I DON'T KNOW THE MAKER OR THE EXACT AGE, BUT THESE ARE LIKELY FROM THE LATE 1920s OR 1930s. THEY HAVE A CIRCULAR FITTER THAT HAS AN OUTSIDE MEASUREMENT OF 1 5/8 INCHES. EACH SHADE IS ABOUT 6 1/2 INCHES TALL IN THE FRONT; 4 1/4 INCHES TALL IN THE BACK; 4 5/8 INCHES ACROSS AT THE WIDEST POINT; AND ABOUT 4 1/2 INCHES DEEP. Up for sale this beautiful pair of Victorian style gas. Oil, or electric lamp shades as shown. Mounting rim outside diameter is a little less than 1 5/8ths inches, so these would fit a 1 5/8ths to 1 3/4 inch fixture. Glass has an acid etch frosted finish on the outside, except for the grapes and vines, and smooth on the inside. Nice scalloped tops. Reduced Rare Art Nouveau Crafts Large Cut Glass Dome Chandelier 3 Frosted Shades
Hello. Welcome to our auction of this original Art nouveau brass chandelier with large central frosted& cut glass dome and 3 large pendant lantern lights suspended down from the centre piece. The ceiling rose measures 8.5" wide and 4" tall. The main frame is 17" across and 5 1/4" tall. it measures a total drop from the ceiling of 34" With each side pendant on a chain of 3 links and total length from the top if the frame of 16.5 inches. It will require a re-wire and small amount of attention to the metal links holding all the pieces. It still has the ceramic rise& fall fixture within the ceiling rose. Which now has a metal hook. Each of the pendants has the old white ceramic edged screw fittings(normal width) There is a suspended arm adjoined to the frame which holds a bulb to the centre if the dome. For the ... morepurposes of the photos I have suspended the light over a single energy bulb.not the brightest. But I think this gives a basic idea of how it could look. The glass is in near perfect condition with only a couple of light edge marks where the small screws have held it in place. The dome and other 2 lanterns are unmarked. One of the small screws is damaged, but the shade is firmly in place with only 2. Good patina and age on the metal work, could be slightly polished so the floral motifs are highlighted. Vintage Set of 4 Tulip Fluted Frosted Glass Light Fixture or Lamp Globes/Shades
Set of four vintage tulip fluted frosted glass shades/globes. Three globes are in excellent used condition with absolutely no damage. Chips, cracks, etc. One globe has a slight crack which is shown in the pictures above. The crack is so slight that the sides are still completely approximated and the globe will attach and hang to a fixture without issue. It shouldn't be noticeable when attached to a ceiling fixture or if turned away on a lamp or sconce. The fitter top rim is 2 1/4" wide, and it is 6 3/4" around in diameter at the very top ledge. The globes are each about 4 1/2" tall, and roughly 20" in diameter at the widest point at the bottom of the globe where the ruffles are. I use USPS insurance for shipping the items just in case! Art Nouveau Glass Sconce Lamp Shades Early 1900's Ruffled Edge Frosted Antique
Up for auction is a lovely Antique 1920's-1930's Pair of Glass Lamp Shades. Ruffled Bottom Edge that has been polished and a stone ground non-symmetrical fitter. Fitter helps date this to early 1900's. Sides have raised shapes that are reminiscent of a claddagh. Frosted finish rounds out these pieces. These shades could be used with ceiling fans. Chandelier lamp styles, wall sconce, table, bath vanity or other light fixture that will fit a 2-1/4" fitter. Individually crafted with lots of bubbles within the frosted glass. Characteristic to crafting style. One shade measures about 4-3/4" tall and 6-3/4" by 6" at the top opening. The opening on this shade is rounded. But when measured seems a little more oval. This shade has an area on the side that is folded. Again not sure what this means. Maybe shade got hot ... morefrom light bulb and melted, or maybe this happened when it was being made. The other shade measures about 5" tall and 6-1/4" diameter wide. This shade is a little more round at opening than the other shade. The fitter hole for these shades is 1-7/8" diameter for inside fitter and 2-1/8" diameter for outside fitter. These shades will fit any light fixture with a 2-1/4" screw hardware mount. Offering this nice pair of Antique Light Fixtures and Frosted Shades from the Arts and Crafts Era. The shades are beautifully done in a pink and blue frosted coloring. The brass hangers. One fixed and one adjustable are in excellent physical condition, but painted, and they need rewiring. They are 8 inches wide and 5 inches tall. The fixed holder is 8 inches tall and the adjustable holder is 10 inches, expanding to 12 inches. The blue shade has an edge spot that looks like the blowers end point. There are also some white paint spots that could be removed with soaking, but they are not a distraction. These are great, hard to find items. VINTAGE ANTIQUE PEWTER LIGHTING SCONCE WITH FROSTED GLASS SHADES BY GERINGER
I was told this lighting sconce is an antique pewter but not 100% sure. Made by Geringer. GIM 616 imprinted in back. It is absolutely beautiful! It's weight is 4lbs. The base is 6" high. With shades it measures 9" high. The width is 13"with the shades on) It was owned by my grandmother for over 40 years so I'm not certain of it's age. It could use a cleaning and rewiring. Up for auction are Two Vintage Victorian Era Frosted Glass Lamp Shades Globes. Have a Raised Embossed Lattice Pattern with Vines and Scalloped Opening. Thick Frosted Glass Shades. Very good condition and will fit any 2-1/4" fitter hardware mount(most common) Approximately 5" High with a 5" Diameter at Bottom Opening. Fitter hole measures 2-1/16" diameter outside and 1-1/2" diameter inside fitter. Thick heavy shades approximately 5/16" thick glass at fitter end and 1/4" thick glass at bottom opening. Nice condition with no chips or cracks. Some markings on fitter end from previous screw hardware mount. Which is considered normal and will not be noticeable once installed. As you will see in the last picture. One of the shades has a rough area to the inside of the bottom opening rim that is about 1/4" ... morelong and another 1/16" spot about 2" or less from this rough area. An antique set of four(4) Glass Lamp Shades. These came from an old East Providence estate. They're in very nice condition with no apparent damage. Ruffled rim with an embossed design depicting(I believe) a stylized bunch of grapes Crafted pieces. With no seams. Both the inside and outside has a matte finish. Size: the mounting rim(fitter" end) is 1-3/4 inches wide on the small dimension. And 2 inches at the rim dimension(outside dimensions) Height 4-1/2 inches. Bell width 6-1/2 inches. Each of these have a few very small elliptical white marks on them. Which are normal results from the old manufacturing process. Antique 1920's Lot of Hanging lights and glass iridescent/frosted shades H & H
On auction today is. A lot of 2 vintage hanging light fixtures. One is H&H marked as pictured. There are 3 glass shades as well. The first one is frosted iridescent carnival glass color with a design on the glass on the beige color fixture which is H&H. The second one is a purple iridescent color with an art deco design along the bottom on the dark metal fixture. The 3rd one(shade only) is frosted glass and newer than the other two. Most likely for a lamp. All are in this lot and will be sold together. It is cloth wiring now and would need to be rewired before use. This auction is for a fantastic c.1940's 3 light brass hanging chandelier. It has great wiring and is in like new condition. Great patina and no dents or scratches. All 3 sockets work great and the shades are in excellent condition with no breaks. Chips or cracks. The only thing that is missing is the actual ceiling chain which it did have but it was transferred to another chandelier. It measures approx. 17" wide X 10" high.
