Circa first quarter of the 20th century, though it looks like it was rewired since its creation. The base is cast iron gilt and bronzed, paw footed. It has six bent/bowed glass panels held in place with bronze open relief dividers and ring. We did not see a signature on it though it has many of the attributes of Miller slag glass lamps. Only one of the two sockets works, but oh so gorgeous! It measures approx. 25" tall, the shade is 16" across and 8" tall. WONDERFUL! I believe the top hardware is replaced, but both pulls are working smoothly. You will need hardware to attach a shade. There are no cracks, or breaks. You can see the mold line running through the feathers toward the bottom, and there is some finish wear, including a spot that looks like a paint drip. This a fabulous and extremely rare form, unfortunately it is not signed to identify a maker, but it was definitely done in the era of Tiffany, Handel, Pittsburgh and the other fine makers of that time. Measures about 20 3/4" tall and weighs about 6 3/4 pounds as it is right now. Shipping charges include insurance and signature confirmation.

Vintage 4/8 Panel slag Glass Fixture Hall Veranda with Brass
Vintage slag glass beige/ caramel panels fitted together with sturdy brass. The large panels measure 6-1/2" wide by 6" tall and the small panels above them measure 3-3/4" wide by 1-1/4" tall. There are 4 large panels and 4 small panels. The overall length of the light from the canopy to the bottom of the large slag piece measures 9-3/4" There is no damage on this light that I can see. The wiring even looks to be intact. There is a copper plate on the interior where the socket is. Additionally. The socket is encased in a gold-colored metal round section. Would make a perfect ceiling light for an enclosed porch or patio area, or for a hallway. I will package this very carefully for shipment. My preferred shipper for smaller lighting is via USPS. I recommend not shipping smaller fragile packages via UPS at this time.
