Pair Art Deco Nouveau Slip Slipper Shade Sconces Wall Lights Fixtures
These are a beautiful pair of original Art Deco slip shade sconces. Very nice detailed design in shades and sconce holders. The finish on the the back plates looks to be original and is great shape but could use some cleaning. The detailed shades are beautiful with the original orange highlights and are in great shape. There is a teeny sliver chip on the side of one shade near the fitter(barely noticable only mentioned for accuracy) and a thin line on the fitter tab of the other one that is not seen when shade is in fitter. See pictures. The electrical and switches do work but they have cloth wiring and should be checked by a professional or rewired. See picture of one of the sconces lighted. Very Hard to find and and lovingly restored to a brilliant blend of golds. Greens, red, copper, bronze and oil rubbed to enhance detail. Fixtures from this period were made with care and great thought. Everything about them was made to last. Th is is a five light chandelier with five arms that hold chains that lead to a small bonnet and that is where the canopy me ets. The arms hold a cons olidated glass slip on smoke bell over each socket. The glass is in great condition with some minor not noticeable age chips around the edges. For the age they are exceptional. The flash from the camera bri ngs the colors out brighter. Actually the gold is brilliant against the bronze and brass, but not so bright as in picture 4 and 2. This is a very Art Deco cast iron chandelier. Without shades. It measures about 17" from the finial tip to top ring where the chain starts, 9" across 2 opposing"wings" It has a turn switch on the bottom. 5 lights, needs rewiring. Accepts standard base bulb. Appears to be original finish. The measurement along the bottom is just over 2 1/2" and widens off to approx. 5" From the base to the top of the inside opening. Along the ridge inside each of the brackets(not sure what these are called) is right at 5" high.

This glass is very special and made with uranium in it, so when under b lack light it glows. Rare to find this glass still and especially in this condition. The frame is of a cast metal and heavier metal at that. It has been cleaned and r estored to a medium gold. And oil rubbed to enhance the details of the frame. The brass turn switch has been replaced with a new one and the socket and wiring also. The bulb it would take is a standard size bulb that w ith a regular base. Cast Aluminum 5 Light Brown Tip Art Deco Slip Shade Chandelier
Rare cast aluminum art deco 5 light slip shade fixture from the 1930's. Body was disassembled. Cleaned, reassembled, and rewired. Shades are in less than perfect condition, but look great when installed and illuminated. Each shade does have imperfections. Some exhibit chipped tips, chipped tabs along the edges, and spots in the finish. See images 1-12 above. As the title says I am also including an extra perimeter shade. It is not pictured, but I will gladly provide images prior to the sale. I have a ton more images of this fixture I can email to anyone interested. Fixture drops 25" from the ceiling and has a width of 20 1/2" Fixture was rewired with period appropriate white cloth covered wire. Both wires are white and one has a gold tracer. very good condition considering age(not sure exactly around 1940's my guess sockets may have been replaced or rewired plastic insulation) one glass globe has tiny chip on top but also has the frosted look so my have come from factory. 3/8" thick glass. frosted and hand painted. globes are 7 1/2" tall 5" wide and 4" deep. sconces are light weight pot metal or aluminum not sure non magnetic. they are dark brown. not sure if original paint but they do match shades. they measure 9 3/8 x 5 1/2. very ornate. no markings that i can see except on leviton sockets/switches. one is missing switch nob but still seems to work.

VINTAGE LINCOLN ART DECO SLIP SHADE
Vintage art deco slip shade by the Lincoln Lighting Co. Circa 1930. These shades were made for Lincoln's classic"Fleur de Lis" art deco light fixtures, which can often be found here on eBay or through vintage lighting dealers. This highly ornamented. Pressed-glass slip shade retains its original two-tone, graduated orange enameled finish. It measures 7 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches deep. There are a few small fleabites on the top edge. Ash shown in photos 2 and 3, and one chip on the mounting lip in the back. As shown in photos 6 and 7. Still. Two vintage Art Deco slip shade sconces made by Markel in the late 1920s or early 1930s. The sconces are made of a heavy. Solid metal(steel, perhaps? One(shown on the left in photo 1 and in photo 2) has the original painted finish, which is in good condition. With a nice, aged patina. The other(shown on the right in photo 1 and in photo 4) has been repainted. The sconce on the left appears to have been rewired and given a new socket in the not-too-distant past. The sconce on the right appears to have the original socket and wiring. They are both missing the original mounting bolts and glass slip shades. Photo 7 shows the shades that originally came with these sconces; these slip shades turn up on eBay every so often. So you can find replacements. 5 LIGHT SLIP SHADE CHANDELIER AMBER DECO NOUVEAU I have for auction a 5 light slip shade chandelier. I also I have the matching 3 light slip shade chandelier listed this week and will gladly combine shipping. The light measures about 14 inches across and the light itself measures about 18 inches long. The light will hang down from the ceiling 26 inches. The embossed design on the light matches the embossed design on the amber shades. The light is in good used condition. There so some small spots of color missing on the canopy and one shade does have a small chip and rest the shades have only some very minor roughness to the edges. Beautiful 1930's Aluminum& Brass Art Deco 2 Light Slip Shade Chandelier Ceiling Fixture with two(2) shades. The fixture is 16" tall and about 12"14" wide. This striking fixture is in very good condition. The wiring has been replaced. But not sure about the sockets, which are moveable, making it easier to change bulbs. There are a few small chips on the shades, mainly around mounting openings, as shown in pictures, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the chandelier. 1930's Art Deco Glass Slip Shade Chandelier Pendant Light Fixture Lincoln Era
Do you have a lighting fixture that works but is lacking in style? It's time to upgrade- with this beautiful and rare Art Deco slip shade chandelier! Three frosted glass shades with a classic Art Deco design slide into a bronze finished six-sided chandelier frame decorated in a stylized floral and geometric pattern. On the bottom of the chandelier hangs a large pendant. The chandelier has three light sockets with their original wiring(still in good shape) that rise up through a central stem to a great"Levolier" in-line pull switch before ending in the original copper colored ceilingcanopy. The ceiling mount assembly even has its original mounting hardware so it's ready to go! There's no manufacturer name on the chandelier(as is the case with most chandeliers) But"B 57" is stamped in three places. We know that ... morea company called Lincoln made many of these but we can't be certain about this one. We're not sure what the base metal is, but it has a bronze patina and a magnet doesn't stick to it. Aside from its compact shape that allows this chandelier to be installed in a hallway, Kitchen, covered porch, foyer, office, breakfast room, bedroom, etc. what makes it special is that it can easily be disassembled for maintenance or repair AND comes with its three original shades! Antique and vintage lighting fixtures with a missing shade or ones with big cracks or other damage are quite common on eBay. But this chandelier- which is likely 80+ years old- has its original trio of shades, which contain only the inherent imperfections that occurred in the manufacturing process. There are no repairs or breakage anywhere on this chandelier!
