A very elegant late Victorian bag chandelier displaying a combination of 141 octagonal buttons. Losenge droplets and one base rosette. A superior quality chandelier. With a solid brass hoop frame displaying classical foliate decoration, and a corona of six droplets suspended from the hoop. With a total drop of just over one foot. It is large enough to sit comfortably below a 40-50 inch wide ceiling rose, in any medium sized room. Measures 10 inches wide at the top. Catches the light beautifully and throws around spectrum coloured patterns. All crystals are in excellent order. One small amount of crazing on minor button the point of the brass link wire hole. But robust and difficult to find even under good light and close scrutiny. My camera struggled to pick it out, such is the impact. Mentioned purely for completeness. Weighty. There is a chip from the top metal hook, some tiny nicks from the glass, some dirty and dusty marks. We are pleased to offer this fabulous chandelier! Dating to the Mid Century. This fixture features exceptional quality and is extremely heavy. It has a brilliant brass frame that features both straight lines as well as curves. There are four curved upper arms which connect to and support the fixture. The body of the chandlier feature 8 panel design. Brilliant brass separates the glass panels. The glass is very thick and is curved inward(concave) It is deeply etched/engraved on the top, down the sides, on the bottom with a linear, tri-cut design. The glass panels are held to the curved brass frame with a screw on their upper sections as well as their lower. The brass frame is accented on each panel with an acorn finial both on the upper and lower sections. The ornate center column is brass with an incised twist pattern. It is finished with ... morean acorn finial on the bottom. There are a total of 17 acorn finials on the fixture! There are eight arms which curve upward from the bottom of the fixture. Each arm houses a single bulb which are candlestick in design. The candle sleeve covers are also brass, not plastic. The fixture retains its original octagon brass ceiling canopy cover. This is an upper end fixture. The quality is superb and the chandelier is simply stunning! It is in very good condition with only minor signs of aging to the brass. The wiring is in very good condition and the fixture is ready to install. The chandelier is LARGE and measures 26" tall and is 17.75" in diameter. Up for auction is a pre-owned Vintage all brass CHANDELIER ceiling light fixture with 4 outside lights and 1 center light with the dome center frosted and cut glass shade. The light fixture is all brass but have some of the areas painted a tan or light brown color. Light have 4 heavy cast brass ornate 4-light chandelier arm with the flat on/off knobs( knobs are marked BRYANT) Light has a 20" long chain and the domed ceiling mount cover cap. All the fixture shades are frosted with cut in detailed design( cut in design is the clear glass) and gives off a soft. Warm glow when lit. BULBS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION! I cannot find a signature on the light. SIZE: Approximately 20 1/2" across the arms and 47" from the domed ceiling mount cover to the bottom of the shade. The 4 outside smaller shades are 5" from top to bottom ... moreoutside, top of these shades are 1 7/8" on the inside and 2 3/16" aross to the outside. The bottom of the 4 smaller shades are 3 1/2" across to the inside and 3 3/4" aross to the outside. The big center dome shade is 9 1/2" across the inside and 9 3/4" aross to the outside, and approx. 5 1/2' deep. CONDITION:I was real careful when I tried the light because of fraded and bare wires, but all the light sockets worked as shown in the pictures. The light DOES HAVE SOME CRACKS IN BRASS AROUND THE RIMS OF THE 4 OUTSIDE LIGHT, WHERE THE SHADE SCREWS ARE LOCATED, I do not think that these small crack will hurt any thing because when screwed in tight they hold the shades firmly in place. THERE IS ALSO A CRACK IN THE ADJUSTABLE TUBE, THAT ATTACH TO THE HOUSE CEILING FIXTURE(SEE PICTURES)All the shades are free of any cracks, but all have some light roughness, small flea bites around the top rims which cannot be seen when the shades are placed properly in the frame. Vintage Chain with Brass Hook For Light or Chandelier or 1930's type glass shade
Vintage/ antique chain with hook for hanging a light shade or similar. The top/ hook is brass and unscrews. I gave it a light polish so I could see what it is made of. It will polish up a lot more. I don't know if the chain is brass or some kind of metal. I haven't attempted to clean it. The hanging hook isn't the finest moulding I've seen. Please use the photos as part of the descriptipion. The chandelier itself measures 36 inches tall and weighs 20 lbs. unpacked. This chandelier is a beauty! Formerly a gas light. It is fully restored and electric addes. The only imperfection is a slight chip on one of the etched shades as shown in the close up picture. You will also note that the edges of the shades vary slightly even though they appear to be just alike. The chandelier measures approximately 31 1/2" tall by 32 inches wide. 4 NUART Art Deco Carnival Glass Shades On 4 Arm Brass Antique Chandelier Fixture
This is a wonderful antique brass and frosted glass shade 4 arm chandelier with 4 matching NUART Art Deco carnival glass shades. I believe it dates from the 1920s or 1930s. The shades have a beautiful amber color. They each have a fluted pattern on the inside of the shade. They have lightly etched grapes and leaves. Each is marked on the rim NUART. There are no chips or cracks on any of them. However. One of them has tiny thin scratches on the inside around the middle. The only way I can describe them is that someone tried to fit a lightbulb in it that was too big and it made tiny scratch marks along the inside. Unfortunately, I was unable to photograph them. The shades alone could be used for a FRANKART lamp or fixture also. The brass fixture is not marked with a maker's name. The arms have a great Art Deco pattern. It is in very good ... morecondition for its age except that it has a number of tiny 1/8 inch cracks along the rim on top. Approximately 15 of them. They look to have been there for a long time and do not look like they will break any more as the brass is securely fastened to the other piece of brass. It's a very sturdy piece. It also has a wonderful etched frosted glass center dome. The dome has some little dark marks on it and some dirt around the rim which I could not get off. But which don't show much. There is a tiny chip on the lip, approximately 1/4 inch wide. There are a few other flea bites around the rim which do not affect its structure. The shades are each approximately 5 1/2 inches tall(14 cm) Their main opening is 3 7/8 inches wide(9.8 cm) The fitter openings are 2 1/4 inches across(5.7 cm) The frosted glass dome is 12 inches wide(31 cm) It is 5 1/2 inches deep(14 cm) It's lip measures 9 7/8 inches across(25 cm) The main brass fixture is 21 inches wide(53 cm) The round part is 13 inches wide(33 cm) It measures 32 inches from the top of the ceiling attachment to the bottom of the shades(81 cm) I believe it was rewired within the last 30 years. The metal part that touches the ceiling is 10.25 wide and the light overall hangs down 7.5 inches.

VINTAGE NOUVEAU WOOD CHANDELIER BRASS SCROLL FLOWER ARMS GLASS SHADES ROSES
We are pleased to offer this fabulous. Vintage chandelier. This gorgeous fixture dates to the 1970s and is an Art Nouveau Revival chandelier. The chandelier features a turned wood(walnut) columnar body and 5 brass arms. The arms are exceptionally designed with Nouveau or Aesthetic curves and scrolls. The arms are opened in design, not solid. They are accented with large flowers, also accomplished with an opened design. The chandelier is a down light fixture. Each arm houses a large, frosted glass globe shade. The shades have a large, fluted pattern in that they have concave sections. They have a band of large roses which are embossed into the glass. There is also a beaded design. Their housing is brass. The chandelier has a large hanging ring finial just above the wooden column and a small brass bottom finial. It retains the original wiring ... moreand hanging chain as well as the original ceiling cover/canopy. The canopy is also embossed with a floral medallion. This is a beautiful fixture. The wood has a medium stain and the brass has an antiqued finish. The chandelier is in very good condition with only very minor signs of age/use. There are some light scuffs to the wood, but nothing distracting. The brass a few"age spots" but they are very minor. The glass is good with some very minor areas of wear to the frosted finish. Their fitters have the appropriate wear. The wiring is original but in good condition. There is not a manufacturer's sticker or stamp but the vintage yellow UL sticker is still present. We purchased two of these chandeliers from the same auction. They have the same wood and brass designs but the shades are different. Each chandelier is listed separately. The chandelier measures 18" tall. It is 20" in diameter with the shades attached and 17" without the shades on the fixture. The shades are 6" tall. We are pleased to offer this beautiful and unique Mid Century brass chandelier. This fixture has elements of Arts& Crafts Mission. Art Deco and Mid Century design. The chandelier features ornate, pierced brass bands under each socket as well as on the top of the fixture. The chandelier has a flared body. There are 5 arms of twisted brass that connect the upper chandelier to the light sockets. The arms pass through the horizontal brass band at the bottom section of the fixture. Inside of the arms is a large, brass, bell shaped"inner body" This feature houses a single, large, flood light bulb for down lighting. Each arm houses a single candelabra style bulb. A decorative bottom finial completes each arm. The chandelier has a slip shade design. There are 5 hurricane style, glass slip shades that rest on each arm. The shades are ... morea very delicate glass. They are a soft, almost clear shade with a slight hint of gold. In direct light, the shades are an iridescent, brilliant gold color. This is a fabulous chandelier. It is in very good condition. The brass is an antiqued brass color with some aged patina. The shades are very good with no chips or cracks. The wiring is vintage but in very good condition and the chandelier is in working order. The chandelier retains the original ceiling cover/canopy. Inside the canopy is a yellow UL sticker. There is also either a manufacturer's or retailers sticker which reads"Carson Lighting, Santa Fe Springs, CA" The chandelier is 17" in height(excluding chain and ceiling canopy) It is 21.5" in diameter without the glass shades and 22" with the shades in place. There is an 18" section of original brass chain included. Counting the chaing and the ceiling canopy. The chandelier is 36" in height to ceiling. The glass shades are 6.25" tall. The brass is lightly hammered for texture and floral medallions further accent the chandelier. The circular frame houses 5 arms/lights which extend outward from the frame in candlestick fashion. The original, seeded, clear glass shades are present and in good condition with no chips, cracks, etc. Scrolled brass attaches to the circular frame and extends below the frame for interest.
