Title Vintage French Cherub Demi-Lune Wall Light, This is a vintage French demi-lune or D-shape wall light dating from around 1920. Discovered in a brocante in central France near Limoges. It is made from solid brass which has acquired a nice patina over the years. There is a ribbed central band with two cherubs in the centre holding a laurel wreath in classical style. Below this there are three tiers of crystals. Octagon and icicle drops. The light is inside the frame so that it shines through the crystals when lit creating a delightful effect. Vintage Crystal Chandelier Cherub Large Wall Sconce solid brass Cool!!
Hi. Up for sale today is this very unusual cool wall sconce. I have given you a number of pictures for your inspection. The sconce back plate meas. 29" tall,6 1/2" wide. chandelier is approx. 9" by 9"The meas. from the arm to bottom of chandelier is 17" Crystals may need a little adjusting when you receive it. Check out the little cherub heads around the top of chandelier. Back plate is massive and has beautiful detail. Piece is solid brass. Sconce has a switch so you could hook it up direct to wall box.
