The chandelier is arrange in two tiers. The first crystal is a rose cut crystal with a dropper crystal underneath and measures approximately overall 8" outside diameter and a drop of 9" excluding the chains. All of the crystals appear to original and in place with none missing. The crystals also appear to be in good order. however some of the tips have tiny chips to them you have to look really close and I am not sure if this was made in manufactureWhat would seem to be the original 3 hook ceiling rose is present. The bands are made of brass and the top band has a flower and leaf motif running around the circumference. The top band has 5 ... morebrass leave coming off the top of the ring. Each of these leaves has again a two part dropper as above, again in good order. The brass work does show signs of tarnishing due to the age of the item. Besides the wiring being cut. Missing a few crystal prisms, and one white candle sleeve, this chandelier is in very good clean condition concerning all pieces. It is a antique brass with 5 arm lights& 5 curled arms on top for crystal prisms. There is the ceiling cap& also the bottom for the chandelier. The color/finish is consistent throughout& there is no damage to any of the parts. There are 7 3" crystal prisms. It looks like the top 5 arms would each hold 2 prisms. For your consideration I am offering a vintage chandelier that I believe dates to the 1920/30s/40s. This piece has been meticulously washed with brush and soap. Adjusted, rewired, canopy/chain polished and lacquered. Ready to install, finest quality crystal with all original prisms, no replacements. The height from top of canopy to bottom of crystal is 19" and the dome is 9" wide. This is as close to new as you could ever expect to find in a vintage basket style fixture. All wires and prism chains have been cleaned and arranged for optimum appearance and form. Chain and canopy are not plated steel but solid brass. I have this beautiful old chandelier up for auction. This is a single bulb chandelier. There are total of 76 prisms on it. This chandelier is an used item and it might have some rust, discoloration, dirt, paint, missing parts and other damages and issues, and some of the glass prisms might have small chips and cracks. I have not tested, inspected or cleaned this chandelier, and i don't know from materials its made of. This chandelier might have old wiring, and it might need to be rewiered by a proffesional before being used. It hangs down 33” from the ceiling to the bottom of the chandelier. I can increase the hanging length or shorten it for you“ Free of charge of coarse“ The original crystals are still there but quite a few had to be replaced with newer identical ones.
