VINTAGE ITALIAN TOLE METAL CHANDELIER - YELLOW MAUVE FLOWERS
THis chandelier was in our house(built in 1920) when we moved in. I don't know the date. But the smallest brown tag on the left under the metal cap says Italy and had some numbers. It is made of metal and was working when it was removed. We took it down to use when we moved but it doesn't fit in the new house. It has 6 lights and measures 22 1/2" wide and 23" tall. The length from the cap to top of chandelier is about 8" It is shabby chic and very pretty, does need some detailed cleaning. It is beige in color with minty green colored leaves and yellow and mauve/rose colored flowers. It is all metal except for the sleeves around the light stems. THey are plastic. VINTAGE CAST WHITE METAL SIGNED"EMPIRE" CHANDELIER: This light has a lot of great classical detailing starting with the large bottom finial ringed with acanthus leaves and the lines radiating outward to a second ring of acanthus leaves. There are also large shields on each of the four sides. The painted finish is of a dark pewter color that contrasts nicely with the off white resin candle covers on the four candelabra size candle sockets. The chandelier is 18 1/4" in diameter and is approximately 25" from the bottom finial to the top of the ornate pierced ceiling canopy. The light is marked"EMPIRE PATENT PENDING" in eight places on the inside of the cast body. The four candles can take up to 60 watts each. The chandelier weighs 16 pounds.

This 5 arm chandelier is ornately decorated and the ceiling plate looks very similar to Mutual table lamp bases I've had in the past. Although no makers mark was found on this fixture. This fixture stands about 33" tall and 20" wide. The finish is original and appears worn with age. The bent arms are all intact and may require adjustments to sit level. Looking at the arms, I suspect that atleast one has been slightly bent unward although that may be an illusion. Although usable as is, this might be better suited as an easy restoration. Vintage Gothic Metal Candle Chandelier Large 116" Circumfrance
Up for auction a wonderful vintage chandelier.This auction is for a large chandelier there are four smaller ones if still avaliable as a bin. They were working the day before I purchased them they came from a restaurant and this large one is a pick up only. I am not sure of their exact age. First I will start by saying they are DUSTY and you will need to clean them I was afraid of getting any electrical areas wet that is why I did not want to clean them. Second they are a hammered metal and they may or may not have some scratches on them you may want to give them a coat of spray paint or keep as is. I would respray them using a hammered metal color.Also only on this large one when the men were loading it with no care they broke one of the light bulb sockets this will need replaced. I love the look of Gothic. Castle, mediterainian, of course ... moreI grew up in an old 1800's funeral home. You can also purchase the candle covers at lowes if you like. This measures 116" in circumference edge to edge to the outer cancel holder 50" accross. 35-3/4' inner circle rim to rim. the depth of the circle material is 4-9/16" 34" from the bottom to the top of the ceiling plate. If you look which is also included the restaurant had put two spot lights on the top you can remove or keep along with threaded rod extenders that allow the chandelier to be hung in a very tall hallway or foyer not shown but included are also two metal matching black poles that cover the threaded extenders and wires if hanging in a tall area.Really nicer than pic's. This Victorian Art Noveau Welsbach Polychrome Wrought Iron and cast Iron and Cast Metal Chandelier came out of an old house in Southern Virginia. It is all original with the original paint and original wiring. It is very ornate with its wrought iron scrolls and elaborate finials and ceiling plate. It has small flowers of metal at the bends of each scroll. The holders for the bulbs and globes are bell shaped and very ornate with a swirl finale atop each. I can't say enough about this beautiful chandelier. It measures 23" from the top plate to the bottom finial. It is about 22" across from light holder to light holder. The bottom ring is 12" across. This is a very large and heavy item. I had to hang it in a doorway with a rope to get a picture of it hanging. Weight 10.8 lbs. Looking for something unusual these tole ware lamps are typical french made from the 1920s through to the 1970s. All metal,you should always have these items checked by electrician before usage* bulbs not supplied, just standard screw in type 240 volt available as candle type in the uk 40/60 watts these measure 14 inchs tall to the top of hooks and then theres the chains which could be shortened or lenthened depending where its going, these have a span of 13 inchs all metal f lowers and leaves. Up for auction is this Vintage Hanging Chandelier 5 Light Victorian with cast metal arms and frame. Look at all the pictures as they describe it better than I can. The bulbs were removed and four out of the five still work. I have no way of testing the fixture itself. it has the old wiring all the way up through the ceiling hanger. Brass Reproduction Copy of a Turn of the Century Chandelier in Bi-Metal Finish
This brass chandelier has 8 hanging frosted glass shades(only 2 are showing) and four white candle covers. The candle covers are old antique glass, not plastic or metal. The center piece that holds the arms. The arms, and the plate that goes on ceiling are metal. The pieces above and below are made of wood. At one time the wood piece's were White. This has all chipped off. The ceiling plate has Rust, and there paint loss on the arms(please see all photo's for condition) The old wiring is still attached but should be replaced. Vtg 50s Mid Century Eames Ceiling Lamp Light Chandelier Halcolite Union Metal
An original metal ceiling lamp from the 1950's. In very good vintage condition with great coloring very minimal wear. Everything is original. I just dusted it off ~ it was my grandmothers and originally hung in her dining room. We replaced it with a another fixture. As we went with a different look. When we took it down a few years ago it worked like a champ, so I assume it still would. There is a partial sticker on the ceiling dome that has" Underwriters Halcolite. Inc. Issue B-215" along with some numbers& other words I can't make out ~ since some of the sticker is missing. There is also another label on the base that states" Union Made Affiliated with American Federation of Labor International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers A52502085 Reg U.S. Pat. Off. It is lovely. And features a large metal black shade, ... moredecorative brass ring with scrolling design at the top of the shade and also the brass base features the same design as the top ring. Glass chimney globe in center with decorative beaded top. It is approx 18" tall(from the gold top loop to the brass finial on the bottom) I am not including the ceiling dome or chain from which it hangs. If you include that it would be an additional 12" making it 30" in total length) Metal ceiling cap is 5" in diameter. Base of lamp shade measures 16.5" in diameter. Glass Hurricane/chimney is 9.5" I have shown. In the photos, the lamp apart as well as together. It has a porcelain socket that looks great& has a 60W light bulb installed. The wiring appears in good condition, a little light fraying in a few spots, but nothing bad. The metal shade looks great, with a few minor scratches, nothing that goes through the paint. Vintage Metal Chandelier Decorative Hanging Lamp Ceiling Light Fixture
This is a vintage metal chandelier hanging light fixture that measures 13" tall and 16" wide. I'm not sure what type of metal this is but it has a nice weight to it(5 1/2" lbs) It should have 39 hanging prisims but I did not get them when I purchased this item at a property auction. You could replace these or use the light as is. This light holds 5 bulbs and I used 40 watt candleabra bulbs in it. It has the wiring already run and was working when it was hanging. Antique French Gold Metal Chandelier could be Bronze
An Extraordinary Antique Gold Gilt Metal(could be Bronze) French Chandelier with Frosted Flambeau Center Light and Three Frosted Rose Lights in Beautiful Condition. This Chandelier was my Grandmothers and she purchased it at a dealer on the East Side of Manhattan in the 40's. She never new the age but in the 40's was told it was more than 100 years old. Could be Bronze but I really don't know. Chandelier starts with an original chain and a triple bow top and ball. From the ball are three twisted stems that attach to three Satin Glass Rosettes and Cascading Rose Buds and Leaves twisted around the stems. The Center is the Satin Glass Flambeau(Flame) Under the Flame is Acanthus Leaves and the metal is twisted like rope to bring together the three stems under the stems is what looks like an acorn in the center of the three stems. ... moreVery detailed and Lovely Chandelier. There is a ceiling cover but I do not believe it is original to the chandelier. The Glass Flame has a semicircle piece out of the base about 3/4" x 1/2" where is connects with screws to the metal but is not seen as it is under the lip and one screw is missing although it stays tight without it. Can easily be replaced. There are areas where the Gold Gilt has darkened but it only makes it look older. The Satin Glass Roses have darkened from the heat of the bulbs but not bad. Each Rose has a short white plastic candle holder for the bulbs which I'm sure are replacements. There are a few speckles of white paint. Antique Ceiling Hanging Light Fixture Chandelier 5-Bulb Electric Brass Metal
For your restoration pleasure. Here is a lovely antique ceiling fixture. Mixed metal construction, the socket covers, bottom body, and ceiling rose are brass, the arms are probably pot metal, and the upper body part is steel. It measures about 18" across at the sockets, hangs down approximately 16" from the ceiling to the end of the finial. All five sockets include the shade screws and the individual switches are intact and seem to work properly. The lamp will of course need to be rewired. And it has developed a fair amount of oxidation, tarnish, and finish loss. Other than that, the fixture is in remarkably solid condition, should restore to a show piece or could be enjoyed as found if you appreciate a shabby, original look. Vintage Italian Metal Floral Tole Chandelier Romantic Shabby Cottage Chic
Available is a vintage Italian metal floral lamp. I don't know the year it was made. But it is not new. I suspect this was made in the 1950s or early 1960s, judging from the style and the ornate filigree border on the top. The lamp is in good shape but needs a good cleaning. It measures about 22 inches tall from the top of the ring that the chandelier is hung from the ceiling to the bottom of the lamp. The shade is metal and measures 19 inches across the bottom and 11 inches across the top opening. The shade is NOT removable. I don't know if the lamp works. As it must be wired into the wall to use it. I can't just plug it in to find out if it works or not. It needs a very good cleaning.
