However, the fixture is not actually bent wood. It is molded plastic! Well, it was the 70s. I thought it was bentwood until realizing that there were no visible wires(save the vertical wire) How. I wondered, did they get wires inside wood arms? Then it occurred to me: the whole was molded plastic. And with hollow arms. The fixture looks like wood. Hence my belated realization. In any event, I liked the fixture even better knowing its true composition. Kinda cool. Very 1970s. There are five clear glass globes. And these sit in silver dishes.
