Exceptional design in this Lightolier vintage 1970s import made by the well known German firm Glashutte Limburg. These would look great in many modern interiors. Impressive blown glass modern bell shade measures 12" tall, 11 1/4" diameter. Bold green color case with white, just as Emeralite used to create. Suspended by a heavy cord and three black bolts(one has allen bolts, may or may not be original, but looks very close) White cord has yellowed with smoke, you either clean them or replace with new, in a custom length for your location. Glass is excellent, no chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs. As you can see, there's 4 available, doubt they'll last long as a large set, so how many would you like? It is very large with over all height being 13 1/2" from ceiling to bottom of light, and the bottom of the glass part being about 12" across. It has the ceiling mount(which was painted a gold color and might want to strip or repaint) short chain then the large beehive style white milk glass globe and then the chrome/ aluminum ring that slips down over the globe. This can be used with the ring or without. It is in great condition with just some normal wear to the aluminum ring and the mount could be repainted if desired but the glass globe/ shade is in great condition with no chips or cracks. The glass shade is all intact with no cracks or chips. The vintage brass socket is marked"WEBER PATENTS 250W 250V" and accepts a standard base bulb(bulb not included) The 2 1/4" UNO fitter is patented Dec 24. 1912. Unusual Antique/Vintage Royal-Blue INDUSTRIAL Enameled Hanging Light Fixture
I think this color in an industrial-type enameled steel light fixture is pretty rare. It has some chips to the enamel and a little surface rust. But that only adds to the charm! Deep royal blue, with a white interior; it has the original porcelain bulb socket, but will need to be rewired. There are four holes near the top, not sure why? Heavy-gauge steel with thick, genuine fired-on glass enamel, it has a rolled edge and is very sturdy. Measures 14.5" in diameter and is 9" tall. This auction is for a PAIR of original c.1940 Holophane ceiling fixtures. Brass stems are in original age appropriate condition with slight tarnish. Shades are in fabulous condition with a possible flea bite hear and there. The original metal(probably tin or aluminum) covers are slightly mishapen and can be remedied with 2 thumbs. The brass column provides great aesthetic appeal with the contrasting colors of metals. Height from top of stem to bottom of shade is approximately 45" Original electric wires seem ok. HARD TO FIND ANTIQUE CAST BRASS& CUSTARD GLASS INDUSTRIAL CEILING FIXTURE! Outstanding estate piece.cast brass and metal ceiling fixture with a custard glass shade embellished with gilt decoration. No hairlines or cracks. Fabulous style and design from the industrial era. Shade glows under black light indicative of it's vaseline glass cousins. We do have a split it the upper tin or brass vent area at the top of the main body.we have posted a photo for you. Will not harm usage. Bottom acorn finial appears to be cast copper or just carries a copper finish. Currently the fixture carries a re-wired cord which is quite long.easily removable to allow for direct wire to your ceiling mount. Main f ixture itself measures in at about 21" from the brass top hanging ring to the bottom of the acorn finial. Great repurposed set of vintage spoked wagon wheels. They are about 8" in diameter and are ready for installation. They have a loop on the back so you can attach a chain or rope for drop lighting. Each one has a turn knob on each socket so they can be wired from a light switch or to be turned on and off manually. The wheels have been clear coated to keep that great rustic look and the socket has been painted black so it blends in better. Fixture hangs apprx. 56" from the ceiling. Shade is 7-12" tall(excluding fitter cap) 14" inches in diameter with a 6" diameter lipped fitter cap. Glass Milk Shade is in very nice condition, no chips or cracks. Hardware is brass in color. Hardware is good no dents or damage. Nice industrial light fixture. This light was salvaged from a local church that is being remodeled. I have another one this size if you have need for a pair. FOR AUCTION: AN ANTIQUE SCHOOL HOUSE HANGING LIGHT. THE MILK GLASS SHADE IS APPROX: 14 INCHES WIDE BY 8 INCHES TALL. THE COPPER CEILING AND SHADE CUPS w/ CHAIN ARE APPROX: 13 INCHES LONG. THE CEILING CUP HAS A DIAMETER OF 5 1/2 INCHES. THE SHADE CUP HAS 3 SUPPORT TABS FOR THE GLOBE AND A COPPER RING WHICH COVERS THE SHADE TOP. IT APPEARS THAT THE ORIGINAL WIRING HAS BEEN REPLACED. THE ORIGINAL PORCELAIN SOCKET IS INTACT. FIXTURE AND SHADE ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH JUST A FEW SMALL RIM CHIPS TO THE SHADE OPENING. THESE ARE COVERED BY THE COPPER RING AND DON'T SHOW.
