These are extremely heavy duty and weigh just under 11lbs ... moreeach! The wheels measure approx. 5 3/4" and stand approx. 8" tall overall. The base measures approx. 5" x 4 3/4" with drilled mounting holes that measure 3 5/8" and 4" center to center. The wheels move freely and are covered in surface rust. I have left them exactly as found not knowing if someone wants the aged patina. They need a good cleaning and grease. The only defect I can find is a small chip in one of the wheels.see the photo) I'm not sure if it's an old chip or defect in the casting. Two of the wheels appear as though the holes weren't drilled through after the casting. The wheels are the largest I've seen and with a weight of almost 11 lbs. each. They will be shipped separately in(two) Priority Mail Large Flat Rate boxes at a rate of $16.85 each. The total shipping is $33.70. This is the actual cost, I don't make money on shipping. Nice old smudge pot. It is 8 3/4" tall(handle down) and 6 3/4" wide. It has the wick in it and could be fired up if one wanted. This piece is in very clean used condition and has no kerosene or fuel oil o der at all. And is fairly heavy weighing in at 5 lbs. This was made back when t hings were made to last. The 1st and 4th pic accuately depict the correct color. This would make a great item for that industrial interior look. It is a Storm King and it was made by Shanklin Mfg. Co. in Springfield. Illinois Ill Il. Pretty nice piece of Americana memorabilia.

Up for auction is an Industrial Photographic Studio Light. Maybe late 40's to early 50's. Don't know for sure. It is a very sturdy Fully functional Light. This was in the early years of the industrial age when curves and scallops were incorporated into even the machines of the day. Rusted over when found. Its been power wire brushed to reveal the dark patina of the iron while leaving a nice balance of rust red. The entire piece was then clear matte coated. The bottom of each end of the stretcher has a notch that fits onto a slot on the bottom of the leg. The top of each end fits into a slot at the top of each leg. Then the table top/ work surface is placed onto the legs, sliding a tab on the underside into a slot on the top of each leg. Slipping a lock pin through these last two tabs locks the entire assembly ... morein place. The height from floor to the work surface is 25" The top measures 22" x 15" Each leg is 20" front to back. The oak table is missing a section of veneer underneath it is 2"x 1.25" near the edge. This table is two sections of wood glued together and the top section is cracked and needs glued. Wood area that holds the sheet music. The area in the center is missing the 3 rods that go up and down. Not sure if they were original wood or metal. Up for bid is what looks to be a motor for an old fan. It says it is 1/15 hp. All the info is in the pics I posted. Brief background of the item is this was found in an old machine shop thats very old. Many of the items are 100 years old. This was found under a shelf with a bunch of other random parts. Vintage 1800's 16" Scissors Shears Dressmaking Tailor No Rsv Antique Industrial?
This auction is for a really great pair of antique scissors. They measure about 16 inches in length! They have what appears to be a brass hinge. We've seen others that were virtually identical listed as being faintly marked from 1845& made in New York. We can't find a stamp mark on ours. But believe that it could be there but due to age we can't see it. We were tempted to try to polish them up to see if we could find anything, but don't want to ruin the lovely patina these have. The blades are still straight and sharp and they cut very well. These are very big and very heavy! Please see pictures as they are part of the description. It is made of very sturdy metal, has some paint chips with surface rust, but otherwise in good condition. As you can see in the photos, it will accomodate 2 large spools of thread. The top bracket height is adjustable, the holes in it can be used to route the thread to the sewing machine being used, or fasten it to a stationary support to make it even sturdier, the spool rests height is also adjustable. Up for your consideration is this rare Singer sewing machine made in Elizabeth. New Jersey, March 27, 1918. Only 100 were made. The serial number is G6129388 and it is a class 105-1. This is for the head only. The needle bar goes up and down when I turn the balance wheel. The front plate that covers the gears is missing and it needs a belt. It still has some old caked-on oil that I'm sure can be removed; you can see it in the photos in spots such as the brass 105-1 plate on the back. This was used to make harvesters' gloves. Fabulous retro industrial, wonderful original artwork, and even some deco thrown in- there’s something for everyone! You know. I really have no idea what this piece was originally- was it a table base, a part of some type of industrial equipment, some type of mold, a large horn piece- your guess is as good as mine, but all I had to do was take one look at the drop-dead-gorgeous original painted patina- and I knew it has to be mine.er.yours.mine.yours! Weighing in at a hefty 10 1/2 lbs of iron(and a little wood! I put it next to my porch swing to try to give you an idea of the size of this big piece. I also put some ever green branches inside to show you it would make a phenominal vase for ... moreyour dried display(not sure if it would hold water- didn't try, but I see no holes or cracks or light when I hold it up to the sun) It's really asking for something Taaaallllll to go inside the vase(if that's how you use it) as this is a true statement piece. As you can see from my photos, it has a round open"mouth" on one end that opens up all the way to the bottom(I couldn't get my tape measure all the way down, though, because there's what looks like leaves or stuff at the very bottom. The rim of the mouth has 6 screw holes from where it used to be mounted to something. The other end is actually half round(not broken that way, just how the piece was originally) and it is mounted on a 1 1/8" thick piece of wood that measures 7 3/4" by 5 1/2. Now, the piece will stand on it's own on either end- on the wood, or on the round open mouth- which is the way I would have it if you were going to make it into a table base(by removing the wood that's currently on it and replacing it with a larger piece) All together, mounted on the wood, it measures 22 5/8" tall. This is a antique 1902 Willcox Gibbs industrial sewing machine Ser. No. A733982 that I have restored. All old paint was removed and parts cleaned then inspected and found in good condition. I painted it black and after new decals where put on. Clear paint was sprayed on to seal and protect the new decals. The machine sews a good stitch and works easy. All nickel plated parts where polished. It has some pitting on the cloth that I clean and polished over. it looks good and works fine. Question welcome.

VINTAGE LARGE WOODEN TEXTILE SPOOL This is a great old wooden textile spool. It was filled with thread and used in a factory for making clothing. It has it's original golden patina. The spokes are wood. There looks like there might be numbers on the inside wheel where the spokes go into the inside metal piece. They are dirty but I will leave any cleaning up to the new owner-they have great old patina. They would make super great wall art. Overall length with the hook and eye is 8 1/2" This pulley has only a very faint mark which is almost not legible.pat.jan.1868? However. This is a great old foundry mold that measures 14in X 10in X 4 1/2in. This wooden foundry mold is from the early 1900's. The foundry used these molds in a sand casting process to produce the items in cast iron. The molds were made by specially skilled craftsmen. Whose precision woodworking, made perfect replicas of the cast iron piece that their customers requested. This mold is a great old piece of American Industrial history, wonderful for industrial urban decor, it would make a great shelf. This is painted and does show paintwear, as pictured. Found in a old industrial foundry are these antique wooden industrial patterns used to make moulds for castings. These patterns where pressed into a special sand mixture to create a impression in the sand. Then the wooden patterns where removed& molton metal was poured into the sand impression& allowed to cool to form the cast iron or aluminum part. It took a real craftsman to make these patterns. The book ends were made out of real brass gears that w ere bent in order to create an angle that wou ld support the weight of a book. It looks like the eagles are made of cast iron and than painted with a gold-like paint. This one of the earliest examples of industrial assemblage that perfectly represents the era of industrialization. I believe that a combination of a machinery gear and an eagle is a symbol of heavy industry and engineering. The museum is collecting the funds and is selling some of the unique items. Notice that one of the eagles is slightly different from another. I believe a person who made these bookends reused slightly different eagles and placed them on the identical gears. The gears look absolutely identical. Great set of four cast iron casters. I'm guessing they came off a big price of machinery or heavy duty cart. All four have the same star pattern. This set is bad ass and beautiful at the same time.
