Same pattern but the canopies on this pair are slightly different in size. The pair on the right is for Martha. They have smaller E-25 shades. The shades on this pair as pictured are XE-40 which match the double sconces. If you prefer the smaller E-25 Holophanes on your pair then I will ship that model instead. They are all brass from around 1912 plus. Please see the other listings if you need more sconces or pendants to match these. The shades for these are period Holophanes. Some of the shades for these sconces have rib fleabites no worse than the ones by my fingers in the pictures. These wall lamps have been washed. Paint and most dings removed, and waxed. ... moreThe canopy bell is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and will cover a standard outlet box. Sterling Bronze Company Antique Wall Sconces
Antique wall sconces from the early 20th century(Remains Lighting Company of New York has estimated the age to be circa 1900-1910) These are a pair of solid brass wall sconces from the famous"Sterling Bronze Company" of New York. Late 1800's- early 1900's. They are Baluster form. Double light sconces in their original finish. They have fluted arms and turned wax pans/ candle cups. Their approximate dimensions are. Height 17 1/4" width 10 3/4" depth 6 1/4" Their weight is approximately 7 pounds each(total 14 pounds) They are in very good condition. But there is some wear that you would expect from an antique. Their patina is slightly worn in some areas. There are a few random paint"sprinkles" from a house repaint in the 1960's. The back side of one of the sconces is missing the back wall hook/holder ... moreand as a solution to hanging the sconce safely, a small hole was drilled at the top of the sconce to hang it on the wall securely(see picture) Rewiring the wall sconces would also be advisable, although they were in working condition when they were last attached to the wall before removal. These beautiful solid brass wall sconces came from an eleven bedroom mansion located along the Historic Main Line in Rosemont Pennsylvania. The architect of this mansion was Frank H. I closed my antique shop and ended up with quite a bit of inventory that I will be listing along with much of my personal collection including some very nice Fostoria American. They are in the form of a bow with trailing ribbons with a curved fluted arm holding pretty crimped and frilled glass lampshades that have a lovely soft peachy tint around the bottom. The gilt bronze has a wonderful warm aged finish which could be polished brighter if required. Both the shades are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. They have been re-wired at some time and are in good working order. Description These are two antique bronze wall sconces with cherubs. They are not exactly the same. The cherubs are sitting on a scalloped base with leaves on one and leaves and a bird on the other. Please check the pictures to see all the differences. The two arms are a darker bronze. I don't know if they are original to the pieces or were added. I purchased them at an estate sale on the north shore of Long Island. Each measures 13" wide and 12" tall. They have been rewired and are in working condition but as with any electrical item they should be checked before installation as wires or screws can loosen during shipping. ANTIQUE / VINTAGE PAIR OF BRONZE BRASS 2 LIGHT ART DECO WALL SCONCES
For your bidding is a gorgeous pair of Art Deco 2 Light wall sconces. The backs which are 7" in diameter are brass grating with a brass plate in the back that has been painted white. Each sconce has two lights/candles that are 6 1/2" tall with the original sleeves and pull changes to turn on and off(all working) The total length of each sconce is 9 1/2" The arms of the lights have swirled detailed designs and reach out 6 1/2" from the wall. The back plates of the sconces are held on by three nuts. There is a metal bar in which to hang them. They have the original wiring which looks to be in good condition. All parts are originals. There is a small amount of paint residue from years of remodels around the back edge of the lights that can easily be removed. There are some very minor dings but no damage that stands out. They are old not new. T he Paulding porcelain and brass paddle switch sockets are new old stock and have a strong click that will outlast any that are currently made. Antique Set (4) 2 pairs French Bronze Louis XVI 3 arm Wall Sconces Circa 1910
Up for consideration is a fine set of 4 or 2 pair of Antique French Wall Sconces. The sconces date from about 1910 or so and measure 14 1/2 inches tall by about 10 inches by 5 inches deep. This set consists of 3 arms on each piece with great casting and super casting. As with good fine quality French Sconces they are cast in many separate pieces. The backplate consists of 3 separate pieces. There is a lacey bowtie top cascading down and tying into the top of the torch with descending bell flowers in the center body of the torch. These really show great attention to detail that is not fully demonstrated in the photos as the sconces are dark in patination. If you have any questions or concerns please email.
