Antique Vintage Lighting Shades Pair of Frosted Painted Shades 2 1/4" Fitter
Here is a pair of frosted shades that were removed from a home that dated from the 1920's. I'm not sure if they are original. But they appear to be from that era. The exterior is frosted and the interior is painted. There are a good amount of'flea bites' on the exposed edges. Check photos for condition. The flea bites along the lower lip of both shades are numerous but there are no chips from damage. These will be shipped in an over-sized box for protection. ANTIQUE Vintage REVERSE HAND-PAINTED Slag Glass& Metal Art-Deco Lighting Lamp Shade Gorgeous vintage lighting shade for ceiling lighting fixture or hanging sconce/floor lamp. Metal structure with what looks like brass or bronze overlay and alternating sky blue slag glass panels and reverse hand-painted glass panels. I have it held up to light in photos 5-7 to show detail. It measures 9" long(not including hanging finial) and 5.75" wide at the top sloping down to 3.5" wide at the bottom. It has a 3" fitter as measured from the interior with a lip for affixing screws. Antique Brass Hanging Lighting Fixture, Painted Black, For Restoration
This very old hanging porch lantern is brass under the black paint. It was electrified at some point but would need to be rewired. The bulb receptacle contraption looks like a fairly new addition and I'm quite certain that it was originally made to hold a candle or lantern. I have removed the glass panes as they were loose and will ship more safely. They have a slight texture. Are dirty and two of the four have a couple of chips around the edges. The lamp has little notches into which they should fit but it might be necessary to use glue to keep them in place. I'm not sure if the chain which seems to be made of iron is original to the lamp. The fixture is about 12" long and about 6-1/2" wide at the widest point. Vintage Architectural Black Painted Brass Outdoor Street Lamp Lighting Lantern
Up for auction is a vintage antique outdoor 19" street lamp style brass metal painted black lantern. Recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It is found in good used condition but has many losses to its original black paint. It does not attract a magnet so you will not have rust issues with this piece. The top has been caved in and might pop back up, uncertain. This would have been wall mounted, common in cities outside large stores ca 50's maybe even 60's, indicated by the wires and inner porcelain fixture's threading. This has Union made stickers. The 6 beveled glass sides all appear in good order with just small losses here and there to corners, quite dirty however. Quite attractive vintage outdoor lighting collectable. Vtg 1940's Lighting Ceiling Fixture by GLOBE Floral Reverse Painted Glass LUCITE All I can say is WOW! This is a 1940's Ceiling Fixture by Globe that has a Frosted Glass Reverse painted Shade with Floral Design. Done with Beautiful Bright Colors. It has a Silver Plated metal top with Clear Lucite Scrolls on the top as well. The outside Rim is Pierced Brass. Measures aprox 8 1/2" tall. 16" diameter glass and 6 1/4" diameter base. Has the Original GLOBE Lighting Products Co Label. It is in Good Vintage condition with some minor scratches and scuffs all around. Some wear and tarnishing to the Silver plated top, no Breaks or Cracks to the Glass shade, some minor chipping around the hole where the bolt sits, but this is normal for all Vintage glass shades. The Clear Lucite Scrolls are still intact and they have no Breaks ... moreor Cracks. Please note that this is Very Old and I have done nothing to restore this piece. It is being sold AS FOUND. The wiring is very old and I did not test this at all for functionality. It will need to be Hard wired and for safety, I would have it rewired. If you have an older home.
