This stainless steel weighing pan came from an auction in Vermont. I am unsure of it's age. This weighing pan is well used. It has alot of use marks and two dings that you may be able to see in the 6th picture. The pan measures 10" long. 7 1/8" wide, and approximately 3" high. It weighs 10 ounces.

Decorative neat old cast iron scale. Resembles those scales used in general store for weighing candy. Seeds, etc. The scale measures about 16" long by 7" wide by 6" high with the pan on. The base without the pan measures about 10” long by 5” wide by 4” high. The scale has a removable metal scoop pan. It is too heavy to be tin but I am not sure what it is made of. The pan measures approx. 12” long by 7” wide by 2 ¾” high. I can not find any markings as to maker. There are 4 weights that are not marked. I feel the scale is in very good condition. It was painted black with the gold pan by a previous owner. The pan has some some scuff marks. Again this is a decorative scale. Not made for actual use. It weighs 6 to 7lbs. Vintage German Beam Balance Trade Scale—Weighs up to 5 Kilograms—Includes Pan.
Beautiful vintage white colored German compact beam scale for the trade. Could have been used in a candy store or other business that sells small items by weight. Includes a stainless steel holding pan that measures 7 1/2" in diameter and 1 3/4" tall. Very well made. The base and many of the components are cast iron and steel. The unpainted metal parts are stainless steel and include the beams the weights slide on and the weights themselves. The rough measurements of the scale are 10" wide x 7 1/2" deep and 6" tall with pan in place. Scale capacity is 5 kilograms. Top beam measures up to one kilogram and the bottom one goes up to 4 kilograms. There is locking lever which is engaged when weighing is completed. A neat old Fairbanks hardware scale with a copper pan for nails or whatever. It has great age to it. Would make a great display piece. I think it probably had a set of weights that you set on the platform to balance it out. I do not have these. It measures about 12" tall at pan. 12" wide at pan. and 24" long. The diameter of the scale is 7 3/4" The painted face is readable though as you can see from the pictures it has chips and rust. Originally there was an outer ring painted green. Then white then green. The next white ring contains the subdivisions of each pound as well as the odd numbered pounds. Vintage Standard Computing Scale with Brass Pan in Original Finish
Well kept. Standard Computing Scale Fan Fan Type from Detroit Michigan. Still has the orignal finish in Place and in fair condition, some spotting and discoloration. Seems from a casual testing that it is fairly accurate. Original Label still readable and legible. Original Serial Number Plate is missing. But shows the model number series(203 7644) Fans on both computing and customer sides have some discoloration or corrosion. Brass Scale Pan/Scoop is badly corroded. I have cleaned it to some extent with a jute wheel. But still has major corrosion in bottom as shown. Shipping to Continental US only. Unless arrangements are made prior to sale. VINTAGE BRASS BALANCE DOUBLE PAN SCALE OF JUSTICE WITH EAGLE AND DOLPHIN FISH
Very unusual vintage brass scale with the eagle of justice on the top and a dolphin fish as the center post. I've never seen one like this before and have not been able to find one in my research. The scale measures 19 1/2 inches tall and 12 inches wide(arms only. Not including the pans) With the pans, it is about 18 inches wide. This is a graceful, elegant scale that I've had in my family for years. My mother bought it when my father was stationed overseas in the mid last century and is probably from Italy although there are no markings on it. She bought several other scales in Italy at that time. It has a white marble base and the rest is in brass. It's amazing how balanced the pans are(many of the old ones like this do not balance equally) My mother had the scale cleaned and treated with a lacquer finish years ago which has ... morepreserved it beautifully except for some pitting on the pans. You can go by its looks that I love or just pass. But this nice scale works just fine and still has its adjustment screw that you can turn to be sure its on zero. Philadelphia PA, under that in smaller letters is NYC and PENNA shows a small scale and Approved Type Serial V 10, under that Series 820. I like it the way it is, but if you were going to use it which would be no issue, I would put some wd 40 spray up inside the dial to make lubricate the moving parts. The pan is not secure to the prongs in any way. Condition is good for being used and its age. I tested it with a digital postage scale and was pretty accurate.
