All new modern sockets and wiring but with high quality brass casting and design. This is a large fixture and the pictures may not convey the scale. It measures 63" tall x 33" wide. It is perfect for a Victorian entryway or stairway. You would need tall ceilings for this one. Check out the pictures. The detail is beautiful. Cast Griffins and torches are right out of the 1800's. This fixture is not marked but in excellent condition. The 5 brass arms have gas key turns and nice solid brass shade holders in a period style. Shades are hand tooled glass. Antique Victorian Beaded Ruffled Satin Glass Chandelier Light Fixture Globe Gas
This late 1800s/early 1900s satin finish and clear globe measures 8” x 7 ¾” with a 4” fitter lip. It is dirty with old paint spatters and a very large chip in the fitter lip(almost all of the chip will be hidden by the right shade holder) It most likely was used on an electric chandelier or down draft gas light and is a hard to find larger size in a very popular style globe. For sale is a wonderful matching set of electrified antique lights. These are wired with new wires and sockets and both have the original etched glass shades which are quite large(3” fitter and 7 1/2” wide at the top. The lights are in very good condition with minimal signs of wear. There a few bumps and dings that are only visible with very close inspection. There are a couple of small places with tarnish. But those could be polished up easily. While these are a matching set. It does appear that over the years a couple of pieces have been replaced. The bottom finial pieces are different and the fitter on one is ornate and the other is simple(See pictures. Also, as you can see from the pictures they were hung using chains and simply plugged into an outlet. This chandelier is a beauty! Formerly a gas light. It is fully restored and electric addes. The only imperfection is a slight chip on one of the etched shades as shown in the close up picture. You will also note that the edges of the shades vary slightly even though they appear to be just alike. The chandelier measures approximately 31 1/2" tall by 32 inches wide. Local pickup would be the best scenario but will work with the buyer if shipping is necessary. This is a very old chandelier and the glass shades are original.

Beautiful little sconce. And has a very unique acorn finial on the pull chain. The set screws on the pierced top fitter are pretty little flowers, and all three are present. It was in use in our 1891 home until just recently when we opened up a wall to the reading nook it was in to make a master bath. I suspect it was there from when the house was wired to replace the gas lights. Our town. Bellefonte, was the second town to be electrified after Edison's home town! The sconce is wired and ready to go. But please an electrician or knowledgeable person double check the wiring to your satisfaction since it is not a new piece. The wiring is cloth covered, but doesn't look original, so may have been rewired more recently. The piece is marked 250V Hubbel 250W on the socket. And Pat Applied For on the arm. Ornate Flowers & Leaves~Antique Victorian Etched Glass~Gas Lamp/Light Shade~4" F
Unusual antique etched light shade with all over ornate floral. Leaf and vine pattern. Detailed acid etching. This Victorian era shade most likely dates to the 1870s to 1890s. About 3-3/4" tall. 4" fitter, and just about 7-5/8" wide at the top. In lovely condition for its age. It has a little slight roughness around the fitter, but no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. One area on the inside has some tiny texture bumps, almost like hairspray got on it. It is part of the glass, and not visible, but thought I'd mention it. It will be carefully packaged for shipping. But was turned into this wonderful candle holder and very high quality. it has exquisite ornate detailing and holds 2 candles. it is made from thick heavy bronze and has a wonderful patina from age. it is highly embossed with beautiful scroll work. The fixture measures 33” tall x 18” x 10” and is all brass with ¾” diameter stem. 5” diameter canopy and lots and lots of finely cast brass ornament in the French Rococo flavor. It retains original surface color overall and boats an outrageous asymmetrical design with twisting gas arms flanking a 3 ¼” drop shade holder, presumably for a stalactite shade. Antique Victorian Era Gas Burner - Lamp - Heater - Stove
An unusual old hanging burner- lamp- heater- stove. The top round fuel tank is made of tin. The long arm is steel with brass fittings. The round container would hold gas. Kerosene or oil. Not sure which- It is 36" long. It has a patent date of the Jan. 1876. It appears to be in very good condition. We haven't tried it. And don't know if it works. There is a round hangar on the top back. It could be hung in different rooms in the house or moved and hung in the barn. It would have provided light and heat to warm something up. Old Vintage Antique Victorian Gothic Bronze Gargoyle or Griffin Sconce Gas Light. It is approx 16" tall and 16" wide without lamp part added. It is made of bronze except for the tail and the lamp which are made of wrought iron. There is a bat figure as the knob which turns the gas to it on or off. The lamp needs a new clip to secure it in place right. Now it just hangs on by its tail. You can make one from a paper clip or something like that I'm sure. There is some kind of gold paint on it and it looks like there is a small crack in the decorative piece above the wings. Other than that it's in great shape for its age. Vintage Brass Victorian Gas Style Hanging Ceiling Chandelier Double Shade
For your consideration is a brass ceiling fixture probably from the later 20th century which looks reminiscent of a Victorian gas lamp. It is ready to hang from most standard electrical ceiling boxes. Complete with straps. It is just as it was taken down. The lamp holders are porcelain, the rest of the lamp appears to be brass(it is non-magnetic) The canopy is separated where it looks to have been soldered at one time, but functions. The outside measurements are approx. 18" wide x 24" long, from the end of the pipe to the bottoms of the sockets. The brass is discolored, there are signs of solder at some joints, and the canopy is in two rather than one piece. There are only three set screws to hold the shades in the fixture, instead of six(three are missing) The two arms are similar, but the bends are slightly different. Antique Victorian Era, Black, Cast-Iron Gas Lamp Post/ light pole
This is a really nice old Victiorian era gas street light. Or yard light post. Don't know the exact age, but definitely old. It's very heavy, too, maybe as much as 200-300 pounds) but comes apart in 3 sections, which makes it much easier to transport(carred 2 in my Suburu Outback when i bought them) I am listing this as local pickup only, but if you want to purchase and have shipped, I would prefer that you make those arrangements yourself. I have electrified this for indoors. At one time I owned 2 and they were used as a headboard for a bed(actually pretty cool) They were electrified for that purpose. I have sold one already, and since we can no longer use this one in our home, though hesitant to sell, I really need to. if you have tall ceilings this is great for indoor use. It is 102 inches tall from the floor to the top of the ... morefinial above the light housing. It would be pretty simple to wire it for outdoor use, or even return it to gas. The individual I sold the other one to plans to convert his back to gas. This particular lamp came from the UK, either England, but possibly Wales. I can't find any marks on it, though, to definitively prove that. It has an access panel on the base(see pictures) with 2 screws holding it in place. Unfortunately, the screws are rusted solid, and will have to be re-tapped I imagine. The only other dimension I took was for the cross just below the lamp, it is 24 inches across. Will be glad to answer any questions you might have as promptly as possible.
