This is a medium. Vintage fishing creel with a canvas strap and decorative leather. It is 13" across the front, 11" by 5 1/2" across the lid and 8" tall in the back. The condition is very good for the bottom, there is broken weave on the top and the leather hinge is worn. The front catch was also changed and is not all original. But it is a Single Ended 7591/12AX7 amp, with solid state rectifiers. It has a Jensen 12" driver in good condition. I powered it up on a variac to be safe. It powered up with no issues. I ran a Mic and audio signals through all inputs. It plays clean, clear and strong with no hum. Appearance and condition are very good considering it's age. It does show signs of use. Including wear& tears in the Tolex. It is structurally sound, so a full re-furb would be simple. Although it appears to be 100% healthy. It is being sold AS-IS. Up for sale is a set of GT Elite aka Strongman. Bigman or Heman 9/16 sized Pedals. Quite a rare find and one of the most sought after and expensive pedals of its time(1990's era) and still holds a premium value to the true enthusiast. Cosmetically they are in decent used condition. It has the typical scratches on the cages and some light scratches on the pedal bodies. On one of the pedals, the screw that holds the spindle has been replaced because the original screw threads got worn down(still holds together fine) Functionality, one of the pedals spins well and the other(with replaced screw) has a dead spot or when turning over there is some resistance. d2. OLD EUROPEAN-MADE VIOLA WITH STRONG CASE. LOVELY RICH SOUND.
This viola is unlabelled. However it looks to have been made in Eastern Europe. Probably Romania or Czechoslovakia, and probably during the 1960s. Although not new the viola is in very good condition and is ready to play without further adjustment. It has a back length of just over 15 inches so it is a fullsize instrument, but not as large as some violas. The instrument is neatly carved. It has a very good set of ebony pegs. All adjusting well. The fingerboard is also good hard, smooth black, ebony. I have fitted a new set of Dominant strings which retail at more than £40. These enable the viola to produce a lovely rich throaty sound. Really nice. The bridge is the old one which came with the viola. The tailpiece has two fine tuners. Two extra ones could be fitted but the pegs adjust very well so there is no need to do this. It is a ... morelovely large wooden chinrest. I get the impression that this viola has been recently professionally set up. The front of the viola is made from spruce with little obvious grain marking. The back and ribs are from gently flamed maple. The purfling is inlaid and the edges are well-defined. The condition is good. There are no cracks or other damage apart from some small surface blemishes. Very presentable. I was impressed with the dark and rich sound which this instrument creates. It would be suitable for any standard of player. The case is strong. Substantial and heavy! It seems to be mainly wooden, covered by real leather. It shows many signs of wear but is still strong and sturdy. There are large'pockets' inside for shoulder rest etc. The hinges and clips function correctly. It is the sort of case which a professional player would have used at one time. If the viola is bought by an overseas buyer it may be better if the case is not sent, as it is very heavy. The overseas postage costs assume that the auction does not include the case) The viola is being auctioned with the case described but no bow. I am offering up for bidding a circa 1860's strongbox. Typically used by banks such as Wells Fargo to protect valuables on trains and stage coaches. It is made of iron and is very solid on all sides including the bottom. The inside has some minor surface rust. There are no manufacturing stamps or engravings that I can find on the piece. The inside lid states"patented. The front states"fire safe. You can still see the decorative painting on the box. There is the usual wear you would expect for something this old. The paint is still in fairly god original shape though. There is a handle on each side with ornate ironwork. The box measures 13" in width by 9" in depth by 6.5" in height. It weighs 42 pounds. Antique Mid 19th Century Engine Turned Decoration Strong Box w Key
Mid 19th century or earlier? handsome and decorative metal locking strong box that looks like it is made of carbon steel to me but I can't be sure. It weighs 3 pounds 3 ounces and measures 6 1/4 long. 4 5/8 ths wide and 3 inches tall. All the sides have the same engine turned decoration. The seams are dovetailed as pictured and the hinge is strong. The top has no decoration but has a great handle. The locking mechanism is working and it comes with one key. The 11th picture has the only mark I can find on the box and it is near the middle on the bottom. There is patina as pictured, light wear for age, and no damage, seam splits, losses.

It measures 12 inches by about 9 and weighs over 10 3/4 pounds of brass. The brass is put together with rivets for strength on all sides. It was designed by a German immigrant, Herman Schmarsow of New York City. The patent date and number are on the bottom of the box. It was patented as a Safety Jewelry Chest. What is amazing about this old strongbox is that it has a built in motion sensor alarm system. Under the brass plate on the bottom is an alarm with an arm that would strike the side of the box with a loud clanging noise if the box was lifted. Moving the alarm pin on the underside. The brass is in found condition, not cleaned or polished in any way. There are no dings and dents or bent metal. One of the rivets holding the lock is loose, and needs to be re-set properly. This is a vintage figural tile by Ruth Faktor. With various surface textures& glazes and depicting a boy and two parents. The signature is on the bottom right. But so barely noticeable says"Ruth" shown in the last pic) This f rom what have gathered online:The artist was born in Ramat-Gan. Israel in 1937. She studied ceramics with Israeli's leading sculptor, A. Doctor and Z. Guri, a noted ceramist in Israel. From 1973 to 1977 Ruth studied at the Ramat-Gan Art School where she specialized in sculpture and modern art.They are made of brown earthen clay, molded, sculpted to the finished design and then bisque-fired at 900 degrees centigrade. Strong Oblong Viola Case by English Case Makers Hiscox
This is a used but strong oblong viola case by Hiscox. This case. Which is made with a strong ABS shell, is used but still very strong and usable. The case is fitted with 2 locks and strong handle. Both locks work leaving the case perfectly secure, but the left one has lost its springiness. The outside of the case has no splits or damage but just has a few marks from previous stickers etc as might be expected from normal use and one of the feet on the bottom is missing. The case has a shoulder strap but comes with enough D rings for another strap to make ruck sack straps. The interior is fitted out with a soft red material and is in nice. But used condition and will cossett and look after a good instrument. The interior has 2 bow clips and a large accessory pocket.
