The base metal is gray in color with a brass-colored coating.which has oxidized some over time which I believe adds to their overall timeless character. There is some finish loss. They would extend approximately 11" from the wall. The decorative mount is approximately 5 1/4" in diameter while the globe mount measures approximately 4 1/2" Would like to bring to your attention that one decorative leaf is missing from the bottom of one of the sconces as shown in photo#5. 2 VINTAGE PAULDING PORCELAIN ART DECO BATHROOM WALL ELECTRIC LIGHT SCONCES
Here are 2 great 1930's art Deco porcelain wall sconce lights from Paulding. You will see in the pictures that they are in great condition. I have not tried to clean them and appear to be fully functional. The fastening screw is included and the pull chain porcelain end is also still intact. Very hard to find everything together. These also have the outlet on the bottom behind the pull chain. These can be wired 250v 10amp or 125v 15 amp. I have had some questions about the wiring so I have included 2 more pictures. Vintage PAIR BRASS and LEAD CRYSTAL WALL SCONCES SINGLE LIGHT
This is a very nice pair of brass wall sconces with original patrina in good working condition. There is one light per sconce. Hanging from the beautiful floral crest are tear drop and button lead crystal prisms. They measure 8" high to the top of the sleeve. 9" wide, and extend 7" out from the wall. PAIR ANTIQUE FUNKY BRASS 7 LIGHT WALL SCONCES MENORAH JUDAICA
Hi. Here is a great pair of antique/vintage wall sconces, each one in the shape of a Temple Menorah with 7 arms, they would look amazing on any wall, the wiring is original so i would have it checked with an electrition, but it is all there, all original. i did not polish the brass so it is in old patina finish. The menorah part is all brass, the backplate is metal that has been gilded. the turn on and off switch is on the back plate and there are two holes for mounting to the wall. the wiring, like i said is all there from all 7 lights to the back. the pair are big measuring 14 3/4 inches long and 11 inches wide at the widest point.the sconces the backplate measures 5" round and are 6.5 inches deep, that means when mounted on the wall they protrude 6.5 inches from the wall. great for lighting a special spot. And with 7 small candelabra ... morebulbs, you will have a great look on the wall. they have an old look. With nice detailing on the front the brass is worn as is the back plate, you can polish up or use as they are. the candlestick parts are covered with white candle covers, and all the insides are there. i have not lit them, i would check with electrition or good handy man before using them. they are as found in an estate. They were stored in the attic for many years, ok the history of them is this, one member of the family said they were in their grandmother's home in the study over the grandfather's desk area, and that they were there for over 80 years, the other family member said that the family story was that they belonged to an older family relative who was a Rabbi and very learned, and he gave them to the grandfather, that is all I know about them, I purchased them a number of years ago and have stored them but never used them. so here they are to sell and find a new home. if you have any other questions email them to me before bidding. thanks so much. This is a great pair of old light fixtures that can be used inside or out side. Each is made of a metal material. Probably cast aluminum and are black in color. Each measures 23” overall and have 8 beveled glass sides“octagon shape” with the original glass in each of the eight side. The lights were tested and both work. The wiring is cloth but still in great shape. All of the glass panels are in nice condition with one exception. One lantern has two glass panels with a small chip in the glass both chips are inside the lamp and are hardly visible. There is no damage to them otherwise only some wear from use. The main valves are stiff to turn, but not frozen. I moved it with fingers, not putting any tools on the handles. The fit ring i/d are 2 18 inches in diameter max. A two inch shade would be appropriate. This is sold as architectural salvage parts. Period correct, for architectural restoration. ANTIQUE / VINTAGE PAIR OF BRONZE BRASS 2 LIGHT ART DECO WALL SCONCES
For your bidding is a gorgeous pair of Art Deco 2 Light wall sconces. The backs which are 7" in diameter are brass grating with a brass plate in the back that has been painted white. Each sconce has two lights/candles that are 6 1/2" tall with the original sleeves and pull changes to turn on and off(all working) The total length of each sconce is 9 1/2" The arms of the lights have swirled detailed designs and reach out 6 1/2" from the wall. The back plates of the sconces are held on by three nuts. There is a metal bar in which to hang them. They have the original wiring which looks to be in good condition. All parts are originals. There is a small amount of paint residue from years of remodels around the back edge of the lights that can easily be removed. This is vintage pair ornate double candle/light wall sconces/fixtures. The pair are a heavy. High quality, and ornate pair of vintage wall sconces. Each sconces is beautifully designed and have to lights that would come out from the wall. I believe that they are brass by their look and due to the fact that they are non magnetic. But I am not 100% sure. Each piece measures approx 10" tall by 10 3/4" wide and would stick out from the wall approx 6 1/2" Both of the sconces are in very good to great condition. I do not see any damage other than some normal age and usage wear. There should have been prisms hanging underneath the light arms but I am sorry to say that I do not have them. With all vintage lighting I would suggest getting the pieces rewired. I have taken a few photos so that you may see the condition and the true beauty ... moreof this wonderful light fixture. It was a great craftsmanship to make the shell"butterflied" The bottom of the shell reads several things. Including"1942" The front of the shell reads"86 Seabees" A"Seabee" was a member of the U.S. Navy Construction Battalion. The word"Seabee" came from the abbreviation of"CB" for the Construction Battalion) The Seabees were formed in 1941 as a naval construction unit. They were engaged in construction and combat. They helped work on the new air strip and cleanup after the Japanese bombing in 1942. They participated in every major assault in WWll such as the Normandy Invasion. They were also heavily involved ... morein the Korean War. Their motto is"We Build, We Fight" These came out of an estate of a retired WWll veteran. They have newer cords. I want to clarify that the arms on these sconces are absolutely 1920's over the top gorgeous original wall lamp arms. Someone has saved these beautiful arms and added the backers and frosted wheel cut glass globes. These are not 100% antique. They did a wonderful job and nothing looks muddled or forced. The golds match well and the top frosted glass shades are beautiful Art Deco style. The sockets and wiring are new and the mounting hardware is all new ready to use.
