I believe the angel slaying the dragon would be Michael. The dragon represents Satan. Finely crafted and rich with detail. Solid cast iron with a bronze finish. Structurally sound. This large wall sconce is in good condition with some mild to moderate surface wear and rust. Most of the rust can be seen on the back side and along the tops of where the light fixtures should be. This sconce will have to be wired and the fixtures will have to be added. This is the original patina. I haven't attempted ... moreto clean it or touch it up in any way. The metal appears to be either bronze or brass. They have ornate openwork with a brass plate attached to the back that has a reddish, crackled, finish on the front(it shows through the openwork on the back of the sconce, see photo) The finish appears to be original and so do the cardboard candle covers(the covers have a lot of wear) They both have an on/off switch that appears to be working(it clicks when you turn it) Each sconce measures approximately 12 1/4" high x 9 1/4" across(end of arm, to end of arm) x about 4 7/8" across the back plate that mounts to the wall. They will stand out from the wall about 3" I'm not sure how they ... moreattach to the wall but one of them has an extra piece in the back for mounting(the other one does not, see photo) These lovely Wall Lights are in very good with the finish still beautiful. Double candle holders with highly ornate floral deco and two big fish at the top. The sconce measures 18" tall and 10" wide across the candle holders. There is a space for a picture or photo(opening is 3 1/2" x 71/2" The back has a thin brass plate covering the photo opening and a strong round ring for hanging. It weighs over 3 1/2 lbs. Vintage Ornate Lantern/Light Fixture. It is made by Lightcraft of California. The name is also engraved on the inside of panel. Note* Cap is bent- you must see all pictures and zoom in for condition of this item. This fixture takes 1 bulb. Missing 1 glass panel. Only 3 glass panels in blue, amber and a pink? It also needs to be rewired. The lantern measures 17" from bottom to top scroll, and about 4.5" across. Each intricate panel is about 12 1/2"x 4.5" and has slots that hold glass. This is a stunning high quality antique solid cast iron Gothic electric chandelier. It is made with an abundance of intricate ornate detailing. Made of thick iron, and is extremely heavy. it has acquired a wonderful patina from age and has a beautifully textured/hammered finish. it has a nice bronzed finish with several colored embellishments. it has 5 very detailed arms and each holds a generic sized bulb. they have ornate socket covers that match the chandelier and topped with painted brass ball topped finials. the chandelier mounts flush to the ceiling with the large ornate canopy which is mounted to the rest of the chandelier. so it does not dangle it is a stationary chandelier. the piece measures 18 1/2 inches tall by 17 3/4 inches wide. it is in nice shape. STUNNING ANTIQUE vintage cast iron chandelier fixture UNIQUE ORNATE gothic RARE
This is a gorgeous candelabra style 5 ight fixture- probably cast iron because it's so heavy. But not sure exactly. The styling is unusual- almost an old Spanish feel but with large organic or floral features making a"cage" at the top. As mentioned in the item condition, there isn't a matching gold canopy, but I will include the one I bought to go with this one. There is a finial included and a couple more parts, but I'm not sure how it goes. As is, the light is lovely, so whatever anyone does to it, it'll be a great looking light. I like the bases for the"candles" and how they have a drip spout thing on them. I don't know the age of the light, there aren't markings as far as I can tell. This is a stunning very large antique ornate Victorian/ Gothic brass and staines glass electric wall sconce from a church. It is done with an abundance of intricate detailing and extremely ornate. Vintage 1940's Ornate Italian Hall Lantern Porch Light Gothic Wrought Iron
For your consideration is this wonderful Italian hall lantern or porch light. From the 1940's. This light is in good condition, with all of it's original textured glass and all of the tabs to hold the glass in place. It is beautifully ornate with lots of wrought iron scroll work, all holding well, no broken pieces. The lantern is secured to the 5 3/4" canopy with the scroll work. It is 19 1/2" tall and 11 3/4" across including the scrollwork. The glass portion of the light is 8 3/4" tall. This light looks as though it did hang on a porch, it is not rusted but weathered and the black paint has some rainbow effect from being out in the weather. As expected, it does have some chipping of the black paint in places. It has been rewired. PLEASE NOTE: Everything we sell is vintage. These elegant Victorian oil lamps have been converted to electric but could be converted back pretty easily if you choose- The electric cords are in great shape- The lovely acid etched shades do not match but compliment each other very well.They are in very nice condition with only a few tiny chips around the bottom rim- The two ruffle top chimneys are excellent- One of the oil fonts has a chip in one area that is pretty significant- 2" across- but if faced to the wall would not show at all- These are antique pieces that have been used and so there are some signs of wear( see all photos) The black cast iron has been painted white with gold accents- They are very ornate and quite beautiful- 19" tall with chimney X 12" deep to wall- Shipping with insurance is fast& free* Fl-10/Nico-

Up for auction/sale is this original antique cast iron and brass wall sconce/lamp. The shield and arm are made of cast iron. The shield is embellished with filigree work and two ornate finials. The flute base is made of brass and has brass leaves surrounding. The socket is very old and the paper is coming off from around it. There is a considerable amount of rust throughout the cast iron. The arm and base are slightly bent. The socket. Switch, and wiring are present and intact. The switch is marked"LEVITON" on the back and the back of the shield is stamped with the numbers"306" This is a very old piece and it's in good shape for it's age. Vintage Gothic Style hanging lamp with gold toned metal frame and white glass. A nice piece but has one broken glass pane that should not be a problem to replace. ~~~Great Vintage Art Deco piece ~~~Measures 13W x 44H ~~~Fixture is wired and has chain to hang. ~~~Missing one pane of glass. ~~~Condition: Good. One white glass panel needs replaced.
