Very OLD Antique Acoustic Parlor Guitar 4 Repair, Six String, Gear Tuners V Neck
We have this very old parlor guitar to offer in rough as found condition. We have just aquired this today and it is in need of repair and some help. It has a V neck. Nice gear tuners which one is slightly bent. It has two long cracks in the back or you could say one that goes from top to bottom. There has been some past repairs to the guitar and I have tried to show this in the photo's. The guitar is 35 1/2" in total length, it has a body length of 17 1/2" the;ower bout is 12" across and the upper bout is 8 3/4" across. All the notes are marked on the finger board from the top to the twelfth fret. The neck is straight, finger board and frets show slight ware, the top has a few cracks and we are offering this parlor guitar in as found condition. Please view our photo's and ask with questions. 9.5 ft Montague Manitou Fly Fishing Rod 3-piece This is a rare Montague Manitou 3 piece fly fishing rod with spare end section. The reel seat style is rare. The finish on the has no scratches or dents. Made out of bamboo. The handle is a little worn. The length of each piece is about 39" The ferrules(metal connector between the sections) are in excellent condition and original. Based on a style by John Landman. This was probably made prior to the 1930's. I couldnt get a clear picture of the montague manitou lable but it is not worn off and clearly visible. 2 Pair Vintage Child's Swim Fins Antique Old Swimming Gear SCUBA Snorkel USA
You are bidding on 2 pair of vintage child's Swimming Diving Fins- Small size foot size. They measure 10 inches overall length and 6 1/2 inches wide at the end of the fin. The only markings I can find is on the strap they say Made in USA and there is a picture of a swimmer with fins molded into the top. They are in good condition. From a bar closing sale. Here we have a could old foundry forms, in the form of worm gear halves. The halves are NOT a mated pair, they're different sizes. These were taken down from being decorations in a bar here in Nebraska, and the owner had lag bolted the smaller to the walls with two lag bolts(one at each end) and the larger form was screwed to the wall with four screws at each end. So they each have non-original holes. This would not be too hard to repair though, especially if they were repainted. But anyway, you get what you see. I believe that a combination of a machinery gear and an eagle is a symbol of heavy industry and engineering. This bike was most likely built in the later part of the 1890's or early 1900's. Definitely a mystery bike. The 28" wheels are not clad and are also broken. No names can be found on the hubs as they are rusted. The rear hub is a fixed gear with a small cog. It also has a great peg on the axle thats perfect for hopping on the bike. The blocked skiptooth chain is rusted and fairly stiff. But could be brought to life with some help. The crank is a small diameter model with 5 arms. Its a cotter pin style setup. The ... morepedals match and seem to be original. They are a little rough but they spin. The T- style seatpost is unique. But the most interesting feature of the bike is the frame itself- its a very small diameter setup. The top-tube is 22.5mm diameter, seat tube and downtube are 1" tubes, headtube runs about 30mm. The stem diameter is just under 19.5mm. Stem and bars are 1 piece- very narrow tubes too. The bike would have been a very upright and wippy ride. Fun to try and we wish the rims were rideable. The long seat stays have no brake bridge and would be a bit whippy too- and they are bolted to the seat lug. The seatstay bolt also is used as the seatpost binder bolt. The grips were cork. But are now rotted away to nothing. Only a bit remains. The bike is lugged. Which is unique, and also has a crowned fork. Original color? other than rust? Probably black.
