Pair of Vintage Antique Art Deco Victorian Cast Metal Sconces Light Fixtures

These are wonderful art deco sconces with a Victorian look. They are in as-found condition and have newer wiring. Each has a slightly different patina but compliment each other well. There are no switches at the base; there are empty holes. The switches are not needed. They can mounted and used without them. I believe they are made of a mixed metal. There is some paint along the edges of each sconce, I haven't tried to clean them. Each measures approximately 11" x 5" Both lights come with the original wall brackets. Wonderful vintage lights! It is obviously in need of a good cleaning and needs thewide and original wiring replaced. Up for auction is this wonderfully detailed Vintage Antique 1920s Art Deco or Art Nouveau five bulb ceiling fixture. They are made of a cast iron hand painted treatments. The original wiring is in the back. Measures about 10" high x 16" in diameter. We did not test the lights to see if they work as the wiring is old and most likely not safe to use until they are rewired. Well worth restoring! AWESOME! Double candle holders with highly ornate floral deco and two big fish at the top. The sconce measures 18" tall and 10" wide across the candle holders. There is a space for a picture or photo(opening is 3 1/2" x 71/2" The back has a thin brass plate covering the photo opening and a strong round ring for hanging. It weighs over 3 1/2 lbs. There is a surface crack in the bottom right candle holder. Shown in the last photo. This is a great old piece that will add some life to your deco wherever you put it! You are bidding on one lovely Art Nouveau lightweight cast metal enamel finish ceiling light fixture. This fixture is ivory. I think it has been painted because I am also listing a matching fixture with the same sweet swirled design accented in pale aqua and rose pink. The base of the fixture that fastens to the ceiling is 6 3/8" in diameter. It has 2 holes where it screws into the ceiling. The part that holds the socket/bulb has a decorative folded back design. Winning bidder will need to have the fixture rewired as the wires are cut. There is also a little bit of paint here and there where ceiling paint got on it. Vintage Art Deco Cast Metal Wall Light Sconce Slip Shade, Bronze/Copper Finish
Gorgeous antique cast metal slip shade stye sconce fixture. Measures about 5 ½" wide by 7 ½" long. Very good condition for age. Has a lovely pattern and nice bronze/copper finish. There is a little discoloration at the bottom tip of fixture, but I was afraid to try and clean it. I believe the piece is cast iron as it is quite heavy, but it could be cast aluminum, or spelter. This is a beautiful antique wall sconce for restoration. It has original copper socket and wiring so this would need replacing. This would take a slip shade, which unfortunately was not with it when found. There is no maker name or other markings that I can see. Beautiful Antique Art Nouveau Deco Hanging Chandeliers- Made of some sort of light weight cast metal. I do not know what kind, they need cleaning but not really any rust- They are marked. made in USA" and"Patented 11-25-24" and have a design number as well- ok. It looks like the person before me was trying to clean them up, one is in its totally original state, the other has been lightly cleaned, the most obvious evidence of this is in the fourth photo, they really shined up that part, then got some white paint on it, this is the only area of any sort of issue, I think the paint can be removed easily enough- The metal is a silver pewter sort of color. With lightly painted details- The light bulbs would hand on the underside. This needs to be re-wired, I have photographed the original cloth covered wires- The part where you ... morescrew in the light bulbs looks really good. We stripped all the old paint covering this gem and set to about our business of lovingly restoring it to its original beauty. First we polished the metal and applied a light silver finish. We then applied a blackening agent to bring out the ornate details in the casting, and applied polychrome paint to the design elements. Finally, we applied a protective coat of lacquer. Antique Art Deco 3 Light Cast Metal Ceiling Hallway Light Fixture w/ Mount
Up for auction is the beautiful Art Deco cast metal ceiling or hallway 3 light fixture that measures a maximum of 10.5 inches across and ~2.5 inches high. Exterior is painted with a bronze colored paint and highlighted with red flowers and green leaves. Original paint is in very good condition with only a few areas of wear. I have tried to show the condition clearly in the photographs. Stamp marked into the metal on the interior but I can't quite make it out. One mark looks like"1930" but whether this refers to the company or patent date or the date of manufacture I don't know. I have photographed these marks as well. This fixture is in excellent original condition with no chips or cracks to the metal and comes with what looks like the original mounting hardware. We found this old wall sconce at an estate auction. The two socket covers and the backplate are copper. The rest is cast metal. The scone is approximately 10” wide x 8” high x 5” deep. The backplate is 5” in diameter. The edge of the backplate is ruffled at the edge. I did wire the sconce in and it works– however– the socket on the left is very loose and definitely needs some work or replacement. The wiring looks like it was replaced at one time.
