This lamp is being sold as-found for parts and repair. There are a couple tiny cracks in the fitters as you can see. There is also signs of rust on the thumb screws as well as the chain which would need to be cleaned up. It looks as if someone had started to restore this lamp but never finished. There are new wires as well as new sockets and it is being sold as working. The lamp shades shown in the pictures will be included. The glass lamp shades are free from any chips or cracks. The fitter size is a standard 2 1/4" so most antique lamp shades would fit this lamp. This lamp also comes with the ceiling canopy and the original mounting bracket. And a center globe that lights up, for a total ... moreof 4 lights total. It would need to be restored. Although does have a vintage look that many people do like, so I will leave the restoring to you. The brass is painted. And there are some dings, scratches, and stains on it. It comes complete with 3 orange chimney shades. And center white globe. One of the orange shades has a small chip on the top rim of it, and the center of another has some chipping, but none of that would be noticable when hanging in the cups. See photos. The fixture would need to be rewired. As one of the arms has a cut wire, and the wiring is older(although probably not original) and needs to be rewired and restored. The 3 orange chimney globes are 5 1/4 inches tall. And 4 1/2 inches at their base. the circle top rim is 2 1/4 inches outer, and 1 3/8 inches inner. The large white center globe is 9 1/8 inches inner. And 10 inches outer, and is about 6 inches deep, while about 12 inches at it's widest. One of the center globe's bolts to fasten it is missing, but it does stay tight with the remaining ones) There is a chain to hang it. But no ceiling cup. I have owned this lamp for at least 30 years. It was pretty old even back then, and it's been safely in a box since I bought it. I was always going to restore and use it, as I love these type of light fixtures, but as many things, never got to it, and decided it's time to let it go to a new wonderful home, where it can be enjoyed once again! 10 Arm Brass Chandelier Vintage/Antique
Up for Auction Vintage/Antique 10 arm brass chandelier. It is missing one of the electrical covers. Some drywall/texture on item, arms are a little loose, there are holes for the crystals and an electrical sticker, the center decorative crystal holders has one loose one, some wear and tear due to age. I am not sure how old it is but the wiring is definitily old style. I have only given it a gently cleaning, I leave the rest up to the experts. Note the beautiful work on the chain. This is for a beautiful Antique Spanish/French Brass& Crystal 5 Arm Chandelier. With fleur de lis patterns throughout. It came from a Wisconsin Estate. It is marked and made in Spain. Overall, it is in Very Good Original Condition! There are no cracks, chips or repairs. The patina is very nice! There are 51 crystals, which will be removed and packed seperately. The chandelier weighs between 9 and 10 lbs. It measures about 20 1/2 inches tall(without the chain) and about 20 inches wide. There are a total of 6 chain lengths at 2 inches long each, so you could get another 12 inches of height. There is a matching ceiling canopy and ceiling connector. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. This auction if for a very beautiful. Ornate and well made vintage made in Spain brass and crystal chandelier. The chandelier is a three tier one. With crystal prisms hanging from all three layers and it has eight arms with eight lights(candles) The metal work is all solid brass and it is therefore very heavy. Without the prisms on. It weighs 20 pounds. The ornate brass canopy and chain are original to the chandelier and are matching all other scrolled work on the metal. The entire brass metal work on the chandelier is very intricately detailed. And the bottom is completed with a very ornate cap and finial which are again matching all the other scroll work on the fixture. The chandelier. As can be seen in our pictures is in perfect working condition and ready to hang. It was too large for the room displayed in, and has to be replaced with ... morea smaller one. The measurements without any crystals on are: 24" in diameter X 26" high. The original and existing chain is 18" The chandelier comes with 80 prisms all together and one round crystal ball for the bottom. These are: 12 large tear drops 2 1/2" long 40 medium tear drops 2" long 8 small tear drops 1 1/2" long 8 large beveled flat(shell shaped) 3 1/2" long 12 long ones 7" long. Most of this home still relied on the original“knob and tube” wiring for its electrical power. The first floor ceilings of this home were 11' high. A few of the ceiling fixtures were controlled by pull chain switches due to the lack of wall switches. This fixture was originally equipped with a pull chain switch. Photo#10 shows the hole where the switch was installed. This ornate fixture has great detailing and is in very good condition. This fixture was just re-wired and new socket insulators were installed. It has been gently cleaned so as not to disturb the aged patina. All three of the original solid brass“Fat Boy” sockets have mica centers and are in very good condition. We have up for auction today a neat Old Light Fixture. The cap is 6 1/4in across and the fixture itself measures 10in across. Both the cap and pan part have ruffle ridges around the edge. The switches are marked WEBER. They turn pretty easy. The sockets hold a shade with a 2 1/4 in. opening. We are pleased to offer this fabulous chandelier! Dating to the Mid Century. This fixture features exceptional quality and is extremely heavy. It has a brilliant brass frame that features both straight lines as well as curves. There are four curved upper arms which connect to and support the fixture. The body of the chandlier feature 8 panel design. Brilliant brass separates the glass panels. The glass is very thick and is curved inward(concave) It is deeply etched/engraved on the top, down the sides, on the bottom with a linear, tri-cut design. The glass panels are held to the curved brass frame with a screw on their upper sections as well as their lower. The brass frame is accented on each panel with an acorn finial both on the upper and lower sections. The ornate center column is brass with an incised twist pattern. It is finished with ... morean acorn finial on the bottom. There are a total of 17 acorn finials on the fixture! There are eight arms which curve upward from the bottom of the fixture. Each arm houses a single bulb which are candlestick in design. The candle sleeve covers are also brass, not plastic. The fixture retains its original octagon brass ceiling canopy cover. This is an upper end fixture. The quality is superb and the chandelier is simply stunning! It is in very good condition with only minor signs of aging to the brass. The wiring is in very good condition and the fixture is ready to install. The chandelier is LARGE and measures 26" tall and is 17.75" in diameter. This is a fabulous antique chandelier dating from around 1920. It is made from solid brass and is an unusual multi-arm design with twenty upward curving arms or spokes. These are attractively designed and quite ornate. Each supporting a row of large hand cut iceberg crystals. The crystals are large and chunky with lead content so reflect the light superbly. At the base is a large diamond shape drop finial. They are all hand cut so no two will be identical. Looks stunning from every angle especially from beneath where it appears like a big ball of crystals! The central column tapers down and is an elegant design with almost art nouveau influences. Above this are hung more drops. There are ... moresix lights in total radiating out from the centre of the chandelier. This is a superb quality chandelier. Very heavy unlike modern lights. The chandelier is 23" Wide. It measures 32" tall, not including chain and cap parts. It is many cast brass construction which has various removable center parts and branches, around large screw core. The candle covers are okay but some have cracks or pieces missing and should be replaced to make it look perfect. The wiring to branches is on top of arms not inside like cheap hollow chandeliers. NO REPAIRS or SOLDER OR DAMAGE, EXCELLENT condition! Chandelier may be partially unscrewed in center to accomodate a smaller shipping size, so please be aware, though getting it ready for your room will take minimal reassembly, just simple attaching together again. I do not see any makers mark nor number on it. No cleaning has been done. Some of the dark places in photos are reflections. Some tarnish spots. So I took the ones with the orange background outside to try to keep reflections of the black camera away. There are spots on the brass though, also a couple of white paint spots. It weights over 3 lbs. Prob 5 lbs packed. About 17" from the ring at the top to the bottom of the point on the middle. The round plate below the ring at the top is about 4" across and that plate is a little bendable, not hard solid like the rest of the lamp. It will need rewiring, ... moreas it still has the old cloth covered wire. I have not tried to see if it works as it is. EDIT: My husband took the bolts out of two arms so it would lay down and ship easier. I then saw the wiring beneath and have added a photo. It looks like newer wire along with the cloth covered one. 4 NUART Art Deco Carnival Glass Shades On 4 Arm Brass Antique Chandelier Fixture
This is a wonderful antique brass and frosted glass shade 4 arm chandelier with 4 matching NUART Art Deco carnival glass shades. I believe it dates from the 1920s or 1930s. The shades have a beautiful amber color. They each have a fluted pattern on the inside of the shade. They have lightly etched grapes and leaves. Each is marked on the rim NUART. There are no chips or cracks on any of them. However. One of them has tiny thin scratches on the inside around the middle. The only way I can describe them is that someone tried to fit a lightbulb in it that was too big and it made tiny scratch marks along the inside. Unfortunately, I was unable to photograph them. The shades alone could be used for a FRANKART lamp or fixture also. The brass fixture is not marked with a maker's name. The arms have a great Art Deco pattern. It is in very good ... morecondition for its age except that it has a number of tiny 1/8 inch cracks along the rim on top. Approximately 15 of them. They look to have been there for a long time and do not look like they will break any more as the brass is securely fastened to the other piece of brass. It's a very sturdy piece. It also has a wonderful etched frosted glass center dome. The dome has some little dark marks on it and some dirt around the rim which I could not get off. But which don't show much. There is a tiny chip on the lip, approximately 1/4 inch wide. There are a few other flea bites around the rim which do not affect its structure. The shades are each approximately 5 1/2 inches tall(14 cm) Their main opening is 3 7/8 inches wide(9.8 cm) The fitter openings are 2 1/4 inches across(5.7 cm) The frosted glass dome is 12 inches wide(31 cm) It is 5 1/2 inches deep(14 cm) It's lip measures 9 7/8 inches across(25 cm) The main brass fixture is 21 inches wide(53 cm) The round part is 13 inches wide(33 cm) It measures 32 inches from the top of the ceiling attachment to the bottom of the shades(81 cm) I believe it was rewired within the last 30 years. Very beautiful! We are pleased to offer this antique(c1940s) French. Louis XVI styled brass and crystal chandelier. This lovely, elegant fixture is LOADED with crystal details. The chandelier frame is brilliant brass, open cage design, with an incised, faux twist pattern on the arms. The frame is a delicate brass cage which is scrolled on the top and bottom. The frame attaches to the bottom of the chandelier in between each arm. The top of the fixture has a total of 8 large crystal florettes attached to the scrolled frame. There are 8 of the florettes toward the lower section of the frame as well. There are 3 tiers of crystal beaded chains which attach horizontally to the fixture. The top section of chain features a large, blue, raindrop crystal which hangs(vertically) in the center of the chains. The middle row of chains have a 4 bead crystal ... morechain that hangs vertically in the center. The bottom tier of horizontal chains do not have a vertical feature as the candle sleeves rise at this mid section. The bottom of the chandelier features 9 blue raindrop crystals. Antique 1920's Art Deco Crystal& Brass 5 Arm Electrified Chandelier This is old. Probably post WWI/ 1920's from the glass, which has a great Art Deco look. The glass is thick and sturdy. The wiring looks like the kind you find in old knob and tube electrical and it would certainly need rewiring. It does have a great look and all of the parts appear to be here including the collar that fits to the ceiling and the chain and its hardware necessary to hang it. As for the metal. I believe it is brass or something with brass plating over it. Some spots show the wear on the surface and I would take steel wool to it as the underneath looks like brass also. There are also a few rust spots on the very bottom that could benefit from a good cleaning. Restored, it would make a lovely addition to a post Victorian, Art Deco building. Vintage brass five double arm ten light Spanish chandelier ceiling light fixture
For sale is an absolutely beautiful vintage brass Spanish style chandelier. The actual chandelier measures about 24 inches across and about 20 inches down. This part is connected to a decorative Spanish chain that is about 16 inches long and of course is connected to the matching brass canopy. This gives the total length for the chandelier hanging down from the ceiling to be about 38 inches. You could make it shorter or longer by adding or eliminating some of the links in the chain. The chandelier has five arms that have double bulb holders giving the total number of bulb holders to be ten(gives off a lot of light) The bulb holders take smaller chandelier bulbs and are covered with decorative candle covers. Some of the candle covers do show some wear around the top and one of the candle covers has been replaced(It is a little whiter in color ... morebut not very noticeable) Both things are very minor and as you can see from the pictures does not deter from the beauty or function of chandelier. The chandelier has the original cloth covered wiring and is in working order. The chandelier is a solid decorative brass with a great antique patina. The chandelier has 71 three inch tear drop prisms(size includes hexagon part) 5 ten inch crystal strands, and one larger cut crystal hanging down the center that measures about 2 1/2 inches by 2 inches(without crystal balls) This is a very beautiful light fixture that would bring instant charm and sophistication to whatever room you place it in. Antique primitive brass candle chandelier up for auction. I wish it was marked. I know it is old. But don't know exact age or style. The arrow reminds me of a Colonial style. The crown feathery leafy thing makes me think French. Please e-mail if known, love the history part of this. It is all brass. It would be great for a person to re-do. It needs some arms. It holds five arms but only two are present. The two there are just rotating there, not loose and free but not tight. The arrow shaft is not straight on top or bottom. Maybe someone tried to repair, I see some solder in places. The ball only has one dent and some scratching. Please check pictures good.
