FABULOUS MID CENTURY FRENCH ITALIAN PENDANT LAMP FROSTED GLASS GOLD LEAF IRON
This is a beautiful pendant lamp/chandelier! This lovely. Mid Century fixture features a gold leaf/gilded iron, elongated, hexagon frame. The frame is accented with twisted iron and adorned with large Fleur de Lis. It has a scrolled lower section. The top section has a multi-frond finial. The 6 glass panels are frosted and slightly textured on the interior side. The lamp utilizes one, standard size bulb. There is a pull chain, on/off switch inside the lamp. The lamp could easily be hardwired directly into the ceiling if you so choose. This is very nicely made, higher end, fixture with exceptional details. There are no manufacturer's marks or stickers. It is in very good condition with some wear to the gold leaf finish which can be resolved. A couple of the glass pieces have some minor chipped edges which are not visible when the panels ... moreare inside the frame. The wiring is vintage but in good, working condition. The lamp is large and measures 24" tall. It is 7.5" in diameter. There are a couple of feet of wiring and chain included with the lamp but not included in the measurements. Up for your review and consideration is this stunning Art Nouveau 5 Arms Brass Bronze Chandelier with French Frosted Glass Flame Shades from France circa 1910's. It has beautiful ornate designs all over. The arms are held with brass screws which I replaced with new brass ones as the old ones were weak and full of rust. The chain is 33" long without the chandelier to adjust to whatever ceiling height the buyer has. It came from a house with Cathedral ceilings on Miami Beach. The chandelier itself is 20" tall. The arms have ornate design and scrolls. It's 14" across in diameter with the shades. It's been rewired by a local electrician. All the buyer has to do is have it polished even though it looks good as is. It needs to be cleaned but the new owners can do that. I have an extra glass shade which will be included ... morewith the sale of the this gorgeous chandelier. It is an absolutely gorgeous chandelier. There are two of them and if you need 2 maybe we can work out a reasonable price. It's made from a heavy solid bronze and brass fantastically designed in an ornate French Art Nouveau style.
