2 VINTAGE TUSCAN FRENCH OUTDOOR LANTERNS SCONCES AMERICAN WALL LIGHT FIXTURE
These types of old American made light fixtures are becoming more and more difficult to find. Back when these were made they were made to last. This is a great pair of old light fixtures that can be used inside or out side. Each is made of a metal material. Probably cast aluminum and are black in color. Each measures 23” overall and have 8 beveled glass sides“octagon shape” with the original glass in each of the eight side. The lights were tested and both work. The wiring is cloth but still in great shape. All of the glass panels are in nice condition with one exception. One lantern has two glass panels with a small chip in the glass both chips are inside the lamp and are hardly visible. There is no damage to them otherwise only some wear from use. Each will hold an incandescent light bulb. With standard size base. I do not know their age ... moreor the manufacturer. Pair Antique Cast Iron Art Deco 1930's Vintage Outdoor Sconces Old Wall Lights
This huge pair of cast iron Art Deco sconces came from the same estate as all the other sconces we have listed this week. This pair must have come off of a commercial building such as a bank or a factory. Certainly were used on the exterior of an old commercial building. These heavy cast iron sconces have some of the best Art Deco lines of any you will find. The sconces are in generally good condition. The flat black paint as it is in really good condition so probably recent and they have no breaks, cracks or repairs. Although the one is missing its socket and the jar type adapter which I assume was to screw the shade to, it would be easy to replace with just a socket and then place the shade in the 6" fitter. You will see holes in the sides of the fitter however they have no threads. You could probably tap them for threads to put set ... morescrews to hold the shades however not really necessary as the round shade would certainly fit nicely into the fitter. These old sconces are incredible size wise. Each one measures about 13 1/2" tall with the flat sided roundish part being a good 3 1/4" diameter. Pair Antique Solid Copper Outdoor Wall Lights Lanterns Sconces STILL WORK
Hello. I removed this pair of outdoor copper lights from one of our project houses just last week. Both lights worked on the last day up. Check out the porcelain sockets and cloth wiring(should help date them) All the yellowish/amber glass panels are undamaged. Both are solid copper with exception of cast iron mounting bracket. Both might need a little solder at th top of copper panels where they attach to main bracket. Also a couple of the small screws have been replaced. g564 Antique Pair Of Cast Iron Outdoor Wall Sconces
Bases are 5 1/2" X 5 1/2" They stand out from the wall 7 1/2" and there 6 1/4" tall with out the globe. Globe fitters are 3 1/4" in diameter inside. Sconces are rusty and have been painted a bunch. Screws will have to be drilled out. There rusted in. The sconces are a little different in that one slides in and out and the other one does not and there is a little difference in design. Please see pictures. All of the lamp parts. That we have, are as found. No attempt has been made to clean or or polish them. They come with the tarnish, any grime and paint that we couldn't just brush off. Most of them are used, antique, vintage etc. Some have been polished(I didn't do it) Any major flaws etc. will be noted in listing. Minor scraches and little dents may be present. Most of the electric parts are"as is" ... moreand have not been tested. Most will need to be rewired. We try to be accurate, but will gladly answer any questions that are within our range of knowledge(which is quite limited) Thank you. Vintage Solid Brass Outdoor Wall Sconces Lights w/Bevelled Glass Home or Garage
Up for auction is a nice vintage pair of outdoor solid brass wall light sconces in a Colonial Lantern style. These are made by Heath Lighting and have bevelled glass panes that light beautifully. These measures 12" tall x 7" off the wall. Good original wiring. These work fine and have a vintage patina to the brass. A magnet does not stick anywhere to these lights. One of the lamps is missing a small brass ball at the top that I have replaced with a nut and bolt. If you found a round brass head bolt you could do better than I did but I couldn't find one. PAIR Antique OUTDOOR outside SLIP SHADE wall SCONCES Federal REGENCY Art Deco
For your consideration we are offering this outstanding set of heavy glass slip shade outdoor wall sconces circa early 1900s. Each light measures in at an approximate 7"H x 5"A x 4"D. Condition and item specifics are as follows: Both fixture were recently taken down and were in working order. The sockets and wiring appear to have been replaced at some point and look to be in good condition. I do always recommend having a lighting professional go over all vintage lighting prior to installation. Both glass shades which are held in with thumb screws have some small chips along their perimeter but are otherwise void of cracks. Chips etc.Please view all pics as I've shown this in detail. The color of the shades is clear with a very pale amber hue. For some reason my camera shows a bottle green color in several of the shots which ... moreis not the case to the naked eye. The back plates have some paint splatter etc.as shown. Overall a beautiful high quality set of antique sconces perfect for any elegant vintage exterior. As with all of our items this piece is estate fresh and being offered on the collectibles market for the first time. Antique Carriage Light outdoor wall sconces. 2 Large Brass with Beveled glass.
This is a set of two Very large Beautiful Old Brass Carriage Lights with 6 panels of beautiful beveled glass seperated by brass. On the inside of the lamp where the brass seperates the glass there is a number( 540071)stamped on each section. Takes 3 bulbs. Has 60 watt maximum. I have not been able to find out what it means, or who makes them. They need polishing, and I leave that to the buyer. They are a rare find. Much larger than usual, and a set of them. I got these at an Estate Sale, and they told me they worked. The people having the sale are very well known and trusted folks, so I trust that they will work. I have no way of testing them, but returns are no problem if they don't work. They need a good cleaning and I leave that to the buyer. They will be wrapped well in a large box together. Which explains high shipping cost. This ... moreis a great price for a set of 2 of these at this size. The wall mount is 4 1/2 x 5 1/2. 26" tall and 12" at the widest point. These are an Unusually Large size with 3 bulbs. Very Decorative.
