It dates from the early 1900's around 1920. It is a signed Electrolier fixture. This company made high end lighting in the 1920's and 1930's. This fixture comes with the slip shade. The glass shade is free from any chips or cracks. This lamp looks quite nice hen it is lit. The sconce has the original gold paint and it is free from any signs of rust which is nice. This slip shade sconce has the original switch on it and it is still active and working. This lamp has been tested working however it still has the old cloth wires so you may want to have them replaced. The sconce measures 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" and projects 5 1/4" from the wall( with the shade on) The slip for the shade is 4 5/8" at the top and curves in over 3 1/4" As you can see there is some white wall paint on the one corner. This could easily be cleaned off but we did not want to ruin any of the original gold paint so we will leave it up to you. Never Any Reserve! All questions will be answered promptly! Markel Slip Shade Wall Sconce. Art Deco era and mainly these were made in the 30s. The glass is in excelle nt condition and could not find any flea bites. Obviously chips or cracks. This glass is very special and made with uranium in it, so when under b lack light it glows. Rare to find this glass still and especially in this condition. The frame is of a cast metal and heavier metal at that. It has been cleaned and r estored to a medium gold. And oil rubbed to enhance the details of the frame. The brass turn switch has been replaced with a new one and the socket and wiring also. The bulb it would take is a standard size bulb that w ith a regular base. The wattage of 60 or less is recomm ended. Especially for the presentation of the color of the shade. The stronger wattage the less color of the glass. We are pleased to offer this antique pair of brass wall light sconces. This Art Deco pair dates to the 1920s. The pair are very nice and elegant without being too ornate. They feature an interesting bell design on the back plate. The bell houses the deeply curved arm as well as the on/off switch. The socket area is fashioned in a candle cup holder design. This lovely pair have very nice and Art Deco period glass shades. The shades are frosted satin with a grape cluster and vine pattern in clear glass. This is very nice pair of sconces. 1920's Art Deco porcelain wall light sconce with underglaze floral decoration
Art deco porcelain wall sconce with floral decorations. This fixture was mounted in the hallway in the third floor of our old house built in 1925. The third floor had been unused for decades and I believe this was original to the 1925 construction. Piece is in very good used condition and is being sold as-is. There are some little discolored scuff marks. Probably from removing from the wall, I think TSP takes those off. The end of the little pull is painted wood and it's dirty and chipped a little. You can feel the painted floral pattern as though it were actually painted under the glaze and it'sin very good condition. I can't see any wires inside the socket, but this should certainly be rewired for use. The part that mounts on the wall measures 6&5/8 inches tall and 3&1/2" across at the widest. Piece projects about ... more4&1/8 inches from the wall. Overall piece is in excellent condition. But take a good look at the photos as piece is being sold as-is.

Sconce measures 12 1/2" tall x 10 1/2" wide x 5" deep. The NuTone Scovia doorbell chime housing is stamped A-9533(34) and on top L43 K70F and is complete. The sconce was used as a wall door chime SCONCE cover which would light up whenever visitors came to visit and rang the front door bell. Gothic Style Single-Candle Electric Wall Sconce Marked patent 11-15-27 on the candle's electric bar under the cardboard tube. It's made from metal and called polychrome finish with gold color background and highlights of blue and red in center of what looks to me like a shield design. There is a crown shape in center. Decorative volutes at top and bottom, button like flower shape in center which attaches the bracket in back. On/off switch at base. Important.this old sconce needs to be rewired. TLC before you can use it. Measures about 10.5" tall and 4" widest point. Extends out about 6" from the wall. If you need any other measurements just let me know. VINTAGE 1930 VIRDEN ART DECO WALL SCONCE LIGHT FIXTURES FROM FARMHOUSE ESTATE
Offered is a Matching Pair of Vintage Virden Wall Sconce Light Fixtures. Each sconce measures approx. 11” tall by 4 1/8” wide at the widest point. They extend outward from the wall approx. 4 ½ inches. These sconces are from an old farmhouse estate in middle Tennessee. They are definitely authentic. As I personally removed them from the wall. They are lightweight and appear to be cast aluminum. The white that you see is layers of decades old paint. To match the walls as they were painted through the years. There are surface scuffs& dings here and there as well as other natural patina. Consistent with that of 80+ year old antique fixtures. One of the sconces appears to have had the on/off switch replaced. The date and age of this wire is unknown. It is recommended to replace the on/off switch and sockets on both sconces(probably $10 ... moreor less each) with modern components. They are offered as is. ALL ORIGINAL piece with the metal section at 9” tall and 4.25” across at its widest. Two cast holes allow for easy attachment with your hardware. The socket has a paper board sleeve over what looks like a brass fitting/ socket. A metal turn style switch at the base of the socket area turns it on/ off. The paper board socket cover has wear and you may wish to replace it but it is not necessary. From an estate dispersal and at ebay for your consideration is this amazing and impressive Art Deco wall sconce. This light will be about 40 inches tall when the glass is installed. glass not included. This fixture needs the glass replaced which is only 3/8" thick white glass cut 2.25 wide and starting in the middle with a 34 inch length that is pointed on the top and then repeated on each side 1 inch shorter each time also with a pointed top. You will have a total of 9 pieces that slide right in the top when the sconce is installed. There are 3 toggle switches at the bottom that controls the lights. Usually has white red and blue bulbs installed. The electrical has not been tested. The metal decoration on the bottom has a break in the front and some corrosion as shown in the photos. Vintage Art Deco Wall Sconce Light Fixture Candle Style Very Nice Lightolier?
Here is a vintage/antique Art Deco Style Double Wall Sconce Light Fixture. Although it feels and looks like cast iron. It must be some other metal as it is not magnetic. It does however have a beautiful look to it, with golds, reds, and greens, in a wonderful old design. This piece measures 12" in height, is about 10" wide, and projects from the wall about 4" The original'dripping' candle paper light holders are in wonderful shape- one of them does have a slight tear on the back side. This looks like it could be a lightolier piece, but I can find no markings, other than 1004 S stamped in the bottom of each candle holder. Gorgeous antique pair of art deco or nouveau wall sconces. Cast metal by Moe Bridges of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Painted beige with bits of green on the leaves and other parts of the fixtures. Heavy cardboard candle covers over the sockets. Retain original finish, they have been rewired with new sockets, the original switches are still on the lights but are not hooked up. If you wished to use the switches again they should be tested, and probably new switches installed. Will work fine wired directly into your house wiring and bypassing the switches, just wiring to a wall switch. There are small bits of metal cut on the sides of each fixture, probably for wiring, this isn't readily noticeable and over all these are really cool. They could be repainted or just left shabby as they are, they are great looking pieces. 2 Matching Vintage Wall Hung Art Deco Bathroom Light Sconce Lamp Fixtures, Works
DESCRIPTION: A vintage pair of matching Art Deco. Sconce style, wall hung bathroom light fixtures. They are 100% Complete, 100% Original, 100% Operational! I do not know the age, but am guessing circa 1930's. They both have a round bakelight switch at their base which allows for individual control of the lights aside from any wall switch to which it may be connected. The glass cylinder"chimneys" are large enough to accomodate regular size incandescent bulbs(I photographed one of them with a 60W bulb to demonstrate it's luminescence) The sconces appear to be nickel plated. A magnet will stick to them and the plating is thick. But please note that I am not a metallurgist. There are several design indentations located at several places on each sconce, in which it offers a textured surface that is in contrast to the super sleek ... moreshine of the majority of the surface area. The chimneys are a white milk colored glass(NOT frosted) and are evenly shaped cylinders. Important dimensions: Total Height = 8 1/2 inches. Chimney Height = 5 inches. Chimney Diameter 2 3/4 inches. Antique, Highly Decorative Cast Iron Art Deco Wall Sconce Base
1920's or 1930's ornate. Floral patterned art deco cast iron wall sconce base stamped with the number'24' I have been told that this number indicates what size slip shade is required. It is not stamped with the manufacturer's name. The sconce can be hard wired into your electrical supply and operated with a wall switch, or it can be operated with the switch on the base itself. For the safest operation, it should be rewired and the socket should be replaced. This is an easy task that you can do yourself. The sconce base measures 8 1/4" high by 6 1/2" wide at the widest point. Maximum depth is about 3" The existing socket takes one light bulb with a regular sized base.

Offered are Two Vintage Art Deco Era Wall Sconces. The ceramic sconce measures approx. 6 ¾” tall by 4 ¼” wide. The metal sconce measures approx. 6 1/8” tall by 4 1/8” wide. Both have a few minor surface scuffs consistent with 80 to 100 year old antique fixtures. The metal sconce needs a socket. And both sconces need new wire.
