The finial is actually a switch. You can turn on just two bulbs. Three, or all five. In an age before residential dimmers were available(a post-WWII innovation) such a feature must have seemed a wonder. The chandelier retains all its original components. Including the chain and ceiling canopy. The vertical wire is new. And cloth-covered like the original. Wholly restored and with new wiring. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs. COLOR: See above. As well. The shades are a very pale beige, with amber-tinted upper edges. SIZE: The fixture hangs down about 37-inches and is 19-inches wide. I can remove up to 19-inches of chain; I can add chain. CONDITION: I love writing this: there’s no damage. There is some very subtle wear to the copper and silver finishes. The ceiling canopy appears to be plated; this. Up close, shows some minor loss. In heavy solid gilt bronze with a gorgeous warm patina. Dating to the late 19th century it is classic Louis XV with roccoco foliate scrolls and detailing. It has three beautiful curved branches carrying the electrical light fittings with the original wooden faux candle covers. It comes complete with three charming petite creamy white satin shades finished with gold thread passamenterie braiding. It is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs and is in working order although the wiring is old and so should be checked before use. We are pleased to offer this wonderful. Antique chandelier. This beautiful fixture features brass construction and hardware with pierced brass"slip shade" fitters. The center body of the chandelier is a large etched/cut glass vase with deeply incised pattern. The slightly curved 5 arms house exceptional cut glass/crystal, brandy snifter style shades. The shades have a deeply etched/cut grape and vine pattern. These slip shades simply sit into the fitter of the socket with no attachment screws. They are beautifully shaped and substantial in circumference for a fixture of this size. The fixture is in very nice antique condition. The brass has the expected aged patina which is beautiful. The shades are very good with some wear around the fitter area. The chandelier has the original cloth wiring. Beautiful Large Antique Carnival Glass Light Fixture Shades. Set of 2. Found in a house built in the 20's and guessing they are original to the house or added shortly after being built. These are beautiful heavy glass.I have never seen any like this and couldn't find any similar on Ebay. They would really set off a chandelier or be nice on a pair of table lamps. The top appears to fit a standard 2" fitter. They are 6 1/4"tall and 6 3/4" wide at widest section. The color would go with just about anything. Top is clearish- whiteish and bottom is a simple iridescent caramel color. Beautiful heavy glass with no scratches or cracks. Several small chips to bottom edge. One chip is larger than the others. But still doesn't detract from the glass(this is the chip that is shown in the picture) Bottom edge is thick and appears ... moreto have been machine cut when made.I really wonder if some of the chips are part of the manufacturing. In any case, due to the texture and sheen of the glass they are not really that noticeable. Please see pictures.

This is a set of three(3) lovely Vintage Glass Shades that feature a delicate& most beautiful beaded design and scalloped edges. They are truly gorgeous in person! They measure approx. 4" tall x 5" in large diameter on top x 2 3/16" in small diameter on the mounting lip. These vintage glass shades would make an awesome addition to any home's decor or collection. And would make a great gift, too! The pictures above show the condition of the actual items you will receive, as I don't use stock photography. These vintage shades are in excellent condition! They are very clear and show no yellowing. Upon very close inspection they show only very minor chipping on the mounting lips. Other than that. This exceptional. Ca 1900, solid brass and cast brass nouveau styled fixture has been just been professionally polished, lacquered and new wiring. The fixture hangs 28" from the ceiling with the gorgeous matching iridescent shades installed. The diameter of the fixture is about 18" and the ceiling canopy is 8" in diameter. The heavy chain is solid brass and new pull chain light sockets are installed under the leaves. This impressive looking antique chandelier is ready to hang and will greatly enhance the decor of any room. Vintage 3 Arm Wall Fixture Sconces - French Nouveau Deco, beautiful shades
Up for auction is a beautiful vintage 3 arm wall light fixture. It is in wonderful condition and fully functional. This was removed from my grandmother's apartment when she moved a couple months ago. And was working 100% when removed. It is art nouveau/ deco style to emulate something from the 1890's to the 1920's, but very likely made in the 60's so you can rest assured it has relatively modern wiring and costs alot less than a true original of that era. Silver metal plated or gilded brass(not sterling or silver plate, just silver colored) Comes with beautiful spotted glass shade, as well as an unused extra glass shade! This one is custom made to silver, my grandma told me the story of how they had it custom done to match the bathroom as it was decorated. Beautiful Double Arm Solid Brass Wall Light Sconce w/shades-Ornate-Reversible
This light is not brass plated. It's high quality solid brass made. Of course the arms have to have a hole in the for the wire to feed thru but there's nothing cheap about this beautiful ornate brass light. I don't see a makers name on it but that's not unusual for any light of any age. It's versital because it can be mounted up or down depending on your needs. It doesn't have the cross plated behind it for mounting but you can find those at any home improvement store such as lowes, most of the time, there's already one there if your taking one down to put this one up.
