Antique Vintage Original Art Deco c. 30's Chandelier Porcelain& Crystals Glass Shade#230. Up for bidding is this AMAZING Original Art Deco. C. 1930's Chandelier, refurbished! It has a gorgeous cream colored column AND ceiling cap made of porcelain that is beautifully painted with floral motif and accented with gold.This was made by the famous Porcelier Company and it's rare to find the chandelier body and ceiling cap together. And in such fine condition. It is paired with this very nice, pale, sort of creamy beige-ish pink glass shade that is ribbed and scalloped and has no damage at all as far as chips. Cracks or scratches. Does show nicks in the paint. Normal wear for age, mainly around the flat bottom part of the shade, around the finial. I have shown this in the last 3 pics. You can barely see it. Can't see it at all ... morefrom a few feet away. To refurbish this beauty I had to rewire it and replace the sockets with new porcelain sockets because the wires and sockets were in poor condition. However the fixture housing, etc is original. The brass loop and finial and even the heavy duty chain and screw loops are untouched. I couldn't resist adding an antique cut crystal bobeche and 5 large teardrop crystals(brand new and sparkly! FRANCE 1920'S MOULDED GLASS CHANDELIER, CENTER LIGHT SHADE SUPERB JEAN NOVERDY CHANDELIER This beautiful center light shade or chandelier was produced by Jean Noverdy in France during the 1920's. The moulded glass is in a pattern of clam shells in a beautiful peachy pink with a slight pearlised effect to the glass. The shade is clearly marked Noverdy France Depose. The shade hangs form three internal hooks on chains which then attach to a central ceiling rose. The chains and hooks are original. These have suffered some discolouration to the metal, but new chain can be purchased quite easily should you wish to change it. The ceiling pendent is new in an antique finish. The shade measures 34.7cm in diameter. There are a few chips and flakes to the underside of the rim. Up for auction is a pre-owned Vintage all brass CHANDELIER ceiling light fixture with 4 outside lights and 1 center light with the dome center frosted and cut glass shade. The light fixture is all brass but have some of the areas painted a tan or light brown color. Light have 4 heavy cast brass ornate 4-light chandelier arm with the flat on/off knobs( knobs are marked BRYANT) Light has a 20" long chain and the domed ceiling mount cover cap. All the fixture shades are frosted with cut in detailed design( cut in design is the clear glass) and gives off a soft. Warm glow when lit. BULBS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION! I cannot find a signature on the light. SIZE: Approximately 20 1/2" across the arms and 47" from the domed ceiling mount cover to the bottom of the shade. The 4 outside smaller shades are 5" from top to bottom ... moreoutside, top of these shades are 1 7/8" on the inside and 2 3/16" aross to the outside. The bottom of the 4 smaller shades are 3 1/2" across to the inside and 3 3/4" aross to the outside. The big center dome shade is 9 1/2" across the inside and 9 3/4" aross to the outside, and approx. 5 1/2' deep. CONDITION:I was real careful when I tried the light because of fraded and bare wires, but all the light sockets worked as shown in the pictures. The light DOES HAVE SOME CRACKS IN BRASS AROUND THE RIMS OF THE 4 OUTSIDE LIGHT, WHERE THE SHADE SCREWS ARE LOCATED, I do not think that these small crack will hurt any thing because when screwed in tight they hold the shades firmly in place. THERE IS ALSO A CRACK IN THE ADJUSTABLE TUBE, THAT ATTACH TO THE HOUSE CEILING FIXTURE(SEE PICTURES)All the shades are free of any cracks, but all have some light roughness, small flea bites around the top rims which cannot be seen when the shades are placed properly in the frame. Vintage/ antique chain with hook for hanging a light shade or similar. The top/ hook is brass and unscrews. I gave it a light polish so I could see what it is made of. It will polish up a lot more. I don't know if the chain is brass or some kind of metal. I haven't attempted to clean it. The hanging hook isn't the finest moulding I've seen. Please use the photos as part of the descriptipion. Very nice light fixture. Featuring an antique glass shade of clear and satin textured glass, the textured part has a very light peach beige color, very nice. Bubble edge on shade, glass insert at the canopy is also bubble design, with tulip shaped glass inserts on the rod. Finished off with new glass ball finial. The shade has no cracks or chips, it does have a few very light scratches and a bit of paint(both pictured) which I believe is a production flaw since it matches the beige textured paint. These flaws are very hard to see and will not affect the appearance of the light when installed. New 2 cluster socket and wiring, works perfectly. Sockets will take 60 watt bulbs each, so this can put out 120 watts if needed. Small bits of varnish are missing, and the varnish has aged overall to the point that the socket cups read almost as silver rather than gold. Pair Vintage Art Deco Hanging Ceiling Light Fixture Chandelier Cased Glass Shade
These are a matching Pair of Antique Hanging Lights or Chandeliers with matching cased glass orange shades. They are in very good condition. There is some paint on the ceiling mounts that need to be cleaned off. There are no chips or cracks to the shades but there is a spot that has been ground down on the rim around the fitter on one shade. It is hardly noticeable and undetected when put into the ring. The shades are cased with orange and white faded colors on the outside and white on the inside. The shades are 4"long x 5"wide. The light hangs down 18" to the socket and 24" to the bottom of the shade.
