ANTIQUE INDUSTRIAL CAST IRON METAL FARM WHEEL VINTAGE STEAMPUNK COG GEAR
Up for sale is one of these antique"pat pend" cast iron steampunk farm plow gear wheels. These gear wheels are great for yard or garden decor. Wall displays and even repurposed in making furniture or steampunk creations. Each wheel has very similar wear from age as the one pictured and are in good condition with no cracks or damage. The wheels vary from 14 1/2" to 14 3/4" in diameter depending on the wear to the nubs, the center hole has a diameter of 4 1/4" and the wheel is 7/8" wide. Vintage Industrial Articulating Adjustable Arm Work Lamp Light Cog Gear Base
For your consideration is this cool vintage articulating arm lamp work light. The lamp is adjustable at the base. Between the two arms, and at the top. All of the adjustment mechanisms are movable and hold position well. The shade measures 6 1/2" round, the first arm is 15 1/2" long and the bottom arm is 17 1/2" long. The original base to the lamp is 3" across and would have been screwed to the machinery, wall or table to provide work light. The lamp has been attached, for stability, to a cast aluminum gear that came out of the center of a wooden foundery mold. This light has great old natural steel gray patina with a bit of surface rust that gives it character, the shade has a few scratches and light dings and one small hole on the right side as shown in picture# 2 from being a work light. Cool Pair Vintage Industrial Foundry Mold Gear Cog Lamp Lights
For your consideration is this great pair of old matching foundry mold gear cogs made into a pair of lamps. These large gear lamps make quite the statement at 26" wide and 13 1/2" to top of gear. 22 3/8" to top of socket and 31" to top of harp. This is a rare find, because it is unusual to find a matching pair of cogs to make lamps. The foundry molds are painted black, the centers are unpainted wood and they have some silver on them. The gears came from the foundry this way, possibly a releasing agent when making the casts? These mold where used in industrial setting and so there is some missing paint and nicks in the wood, but no real damage. As pictured, there are numbers handwritten in marker on the top of each of the wooden half circle. I have pictured how the lamp parts are attached to the cogs, these can be removed ... moreif you have other plans for these great old cogs. Vintage Gear Flywheel Cog 3 Spoke 8 3/4" Industrial Machine Age Steampunk Art
I bel\ieve this was an old pulley or flywheel. Not sure what it went to. Has three flat spokes in the middle like a fan blade. Center hole has a locking bolt. Outer edge has a recessed ring. And there are a few small round holes on one side that dont go through. Shows its age, with surface rusting apparent. No breaks or major damage, and no serious pitting. Would clean up nicely. Mother loved to buy all kinds of things and never use them! DESCRIPTION: I do not know anything about buttons so I hope the description is right. Please look at the photos for details. These are from my mother’s estate. This auction is for one beautiful large button that was probably used for a coat or cape. It looks to me like this is made of some type plastic old plastic in black and brown and then painted silver. I can’t tell ... moreif the plastic is Bakelite or another type plastic. The edges show some wear and I can see a small area under the silver. The bottom wheel is black and the top gear is brown and grained like wood but it does not feel like wood to me but it might be. The back of the button shows has 2 silver pin shanks. APPROX. MEASUREMENTS: Diameter: 2 ½” Thickness not including the shank: 7/16” CONDITION: This button is in very good condition but the paint is worn and has a light scratch on the top and scratched on the bottom as you can see in the photos. Check the photos to see how nice this still is after all these years. This is clean and ready to wear. Display or give as a gift. This had been carefully stored along with 1000’s of other items Mother purchased and never used. She loved buttons and there are huge tubs of them I will be listing. I list daily so check back often. Vintage Industrial Wooden Foundry Mold Late 1800's Internal Gear Cog Wheel
For your consideration is this great old foundry mold that measures 13 5/8" across. This wooden foundry mold is from the late 1800's. The foundry used these molds in a sand casting process to produce the items in cast iron. The molds were made by specially skilled craftsmen. Whose precision woodworking, made perfect replicas of the cast iron piece that their customers requested. This foundry mold is a great old piece of American Industrial history, wonderful for industrial urban decor. We have other foundry molds, please check our other listings. It is painted black, as pictured and some of the paint is missing and it is rough in places from it's use in the foundry. This cool old foundry mold measures 13 5/8" across by 4 1/2" deep and the center gear is 6"in diameter.
