It looks like the person before me was trying to clean them up, one is in its totally original state, the other has been lightly cleaned, the most obvious evidence of this is in the fourth photo, they really shined up that part, then got some white paint on it, this is the only area of any sort of issue, I think the paint can be removed easily enough- The metal is a silver pewter sort of color. With lightly painted details- The light bulbs would hand on the underside. This needs to be re-wired, I have photographed the original cloth covered wires- The part where you screw in the light bulbs looks really good. Copper parts and it looks like maybe these have been replaced, but not sure they look really clean inside- you will need 2 screws to re-connect the part where it attaches to the ceiling on one of them- each chandelier measures 17" across. 22" hanging- PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS FOR CONDITION. Item is 15" wide& that center piece measures 6" top to bottom. Hopefully this helps with specs. Pic one is the side you will see looking up at the ceiling. Pic two is the underside that faces the ceiling. So is pick 3. Item will neeed some re-assembly specifically the part I can not figure out how to screw back into the base I am holding up in pic 2. It will also need re-wiring. At the end of the chain link there is another piece that would screw into something. I'm guessing your ceiling mount. Needs some parts but the metal work is as ornate and fancy as it gets. It needs a shade with a 14" fitter. I think the one brass part you see on the table is the smoke cap that hangs below the motor. No chimney or wick. Missing a few nuts. The motor mechanism for raising and lowering works good with a good strong spring. The only place I see it signed is on the burner nob marked Made in America Patent pending or Apd For-I forget which and have it packed. Hand painting is nice. No chips or cracks to the glass. None of the metal work is twisted or broken. I didn't attempt to shine anything. I believe the age is 1870's to 1880's. I have disassembled it some for shipping to keep the metal work from getting twisted and the motor and the burner assembly with font are both individually boxed with everything being in a larger box ... morethat gets charged dimensional weight. Antique Brass & Cast Iron Art Deco Chandelier 5 Sockets Hanging Cluster Light
Here we have an Art Deco hanging chandelier that holds 5 bulbs. This is an antique lamp that is brass and cast iron. The soceket cups and the shaft of the fixture are brass and the center star and circle are cast iron. The chain on this chandelier is a more recent vintage chain but could be easily replaced with one that would go better with the age of this lamp. As you can see it is in good condition but there is some wear to this lamp the worst of it shown in the last photo. This chandelier is about 15 inches in diameter and has a turn switch in the center that can turn the lights on and off. I would recomend re-wireing this before installation. Mounted in a painted brass holder, and is in good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass. The bulb holder is a standard UK bayonet clip type. Antique Cast Aluminum/Cut Glass Hanging Light Fixture Chandelier 3-Socket
Up for auction is an antique hanging light fixture/chandelier. I believe it's made mostly of cast aluminum(but not positive) with a white and gold finish. Most of it is not magnetic. The parts the sockets sit in are magnetic, so they probably are cast iron. The upper part is cut glass that is actually 2 pieces. I got this at an estate. Have no idea if it works, no way of testing it. Needs some light cleaning. Appears to have the original wiring. Has 3 sockets that take regular size bulbs. It's in very good condition considering it's age. No chips. Cracks or breaks that I can see in the metal part. The glass part on the top piece has a couple of chips. One of the pictures shows them. The spot they are in makes them not too noticeable. Has some scuffs, but not bad. The ruffled rim ... moreis not cut as deep as the rest. One shade does have a small crack in it. These shades are not old and are common and were put on here to finish the look. Up for auction is this Vintage Hanging Chandelier 5 Light Victorian with cast metal arms and frame. Look at all the pictures as they describe it better than I can. Vintage Mission Gothic Church Iron Chandelier Hanging light Fixture (7 lights)
Up for sale is a Vintage Medieval Gothic Mission Church Chandelier 6 Light Hanging Fixture. The fixture looks like iron with a copper or brass inlay. It's an extremely well made fixture. The quality is excellent. It weighs about 13 pounds. It's in excellent working condition and the wiring looks to be in great shape. The fixture has an aged, vintage patina. The iron has a bit of rust which comes off quite easily, the rest of the fixture is intact, some of the panels on the inside have lost some of the metal where the screws come through, but the construction is still quite sturdy. In the center of each of the 6 panels is a piece of amber glass which shows up when the inside light comes on with the other 6 ... morecandle typle light sockets. Vintage Metal Chandelier Decorative Hanging Lamp Ceiling Light Fixture
This is a vintage metal chandelier hanging light fixture that measures 13" tall and 16" wide. I'm not sure what type of metal this is but it has a nice weight to it(5 1/2" lbs) It should have 39 hanging prisims but I did not get them when I purchased this item at a property auction. You could replace these or use the light as is. This light holds 5 bulbs and I used 40 watt candleabra bulbs in it. It has the wiring already run and was working when it was hanging. Vintage Art Deco Hanging Ceiling Chandelier Pendant Dining Light Fixture~Unique!
Here is a really uniquely designed Antique Hanging Ceiling Light Fixture. Definitely one of my favorites! This fixture is from 30's or 40's and is a cream color with chrome accents. It hangs from a ceiling medallion and also has a cream rod between. Measures approx. 15" in diameter and 13" to the top of the rod. There is an additional 15" to the top of the ceiling plate. You can add more or less chain as desired. Still has the cloth wire so it will need to be rewired. It looks like a fairly simple fixture to rewire. You will find tiny chips along the interior of the glass(doesn't show once placed inside) You will also find a few spots of paint that has rubbed off along the edge. Not too bad for such an old fixture in original condition. The glass is in very nice shape it is silver in color not sure of the material it is made of but my magnet does not stick to any part of this piece. it measures 17-18 inches long from top mounting piece to the bottom. all of the glass panels have white designs not sure if you call it etched or not but it looks nice. very ornate light with good details!
