Antique Tudor Revival Medieval Gothic Deco Nouveau Moe-Bridges Style Chandelier
This is an antique chandelier light fixture with five lights. It came out of a victorian home and was probably a replacement when the gaslights were taken out. It looks like a Moe-Bridges light fixture but I am not sure because I can't find any marks on it. It has been professionally rewired and works great. It is heavy and made of brass and painted metal. It has red. Green and gold colors in the decoration. There are some chips on some of the painted areas especially the finial that hangs down on the bottom of the fixture. I didn't want to change or alter the finish at all so I left it as is. I hung the fixture on a ladder to photograph it hanging but I am sure it would look much better hanging from the ceiling in your home. The actual body of the fixture measures 25" long and about 20" wide. The chain and ceiling cover ... moremeasure another 24" long. The fixture and chain measure approximately 49" long. The iron is quite rusty and the paint is flaking off so it needs to be refurbished and painted. Also missing is some type of shade not sure what it would have been but there are 4- twisted design arms with threads at the ends for the shade to fit to as shown in my pictures. This is a great old light and will look stunning when refinished. The measurements of this fixture are 14x13 x6 and has a mounting pipe that would go into a wall or post. This is a FANTASTIC and REALLY HEAVY vintage metal pair of GOTHIC or Medieval Double Candle Wall Sconces! REALLY IMPRESSIVE! The two candles are on an ORNATE SCROLL piece that extends out 4" and is 1" by 1/2" thick. They are very HEAVY! packed weight is 20 lbs! VERY ORNATE with four arrows and scrolls! This is very THICK metal! This piece is 10 1/4" wide and the scrolling is nearly 3/8" thick! It extends from the ORNATELY DETAILED back plate 4" and the candle holders size is 4 5/8" so you can use any candle up to that size. It also has a 1/2" rim around the candles. The back plate is LONG and measures 24 3/8" and is 5 1/8" wide and 1/2" thick. The design is in relief- or raised from the back. The design is a tall tree or plant with ORNATE scrolls. Flowers and leaves coming out of it and ... morethe base is a pedestal vase. There is a large flower on top too. The back is a black velvet like material and has two holes for the nails on top. Great condition with no breaks or dents and only a slight discoloration in the metal at the top corner of one of the sconces and a dot on the other one done when made. Some tiny raised areas but also done when made. Not noticeable. I apologize for not being able to really capture the BEAUTY of these sconces but it seems although I took a LOT of photos the full length ones came out dark on the bottom light on the top! Vintage Wrought Iron Gothic Medieval Castle Style Wall Sconce
Please note: Black& Grayish areas on wall sconce is not two colors or fading. Just dusty of which I have cleaned. Just forgot to wipe it down before taking pics. Here’s another blast from the past during the Gothic Revival style in home décor during the 1960’s and early 1970’s. This Wall Sconce is made out of metal or what was called Pot Metal back in the day and painted over to look like wrought iron. However. This one may be painted cast aluminum. It has a flat satin paint finish and was a less expensive way to get the look one was after without the expense of genuine wrought iron, plus it’s also light weight when hanging on the wall so if it came crashing down it wouldn’t do very much damage to the wall or whatever lied beneath. There is no makers mark on the back. But it does come with a ruby red diamond pattern hobnail glass ... morevotive candle holder which glows beautifully when a candle is lit. The glass votive still has it’s original ribbed rubber band at its base so as to mount into the sconce without it slipping around. There are no cracks, chips or breakage and is in excellent vintage condition. This wall scone measures approximately 17-½” inches tall by 8” inches wide by a depth of 3-½” inches. It is excellent condition for a vintage item. FINE PRINT: As with all vintage/antique items there may be normal wear. 1970's Vintage Genuine Wrought Iron Gothic Medieval Style Wall Sconce
And here we have available this vintage wall sconce also from the 1960's early 1970's in the Gothic Revival style in home décor which is made out of what I believe to be genuine wrought iron metal. It is quite a heavy and a solid piece showing a natural texture finish on the front and a spade shape on top. It has a fluted drip plate and the candle holder cup has a scalloped edge. There is a gold brass crown piece around the candle holder part which I assume used to hold a tall glass cover over the candle which is missing. There is no makers mark. But it does have the number 1127 embossed into the back. It does not come with a votive glass candle holder since it's meant to hold a tapered candle of which there is some minor residue in the cup. It measures approximately 12" inches tall with the ruffled base 3" inches ... morein diameter. There are no cracks, chips or breakage and is in excellent vintage condition. Medieval Castle Chandelier - Wrought Iron (Steel) - Gothic - Renaissance Style
MADE IN AMERICA HUGE Antique Gothic Style 12-Light Castle Chandelier made out of thick heavy gauge steel to look like wrought iron in order to reduce the tension weight on a ceiling. It’s still a hefty piece and one quarter of the weight of something made from wrought iron. But still gives you the look and feel of medieval style castle lighting. Chandelier measures 4’ feet across and approximately 12” inches tall to the top of the sockets. The round candle plate holders underneath the sockets are approximately 8" inches across. The swag chain hangs another 36” inches from the ceiling downward. I really hate parting with it since it took me two years to save up enough money to purchase it and was planned for a renaissance style booth building. To purchase something on this large a scale in genuine wrought iron would cost $5.000-$6,000 ... moreor possibly more, so if you want to save some money and go for function, style and the look of a medieval gothic lighting for your home or booth this is a less expensive and a better alternative cost effective chandelier. Besides. You wouldn’t have to worry about your ceiling crashing in from the weight of genuine wrought iron. Note the hammer marks and detail on the axe and hanger. This pair of lights measure 14" tall by 5 1/4" wide and stand out from the wall 7 1/2" The sconces have their original textured glass shades. One of the shades does have three chips around the fitter mouth, it does not affect them holding in the fitter and does not show when the sconces are together. I am unsure of the exact metal composition that this chandelier is made from. This chandelier measures 17" across by 28" tall. The heigh measurement includes the ceiling mount and the chain. It weighs 9.2 pounds. I have not tested this lamp so I am unsure if it works. It is is good condition with no breaks, bends, or repairs present. It would look great as a candelabra. This a fabulous antique Stickley Era hammered brass and wrought iron hanging pendant lamp. It measures 17" tall and the design is that of the Arts& Crafts/ Spanish Revival Era featuring florets. Leaves, and a beautiful large amber glass prism. It is very detailed and has a hammered surface that appears copper in color although I believe the metal is actually brass or wrought iron. The upper part of the lamp is brass as is shown by the interior section. The original cloth wiring is still intact and lamp is in good working condition but the new owner may want to have wiring replaced just to be safe. All are in very good condition but the amber prism does have flea bite nicks around the edges. Antique Gothic 6 Arm Wrought Iron and Pressed Tin Medieval Chandelier Dungeon
This is a larger 6 arm Gothic Wrought Iron and pressed tin chandelier. Looks like it belongs in a Medieval Dungeon. I am not sure of the pressed material but the main structure is wrought iron. Measures about 30 inches across and 12 or 13 inches tall. It is rusty and needs to be cleaned up and rewired. I did put a bulb in one of the sockets and plugged it in and it lit up but it doens't look safe. I think this was probably made to be direct wired and someone put a plug on it so it could be just plugged in. Some of the sockets are wobbly. It has a chain on top for hanging. This is very heavy as well. I don't know the maker or age of this chandelier. I think there was a piece of glass inside the wire center at one time but not since I have had it. Castle design ceiling cap and socket bobeches are common to that era of lighting. The dainty looking flowers in the center of the body add a softer touch to the medieval theme. The chain even looks of the period. All but the chain is made of heavy cast brass/bronze. The outstanding painted finish is completely original, just professionally cleaned and sealed to preserve its beauty. All that's been replaced are socket covers and wiring for safety. Up for consideration is a fine set of 7 double arm bronze Gothic/Tudor/Medieval wall sconces. The sconces measure 14 1/2 inches tall 9 1/2. They are bronze with two arms with a back plate that has a variety of themes. There is some panther heads that are peeping out from behind a shield. There are some Art Nouveau type floral embellishment in the center. A Gothic stained glass window type back drop with a winged Gargoyle on the bottom. Some of the sconces have a blue backplate and a few have a burgundy color. Both look to be original coloration. Two other sconces have been painted and sometime in the past with a silver color and one sconce has been stripped completely of color.These sconces are of nice scale not too big but chunky enough to display in a room with a 10. 12 or 14 foot ceiling. You are bidding on this vintage pair of light shade. They are a very deep amber color. Carmel color. The glass is blown into a ribbed metal“cage” Very different, and ancient looking. The glass is thick with lots of texture in it. It’s a large shade. 9 1/2" tall, 7" wide, and opening at bottom 3 1/2" diameter. This shade weighs about 2 1/2 lbs each. The rim is rough around the edges as they is hand blown primitive, thick glass. There are tiny paint flecks on it, as seen in pics. Circa 50- 80 years old, in excellent condition! Vintage Dart Gothic Medieval Gold 5 candle holder Wall Sconce Victorian 1969 Wall mount candle holder with chains. The back is embossed: Copyright MCMLXIX- 1969. Dart IND. Made in USA, 4072 The gold material is a molded plastic resin with a medieval design. The wall sconce holds 5 candles. It has two chains which are connected to a plastic gothic medallion. Measurements: 31" long side to side 4" candle holder sets off the wall 27" tall from the top of the medallion to the bottom of the candle holder The medallion is 6" across Hangs by a hook in the medallion and two hooks at the ends of the long arm. Excellent condition- has an aged look. This is quite an inspiring piece.

This is a large vintage 7 torch candle sconce. It measures 41 1/2 inches long and 10 inches tall(torches) and stands out from the wall about 7 inches. It has little spikes on the inside at each torch I think to string a chain from each torch to a center spot above the sconce for a more dramatic dungeon look. I don't have any chains but this thing looks great without chains or chains could be added. This is a gothic Medieval looking metal sconce and it has a couple ilets for hanging. VINTAGE Gothic Medieval 5 arm Chandelier Light Fixture Shields Works
For your consideration is a great Gothic feeling Chandelier. Nice smaller size for an entry way or over a table. Has 5 arms with grey shields between each one. Deco ribbing at each arm. Shown that it works with wick bulbs. The bulbs are not included. I would think you could put 5 slip shades on this if you wanted to or just bulbs like I am showing. The shades would have to be 1 3/4" fitter diameter. On Off switch is located on the center tip. One turn will turn on 2 bulbs and 2 turns turns all of them on. Chandelier Measures 13" across. Approximately 12 to 12 1/2" long and can hang approximately 30" from the ceiling and adjusted up with its chain. The chandelier is a cast aluminum maybe with no magnet adhering to it. The middle portion, chain and ceiling plate is metal. You can see it does show age to it with some missing ... morepaint here and there. You could easily repaint it or leave it as. The wiring from the ceiling to the lamp appears to be newer with the original wiring inside the lamp. I would have it inspected by an electrician prior to hanging it in your house. The numbers 11568 are stamped on the inside of the chandelier. Regular size bulbs with this one. I see no voltage listed. Ceiling plate is without screws. Great light. This is a stunning high quality antique solid cast iron Gothic electric chandelier. It is made with an abundance of intricate ornate detailing. Made of thick iron, and is extremely heavy. it has acquired a wonderful patina from age and has a beautifully textured/hammered finish. it has a nice bronzed finish with several colored embellishments. it has 5 very detailed arms and each holds a generic sized bulb. they have ornate socket covers that match the chandelier and topped with painted brass ball topped finials. the chandelier mounts flush to the ceiling with the large ornate canopy which is mounted to the rest of the chandelier. so it does not dangle it is a stationary chandelier. the piece measures 18 1/2 inches tall by 17 3/4 inches wide. it is in nice shape. It is wired but the wiring wrapping is peeling in some areas. could prob use ... moresome replacement wiring but is all exposed and would be simple to run. ANTIQUE 1920's MEDIEVAL GOTHIC 3 Matching VINTAGE HANGING BRASS HALL LIGHT FIXTURES A matching set of 3. Antique 1920's, hanging light fixtures with a Gothic or Medieval appearance. They are made from solid brass and have a hammered and riveted design to almost all the parts(even the piece that holds the candle cover in place) They are all electric, take standard size bulbs, and appear to have the original(very old) wiring. Each Fixture measures approximately 18" high x 5 5/8" in diameter(of the large circle saucer) x 7 3/8" across the handles on the saucer. These fixtures look to be in good condition with no breaks, cracks, or repairs to the brass. All three are missing their smoke bells that would hang down in the middle. There is some wear to the finish on the brass with minor spots, or speckling, of white paint(not ... morenoticeable) All parts look original. One has some bending the the louvers on the bottom(see photo) The cardboard candle covers need to be replaced because they have holes, tears, and soiling. The old wiring should be replaced. Pair of Cast Iron Medieval Gothic Wall Sconces Candle Holders Non Electric
Here is a nice old set of cast iron wall sconces/ candle holders. These are iron(magnetic) and measure about 10 1/2" high. 8 3/4" wide, 5" deep. I believe there should be a candle holder, or some type of piece that screws into each tray to hold the candle, as the piece in each tray is threaded. A great gothic looking design to these pieces. Antique Gothic Medieval Wall Sconce Light Fixture with Castle Battle Axe Presented for sale is an Antique Gothic Medieval Wall Sconce Light Fixture. Very cool looking antique sconce. Measures approx. 11" inches in height. 5 1/2" width, and 8 1/4” inches depth. The wall base measures 5 1/2” x 8 3/4” inches. No mounting hardware. This does NOT have a glass globe. You should be able to find a nice one at any Menard’s. Lowes, or Home Depot. They don’t cost much, and you get the look you want. As mentioned above- there is no mounting hardware. It appears to mount using the center hole(need to purchase a light fixture bolt) We’ve seen similar ones being sold. But always painted in a plain silver pewter. I believe this one was professionally repainted in gold with red& green accents. Just my opinion… it looks much better than the plain ... moresilver sconce. In Excellent Condition. Up for consideration is a set of 4 wall sconces. They measure 14 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches wide by about 5 1/2 inches deep. They date from about 1915 or so.
