This very cool chandelier hung in a home near Cincinnati, but now it is here– selling on eBay. People’s lives change, sometimes beginning accidentally or ending unexpectedly. It is approximately 17” to 18” diameter. Being a five-shade fixture, one can measure it two or three different ways. It currently set up with a total drop of 16” when measured from the upper bell where the five chains meet, down to the bottom of the drop-in shade. Total drop from the ceiling is 27” but that is a meaningless measurement since links can be added or replaced at will. Even if you have a 24 foot ceiling in you breakfast ... morenook, all it takes is a trip to your local hardware store for chain and wire, and you can make it hang three feet above your table. The frame was painted brassy gold some years ago. And they did a great job. I’d say the fixture is spelter or some sort of strong metal other than brass or iron. That picture makes me wish I’d at least dusted it a little. See what I mean about the nice quality of the painted finish? The original wiring remains to the hub. But the wire from there up is of more recent vintage. It works. I’ve seen it all lit up. Notice a fragment of the maker’s label on top of the hub? I’ll bet I could find the name of the maker using that fragment. But I’m already so far behind there is little hope of every catching up. My yellow arrow points to a chip so shallow I can’t get a photo of it. It’s hidden anyway. There are also a few surface dings around the outer edges of the drop-in bottom shade. There again. Vintage Glass Chandelier 24" with glass shades
This vintage chandelier is 24" in diameter. 28" in height and is ready to hang. The hardware is chrome. This is for mounting in a standard ceiling junction box. It is from my house which was built in 1965 so I assume it is approximately that old. It is about 25-35 pounds. It is a vintage item and so it does show some wear. But there are no blemishes that I can see. It has five lights, all of its grape etched blown shades are included and it is ready to hang- It is fully functional(I just removed it from my dining room a few weeks ago) I believe that the"crystals" are cut glass but I don't know for sure. The arms appear to be plastic with the white fabric cords inside.

RARE ANTIQUE SPANISH MISSION COLONIAL IRON CHANDELIER BLOWN GLASS FLAME SHADES
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! We are pleased to offer this rare. Antique to older vintage Spanish Mission chandelier. This stunning fixture features hammered and scrolled wrought iron which is paired with hand blown, crackled amber glass. The chandelier is 5 arm and 6 light as there is a bottom, down light in the center of the fixture. The blown glass is featured on each shade/globe as well as in the center of the chandelier frame. The rare globes/shades are glass blown into each wrought iron cage. The globes are flame shaped with a swirled iron cage and pointed tops. Because each is hand blown, the shades are not identical and each is slightly different from the others which gives the chandelier tremendous interest. They have iron bases and simply slip into the bobeches. The blown glass in the center of the frame is a bell shaped piece with curved ... moreends. The iron frame is gorgeous. Ornately scrolled wrought iron accents alternate with each of the arms. These sections extend below the arm level for a nice, dimensional affect. The scrolled sections are flattened and hammered while the arms are hammered but tubular. The chandelier has a scalloped iron canopy and hammered/scalloped bobeches. We purchased(and removed) the chandelier from an estate which was built in 1922. The fixture was added in the 1930s. The glass is the"sharp to the touch" very textured style of blown glass. The chandelier has"vintage" wiring(has been rewired in the 1960s) and. While the chandelier is working, was actually being used up to the time that we removed) we always recommend that the wiring be inspected. Each of the sockets(6) on the fixture require regular(not small candelabra) bulbs. The chandelier measures 23.5" in diameter. This is a really nice old hanging light. The glass is in very nice shape it is silver in color not sure of the material it is made of but my magnet does not stick to any part of this piece. it measures 17-18 inches long from top mounting piece to the bottom. all of the glass panels have white designs not sure if you call it etched or not but it looks nice. very ornate light with good details! Offered is a beautiful old early 1940s brass chandelier measuring 18 inches wide by 14 inches high plus the 17 inch chain and original oversize brass 7 inch ceiling canopy. The chandelier features a 5 light frame. Adorned with glass spear prisms and grape pattern glass shades. The prisms are supported by removable brass shade rings. VICTORIAN 1800s ANTIQUE CHANDELIER RESTORED BRASS GAS LIGHT ETCH GLASS SHADES
This chandelier is a beauty! Formerly a gas light. It is fully restored and electric addes. The only imperfection is a slight chip on one of the etched shades as shown in the close up picture. You will also note that the edges of the shades vary slightly even though they appear to be just alike. The chandelier measures approximately 31 1/2" tall by 32 inches wide. Reduced Rare Art Nouveau Crafts Large Cut Glass Dome Chandelier 3 Frosted Shades
Hello. Welcome to our auction of this original Art nouveau brass chandelier with large central frosted& cut glass dome and 3 large pendant lantern lights suspended down from the centre piece. The ceiling rose measures 8.5" wide and 4" tall. The main frame is 17" across and 5 1/4" tall. it measures a total drop from the ceiling of 34" With each side pendant on a chain of 3 links and total length from the top if the frame of 16.5 inches. It will require a re-wire and small amount of attention to the metal links holding all the pieces. It still has the ceramic rise& fall fixture within the ceiling rose. Which now has a metal hook. Each of the pendants has the old white ceramic edged screw fittings(normal width) There is a suspended arm adjoined to the frame which holds a bulb to the centre if the dome. For the ... morepurposes of the photos I have suspended the light over a single energy bulb.not the brightest. But I think this gives a basic idea of how it could look. The glass is in near perfect condition with only a couple of light edge marks where the small screws have held it in place. The dome and other 2 lanterns are unmarked. One of the small screws is damaged, but the shade is firmly in place with only 2. Good patina and age on the metal work, could be slightly polished so the floral motifs are highlighted. 4 NUART Art Deco Carnival Glass Shades On 4 Arm Brass Antique Chandelier Fixture
This is a wonderful antique brass and frosted glass shade 4 arm chandelier with 4 matching NUART Art Deco carnival glass shades. I believe it dates from the 1920s or 1930s. The shades have a beautiful amber color. They each have a fluted pattern on the inside of the shade. They have lightly etched grapes and leaves. Each is marked on the rim NUART. There are no chips or cracks on any of them. However. One of them has tiny thin scratches on the inside around the middle. The only way I can describe them is that someone tried to fit a lightbulb in it that was too big and it made tiny scratch marks along the inside. Unfortunately, I was unable to photograph them. The shades alone could be used for a FRANKART lamp or fixture also. The brass fixture is not marked with a maker's name. The arms have a great Art Deco pattern. It is in very good ... morecondition for its age except that it has a number of tiny 1/8 inch cracks along the rim on top. Approximately 15 of them. They look to have been there for a long time and do not look like they will break any more as the brass is securely fastened to the other piece of brass. It's a very sturdy piece. It also has a wonderful etched frosted glass center dome. The dome has some little dark marks on it and some dirt around the rim which I could not get off. But which don't show much. There is a tiny chip on the lip, approximately 1/4 inch wide. There are a few other flea bites around the rim which do not affect its structure. The shades are each approximately 5 1/2 inches tall(14 cm) Their main opening is 3 7/8 inches wide(9.8 cm) The fitter openings are 2 1/4 inches across(5.7 cm) The frosted glass dome is 12 inches wide(31 cm) It is 5 1/2 inches deep(14 cm) It's lip measures 9 7/8 inches across(25 cm) The main brass fixture is 21 inches wide(53 cm) The round part is 13 inches wide(33 cm) It measures 32 inches from the top of the ceiling attachment to the bottom of the shades(81 cm) I believe it was rewired within the last 30 years. I see such shades in old catalogs but have never come across a complete set, much less still with the original fixture. In addition. The ... morecenter of the chandelier features a porcelain blue vase! Incredible! When the shades are lighted they wholly change color. They become almost white. While the deep blue edges become a kinda lilac blue and really complement the center vase. Cool. The vertical wire is new. And cloth-covered like the original. Nice. Each arm has five glass drops. And there’s a gorgeous glass sphere as a finial. Wow. It just don’t get any better. The chandelier is wonderfully luscious and elegant. So. VINTAGE NOUVEAU WOOD CHANDELIER BRASS SCROLL FLOWER ARMS GLASS SHADES ROSES
We are pleased to offer this fabulous. Vintage chandelier. This gorgeous fixture dates to the 1970s and is an Art Nouveau Revival chandelier. The chandelier features a turned wood(walnut) columnar body and 5 brass arms. The arms are exceptionally designed with Nouveau or Aesthetic curves and scrolls. The arms are opened in design, not solid. They are accented with large flowers, also accomplished with an opened design. The chandelier is a down light fixture. Each arm houses a large, frosted glass globe shade. The shades have a large, fluted pattern in that they have concave sections. They have a band of large roses which are embossed into the glass. There is also a beaded design. Their housing is brass. The chandelier has a large hanging ring finial just above the wooden column and a small brass bottom finial. It retains the original wiring ... moreand hanging chain as well as the original ceiling cover/canopy. The canopy is also embossed with a floral medallion. This is a beautiful fixture. The wood has a medium stain and the brass has an antiqued finish. The chandelier is in very good condition with only very minor signs of age/use. There are some light scuffs to the wood, but nothing distracting. The brass a few"age spots" but they are very minor. The glass is good with some very minor areas of wear to the frosted finish. Their fitters have the appropriate wear. The wiring is original but in good condition. There is not a manufacturer's sticker or stamp but the vintage yellow UL sticker is still present. We purchased two of these chandeliers from the same auction. They have the same wood and brass designs but the shades are different. Each chandelier is listed separately. The chandelier measures 18" tall. It is 20" in diameter with the shades attached and 17" without the shades on the fixture. The shades are 6" tall. We are pleased to offer this beautiful and unique Mid Century brass chandelier. This fixture has elements of Arts& Crafts Mission. Art Deco and Mid Century design. The chandelier features ornate, pierced brass bands under each socket as well as on the top of the fixture. The chandelier has a flared body. There are 5 arms of twisted brass that connect the upper chandelier to the light sockets. The arms pass through the horizontal brass band at the bottom section of the fixture. Inside of the arms is a large, brass, bell shaped"inner body" This feature houses a single, large, flood light bulb for down lighting. Each arm houses a single candelabra style bulb. A decorative bottom finial completes each arm. The chandelier has a slip shade design. There are 5 hurricane style, glass slip shades that rest on each arm. The shades are ... morea very delicate glass. They are a soft, almost clear shade with a slight hint of gold. In direct light, the shades are an iridescent, brilliant gold color. This is a fabulous chandelier. It is in very good condition. The brass is an antiqued brass color with some aged patina. The shades are very good with no chips or cracks. The wiring is vintage but in very good condition and the chandelier is in working order. The chandelier retains the original ceiling cover/canopy. Inside the canopy is a yellow UL sticker. There is also either a manufacturer's or retailers sticker which reads"Carson Lighting, Santa Fe Springs, CA" The chandelier is 17" in height(excluding chain and ceiling canopy) It is 21.5" in diameter without the glass shades and 22" with the shades in place. There is an 18" section of original brass chain included. Counting the chaing and the ceiling canopy. The chandelier is 36" in height to ceiling. The glass shades are 6.25" tall. ANTIQUE VINTAGE ARTS CRAFTS MISSION HAMMERED BRASS CHANDELIER ART GLASS SHADES
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique to older vintage, Arts and Crafts, Mission chandelier. This gorgeous fixture features a brass frame with a coppered patina. The brass is lightly hammered for texture and floral medallions further accent the chandelier. The circular frame houses 5 arms/lights which extend outward from the frame in candlestick fashion. The original, seeded, clear glass shades are present and in good condition with no chips, cracks, etc. Scrolled brass attaches to the circular frame and extends below the frame for interest. Made Spain" One of the glass pieces has a small chip from the corner but not noticeable when in place in the light The lightbulb broke off in the socket so it needs removed but due to safety. 1920's Industrial Solid Brass Chandelier Ceiling Fixture Holophane Glass Shades

I purchased this many years ago out of an old veterans club. It's very well made with deep casting. The shades are true period pieces.
