top has a bird's eye grain. The wood part on top has a groove for the rubber ring with 14 pairs of loops for the fishing pole tops. There are 14 corresponding round recessed spots in the bottom piece of wood for the base of the fishing rods. Unusual must have display rack for the antique fishing rod and reel collector! Condition: It is all original and is in very good ... morecondition with all original parts intact. No cracks or chips in the metal and most of the original japanning is intact.some rubs and oxidation from use but they are pretty minor. Measurements: 33" tall overall. The bottom measures 11" in diameter and the top measures about 6 3/4" in diameter. The rack is easily unscrewed from the heavy cast iron base so I might ship the base separately if it will reduce shipping costs. Markings: None I have many other great items up for auction. I'm not sure how old this beaker is. It stands just a bit over 4" tall and is 3" in diameter at the top. It has numbers that appear to be hand etched or engraved on it. It's in really nice shape with no nicks or cracks.

Antique Vtg Exact Weight Counter Candy SCALE Historic McCrory's 5& 10 Store PA We obtained this item from an estate auction located in PA. Antique Exact Weight Scale. Not only is this a super cool antique but this scale was used in the famous McCrory's Five& Dime Store in York County. PA. There is a lot of info on google about McCrory's Five& Dime History! Just think how many little kids had their candy weighted on this scale. Just think of their excitement as they watched and waited for the clerk to weigh the candy and give it back to them! Unfortunately the scale has seen better days! It appears to be in fine working order but it really could use a good cleaning. We are not going to attempt to do anything to this scale, we'll leave that all up to the buyer. We do not want to take a chance on damaging any part ... moreof this lovely antique! The scale is so old that the labels are all worn or have rubbed off, over time. There is one large label that was on the main arm of the scale and the only text we can make out is"York County, PA" There is no info on the manufacturer of the scale. The only thing we can see is where you read the weight, EXACT WEIGHT printed across the top. We did some research on the Exact Weight company and seen other scales that are almost identical. We are 99% certain this scale was made by Exact Weight but please realize that there is a chance we could be incorrect. We are not scale collector's or experts. We are doing out best to describe this piece but please ask any questions and view photo's for the best and most accurate description. The scale is missing two of the weights. The two missing are the two smallest out of the five. On the bottom of the scale there is the number 1001. We do not know if this helps with researching this scale. Antique Vtg 19" Brass Grain Pan Weighing Scoop Measuring Tray Scale Store
This old brass weighing pan came from an auction in Vermont. I am unsure of it's age. The pan measures 19" long. 12.5" wide and approximately 5" tall. It weighs 1.23 pounds. It has quite a few dents, maybe some could be pushed out. I washed the pan with warm soapy water and the marks inside did not come out.

Welcome shopper found this at a antique sale. This is a wonderful mercantile sewing machine supply box. The back says"sewing machine supplies" for all machines. Needles, oil, attachments, shuttles, bobbins, repairs. The box is 22"wide, 11" and 9" long. I have photos of some of the supplies, the top drawer has all kind of needles in the package some never opened it has the cardboard cover inserts according to size of needles, and flat shank needles, plus what machine goes to what needles. The second drawer has many interesting pieces, sewing cabinet keys, bobbins, metal spools, rubber o rings, packaged items even a Westinghouse sewing machine lightbulb in package, some wood needle holders some empty some have needles. Antique GEM No 5 Cast Iron Candy General Store BALANCE SCALE W/5 Brass Weights
You are bidding on a vintage Antique CAST IRON SCALE. In used condition. Solid& sturdy in good shape. The brass pan/scoop has three small cracks on the edges, I tried to show the largest one in a picture. From a doctors estate it was on display in his office& looks like it was refinished at one time. One end has a brass scoop& the other end has a flat cast iron pan. The Scale is heavy& measures approx 12 3/8" long x 3 3/4" wide x 9" tall. The base reads: GEM No 5. There are 5 different size Brass weights that fit into holes on the base that are marked on the top: 1/4- 1/2- 1- 2- 4. The numbers stand for ounces. The original finish has ages to perfection with wear in all right places that enhances instead of detracts from the overall appearance. The metal is sound and the various joints are held in place with brass screws and nuts. A few of the original screws are missing which doesn’t affect the stability but you may want to add them to complete the shelf. This stands 59” from the base of the slightly flared legs to the top of the curved side supports; the distance from the face of the shelf to the back support is 13.25” and the surface space of the shelf is 9.25” deep and 22.5” across. Beautiful Rustic Piece from a small town Indiana country store. This piece was put in the store when it was opened in 1931 but no one is sure if i's older or was made for the store. I would think it's older because of how scarce Chestnut was at that time. For anyone that doesn't know American Chestnut is considered extinct. They were killed in the first quarter of the cenury by an oriental blight that it had no resistance to. When they say extinct for a plant. There are still a few Chestnut trees but in such small quantities. This glass door cabinet is:15 1/2" wide X 13 1/2" deep X 65" tall. For you consideration is this wonderful old cast iron mirror. I`m not sure if it`s a victorian dresser mirror or a display mirror for a ladies store. Either way it is stunning. This measures 26 3/4" tall. By 13 3/4" across the back. It does tilt and the mirror slides out of the base. The old gold painted finish has turned dark and but the lower right hand side is slightly copper colored. Maybe an old paint touch up. This very ornate mirror is definately from the turn of the century and is heavy cast iron. The mirror does look to have been replaced and you can see the lower edge between the leaves. Up for sale is this very old. Antique Corticelli store display mirror. It has a hand-painted gold and black logo that definitely contributes to the age and attraction of this piece. The mirror is flaking in many spots which you can see in the close ups. I purchased this primitive item at an estate sale a few weeks ago. This was one of the neatest items in the entire sale I think. Corticelli sewing items are hot right now and knew this might go over well on here so I might be taking a chance but I wanted to offer it on here first. Antique Hardware General Store Wood Octagon REVOLVING 72 DRAWER NUT BOLT CABINET
This is an antique revolving nut and bolt cabinet. It is octagon, with 72 pie shaped drawers, all with the original porcelain knobs. It is 33" tall, 22.5" across the top. The cabinet is ALL original, no touch ups on the stenciling, etc. Someone added castors to the base, which makes moving it nice. They can be easily removed. You don't see these very often, especially in this condition. This will have to be picked up, I cannot ship it. I am near ERIE PA, apprx 2 hours from Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo. Powered by
