Antique Solid Brass Pendant Light Fixture with Painted Glass Shades
This darling antique brass pendant light is a Vintporium favorite. The fixture has a drop of 34 inches and a width of 14 inches. The fixture features new cloth covered wiring. New mounting bracket, and new socket guts while keeping the old socket casings. The fixture has a solid brass ceiling pan, solid brass shade fitters and an antique brass painted steel chain. The shades are a wonderful frosted and painted glass. This is an old piece and is showing its antiquity with inconsistencies in the brass finish, aging spots in the ceiling pan, some tarnishing in the steel chain, a couple of very small superficial chips on the bottom rim of the glass shades and a little scuffing on the top of the shades(all of which are pretty common to old fixtures) Suitable for dry locations. One lot of Two HUGE Reverse painted puffy glass shades for light fixtures!!
Up for bid is one lot of two HUGE reverse painted. Puffy, translucent glass shades that appear to be from the first half of the 1900's! These shades are 9 inches tall, have an inside diameter of 14 inches at the widest point, a small opening of 1 5/8 inches inside diameter and the large opening of 11 1/4 inches inside diameter. Each unit has two"v" cuts out of the glass that are 2 inches deep and 5 inches wide. The glass is 3/16 to 1/4 inches thick. No visible cracks or serious chips. We do not want to say they are perfect as they do show some wear from use and age. We could not find a makers mark or an artists mark on these globes. We are not sure of the age of the items or the origin. We are not sure if the units are intended for a floor lamp type of fixture or designed to be in a ceiling fixture. American Chandelier Light Fixture with 3 Matching Hand Painted Glass Shades
Lighting Fixture with 3 Reverse Hand Painted Shades. Hanging Lamp. This is also referred to a a drop ceiling light. The solid brass center dish is 12" diameter. The shades are 5" tall by 4 1/4" diameter. Original finish on all brass pieces. The finish needs a good polishing. To be safe, the wiring needs to be checked before hanging. The matched set of three antique reverse painted shades are in excellent condition with no paint loss but a few flea bites along the bottom edge The exterior of the shade is frosted and the interior has a very nice windmill farm scene which is hand painted. The drop from the ceiling for this hanging lamp can be lengthened or shortened by adding or subtracting from the three support chains. See photos. Please view the photos for close up condition. Antique Set of Hand Painted Satin Frosted Glass Lamp Shades? or Chimneys?
This sensational set can be used as lamp shades or even probably lamp chimneys. There is one that has a chip in the top ruffle( see pic) All have the normal roughness on the base where they set in the lamp. Please view all photos for sizes. ANTIQUE PAN 3 LIGHT BRASS CHANDELIER WITH PAINTED SATIN GLASS SHADES, VG COND
This is an all brass Pan chandelier with 3 glass shades in very good working condition. The globes are satin white with green painted florets and are in excellent condition. The lamp measures 29 inches high and is 17 inches wide. Good Luck in Your Bidding!
