Antique Brass Ceiling Light Fixture UNO with Glass Shade Pat. Dec 24 1912
BRASS CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE WITH GLASS SHADE I am offering for your consideration this single brass ceiling light fixture with glass shade. The fixture is marked UNO with a patent date of Dec 24 12 and the socket is marked Arrow. It appears to be complete but I have not tried to see if it works- it has a length of wire being approximately 20" coming from the top of the tube at the point where it would mount to the ceiling. It has a 17" drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. Good original brass patina with minor discoloration and oxidation. One screw that holds the shade has been replaced and is rusty, the link that attaches the rod to the socket is not brass and small rim chips and roughness around the bottom of the glass shade. 3 Chain Ceiling Light: Fixture Vintage Shade w/ Reproduction Brass Fixture Base
This dainty little gem of a ceiling light fixture has a maximum drop of approximately 14 inches and is 10 1/2 inches at its widest point. The vintage globe is clear glass and it is painted on the inside with a frosted type paint finish. It features a decorative floral pattern that is molded into the glass. The solid brass fitter base with a nickel finish is made from brass kit parts and features a new porcelain socket, new wires, new brass, and new mounting hardware. The fixture is showing it's age with the vintage glass shade having some chipping around the area where one of the chain rests in the hole and wear in the finish, along the top of the glass rim as well as a small scratch on the bottom outside side of the shade. This charming ceiling light features a light pinkish peach color vintage glass deco shade with a new solid polished brass fixture. The light fixture has a maximum height of approximately 14 inches and is 11 inches at it's widest point. The shade is vintage and is showing its age with some imperfections in the frosted pinkish peach colored glass including small scuffs on the underside of the shade and small chips in chain holes all of which is pretty common for old glass. The new solid brass fixture base is from a pre-assembled fitter kit featuring a brass beaded chain. Hello. This is a beautiful old light fixture prob. from the 20's or 30's. It actually looks as if it may have never been instaled. The little springie contact point in the bottom of the sockets(see pics) looks to haver never been pushed down, and I am talking about all 4. Of course the wireing is decayed and needs redone. This sale is for an OLD ornate vintage cast brass/bronze colored metal ceiling light fixture- made by Hedco Inc(marked"N.Y. 10 N.Y. No cracks or damage. It is approximately 8 inches across. The set screws are intact and thread in and out freely. It has four mounting holes; two are approximately 2.75 inches apart and two are approximately 3.5 inches apart. This fixture will accomodate shade base sizes of approximately 3.5 inches to 4.0 inches. Some tarnish is present but it could easily be cleaned and restored. It was still being used, the campus came thru and removed all the bulbs from all the fixtures. The wiring looks and feels very good for a 86 yr old fixture, it will be buyers responsibility to determine safety of wiring. Fixture's base measures 11-1/4" in diameter and stands 7-1/4" tall to top of lamp sockets. Each lamp socket has a push base switch 2 of them switch good a 2 don't switch so good. Base of fixture is made of thin metal with socket stucture made of thick material which is brass.

This fixture was installed in the library of a huge“1898” Queen Anne style summer home located in Harbor Springs. Michigan. Most of this home still relied on the original“knob and tube” wiring for its electrical power. The first floor ceilings of this home were 11' high. A few of the ceiling fixtures were controlled by pull chain switches due to the lack of wall switches. This fixture was originally equipped with a pull chain switch. Photo#10 shows the hole where the switch was installed. This ornate fixture has great detailing and is in very good condition. It has an overall height of 36-3/4” from top of canopy to the bottom tip of the finial) The widest point of the ... morefixture is approximately 22” measuring to the edges of shades. This fixture was just re-wired and new socket insulators were installed. It has been gently cleaned so as not to disturb the aged patina. All three of the original solid brass“Fat Boy” sockets have mica centers and are in very good condition. They are marked"Edison Patents 250V 50 C.P" The paddle key switches are marked“Bryant” The 2-1/4" shade fitters are marked"PAT. DEC 9. 90 SEPT 29,96" The three matching holophane style glass shades are in excellent condition. The cross hatched cut glass design and the delicate beaded ruffle enhance the overall beauty of this light. Shades measure 4-3/4" high. Antique Brass Light Fixture Hanging Pull Chain Hallway Closet Stairway Ceiling
Up for auction is an antique brass light fixture. Ceiling mount with a pull chain. I'm guessing it's brass. It is not magnetic. Looks like brass. Has a cloth cord. Black piece between the cord and fixture is plastic or bakelite. It uses a standard size bulb. I don't know if it works. I have no way of testing it. The pull chain does click when pulled. It's in good used condition. No cracks. Chips, or breaks. Brass shows wear, scuffs, marks, paint marks. It might be able to be cleaned/polished. I haven't tried, I'll leave that to the experts. I think it has character the way it is now. Cloth wrap on the cord has fraying but I don't see any bare wire exposed. The wire inside the cloth wrap seems to be cloth wrapped and not torn or frayed. vintage brass single light ceiling fixture with old hp shade + edison socket
This is a very nice ceiling fixture circa 1890-1910 with a fine old holophane shade and an Edison socket. It hangs from ceiling to bottom of shade about 12.5 inches. The socket appears to be good though I don't know if the socket is complete inside. I think it is. I have seen older Edison socket with a different interior.but I do think this is OK. Feels as if the switch is working well. The fixture is exactly like it was when removed from the ceiling of an old building recently. Has all hanging hardware in the cap. All old solid brass. Vintage large art deco brass school store industrial ceiling light fixture
For sale is a vintage 1930 1940 school house industrial ceiling light fixture pendant light. The fixture hangs down from the ceiling about 50 inches. It could be easily shortened by taking out links in chain and shortening wire or it can be extended down further for those who have very high ceilings since there is another additional 32 inches of wire that extends past the canopy. Just add the desired length of links and you won't have to rewire since the extra wire is already attached. It has a great art deco milk glass shade that measures about 9 inches tall and about 12 inches wide at widest part. It has a six inch opening and is in great shape without any cracks and only minor flea bites along the edge of opening(see pictures) Very minor and does not interfere with the beauty of function of item since it fits inside the shade holder ... moreand is not seen. The shade holder and canopy are solid brass with a shiny finish(I don't think it is lacquered and will age to a beautiful antique brass finish over time. The fixture is in excellent working order with new wiring and a new porcelain bulb holder. WOW! Art &Crafts Period Brass Metal Original Glass Shades Ceiling Light Fixture
Excellent Brass& Glass Art& Crafts Period Light Ceiling Fixture. A Truly Great Large Craftsman Fixture! Nice Patina on the Brass Base. The Base is Excellent(see photos) The White Glass Shades Are All Original. They are great as well- a little roughness and tiny chips along the inside of the rim on a couple of them- hardly noticeable but had to be mentioned for the Ebay microscope. Someone before me went through this fixture and updated the wiring and the sockets. In the process they changed the individual lights from having switches to having the whole fixture hardwired for connection to the ceiling and then controlled by a light switch. See photo# 9- the oval shaped hole where the switches once were. I am glad they kept the original brass socket covers even with the switches gone. They have a nice. Consistent patina and match the ... morerest of the fixture. One of the loop attachments to the brass socket covers has"opened up" see last photo) It does not negatively affect anything in terms of stability, again, had to be mentioned. I will repair or replace that before shipping. It measures 16" in overall height from the bottom of the shades to the top of the fixture where it connects to the chain. It is about 21" across at its widest points. The shades are 6" in diameter and about 4-1/4" in height. The circular center of the brass fixture is 11" in diameter. Up for auction is a pre-owned Vintage all brass CHANDELIER ceiling light fixture with 4 outside lights and 1 center light with the dome center frosted and cut glass shade. The light fixture is all brass but have some of the areas painted a tan or light brown color. Light have 4 heavy cast brass ornate 4-light chandelier arm with the flat on/off knobs( knobs are marked BRYANT) Light has a 20" long chain and the domed ceiling mount cover cap. All the fixture shades are frosted with cut in detailed design( cut in design is the clear glass) and gives off a soft. Warm glow when lit. BULBS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION! I cannot find a signature on the light. SIZE: Approximately 20 1/2" across the arms and 47" from the domed ceiling mount cover to the bottom of the shade. The 4 outside smaller shades are 5" from top to bottom ... moreoutside, top of these shades are 1 7/8" on the inside and 2 3/16" aross to the outside. The bottom of the 4 smaller shades are 3 1/2" across to the inside and 3 3/4" aross to the outside. Here is one of two. Early 1900's era ~ SOLID BRONZE& BRASS THEATER LOBBY CEILING FIXTURE ~ Please check out the other fixture, that is just like this one, which I just listed as well. This early ceiling fixture is quite large measuring 21 inches across by 8 1/2 inches tall and weighs about 20 pounds. The entire fixture is solid brass or bronze. There is a maker's mark on the inside which is a B inside a Fleur-De-lis. This would have been a pretty expensive fixture to purchase back in the early 1900's. I would estimate that this was made around the 1910 to the very early 1920's era. It would mount flush to the ceiling and have exposed light bulbs which would add a wonderful look. I am selling this early fixture just like it was found when discovered in the estate. It has been tucked away for a very long time, and is in ... more100% all original untouched condition. The patina is wonderful and only needs a soft cleaning. There is a very light layer of beige paint along the top edge that would come right off with a little paint thinner. It will also need rewired and new sockets. It is actually a fairly easy rewire job as it is all exposed from the top. With the exception of the old cloth wiring and sockets, the lamp is in very good condition with no damage. I believe that the cast portion is bronze and the bottom pan is brass" a magnet does stick to the metal" and the entire fixture is all quality yellow metal. The original paint is in wonderful condition and would look fantastic with just a mild cleaning. Antique Double Brass Hanging Ceiling Light Fixture w/ Painted Glass Shades
For your consideration fresh from a local estate a wonderful antique lamp fixture with hand painted glass shades. The antique fixture is from the early 1900's and is all original with a wonderful aged patina on the brass. This has a beautiful pair of hand painted shades which also add to the beauty of this antique fixture. I took alot of pictures so you could see the beauty of this fixture. The fixture comes with the original ceiling cap and chain. From the cap to the bottom of the shade is 37" and the main body is 10" across. This is a great fixture for any old house restoration.

Vintage Chandelier Ceiling Light Fixture Brass Antique Art Nouveau Toggle Switch
Payment by palpal only. As shown an Antique Chandelier made from a Copper/Brass Alloy. The 3 socket shades were wired to the fixture. The holes do line up but stiff old fingers cannot manipulate the tiny screws. Note the flowers on the shades& the fixture. The piece is heavy at more than 6 lbs. And about 14 1/2" in diameter. The lamp is in very good restorable condition. The wiring has been replaced but the sockets have not. The other lamp in the last 2 pictures is listed separately. I retired from the U. S. Army in Sept. 1987. And for the last several years supplemented my retiree pay with ebay sales. And it is for the most part a blast.
