I am offering a Light Green opaline perfume bottle with Gold enamel trim. I believe it was made in the late 1800's or very early 1900's. The previous owner said it looked like a bud vase to her. The dauber is not included. It has a satin or frosted appearance. It has gold trim on the crown rim. There is also gold around the base. It looks like there was trim around the section above the bulb. There are faint remains of trim there. There is a fleck on the inside of the rim. It is shown in the pictures. Repousse sterling cap and a charming little sterling love token in the shape of a heart. These were often attached to a chatelaine. Inside the hinged cap is a tight fitting glass stopper. The heart has a letter S engraved in script plus the sterling stamp. It does have a couple of shallow dings on the heart, as shown The top of the cap has an S in Old English lettering and a very small, tight tear at the hinge. Wow! These just did not to survive and to have 4 with their original labels is like striking gold! I'm told they are circa1920's-1930's. Sure to delight any serious glass or perfume collector! Antique Chatelaine STERLING SILVER CUT CRYSTAL Perfume Scent Bottle JEWELED LID
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! More photos to come… Up for auction is a Sterling Silver and Cut Crystal Perfume Bottle Chatelaine with Jeweled Lid. The sterling lid has a couple tiny dents which I tried to pick up in the photos for you. Due to the dent the lid is ever so slightly pushed down toward the front of the lid. The hinge is intact but the lid only opens as far as you see it in the photos. The lid also has some give side to side but when it is lined up with the collar it snaps shut fairly tight. I think some of this may movement to the lid/hinge is likely due to whatever happened to it when it took the dent( There is a red jewel on top set into the repousse design. There is a little loop on the back of the lid to attach a chain for a chatelaine. The lid is stamped"sterling" in ... morethe front and I tried to get a photo of this for you. The bottle is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips that I can find. The little funnel is silver tone metal but I am not certain if it is sterling silver or not. However. I bought them together so I am selling them together. Besides, they display so well as a set. It is 2 1/2 inches tall and about 7/8 inch across at the widest part which is near the bottom. A piece of old tape residue on bottom-just clean off. Bottle has lovely tiny. Tiny bubbles that early glass has. It has three seams also proove it is an early piece. Marigold color to glass with some carnival irridescent quality-might be some fading to that from age-hard to tell. Top of bottle is what is called Blow Over(means a ground edge without a lip) That edge has a gold trim that has some wear. It had either a cork, or a decorative stopper originally. Overall height is 8 ¼” Octagonal base is 1 ¾” wide, widest part of bottle itself is 2” in diameter, lid/finial part is 2 7/8” wide x 3 ¾” tall x 3/8” thick. There are some small cracks around the bottle opening as you can see in the photos, it is still nice and solid at the opening where the cracks are, other than that this piece is in great shape. Beautiful Antique glass perfume bottle w Etched 5 petal flowers crystal stopper
This is a lovely etched perfume bottle that I found in my grandmother's attic in a trunk back in the 1990's. It has an etched floral design on two side of the bottle and the flower has 5 petals. The other two sides are the leaves for the flowers. It measures 6 3/4 inches tall including the stopper. The stopper is a wonderful round crystal piece with many facets. At the base of the stopper right before the part that fits into the bottle it has 7 panels. Right below the rim of the bottle there are also 7 panels. The stopper fits perfectly into the bottle and with the matching of the number of facets I believe they were meant to be together. The glass the bottle is made of has a wonderful feel to it as in fine glass. It has no chips or cracks and no staining.

19th Century Antique Tantalus with Three Crystal Perfume Bottles circa 1875
This piece was recently dated to pre 1900 by an expert in the field. Gorgeous original Tantalus offered for auction. I purchased this piece 12 years ago. The bottles were are not the size of the normal decanter ~ more like perfume bottles. During the time this was sold originally. The bottles could have held very fine liqueurs for ladies. The bottle in the middle is not part of the matching set ~ although it may be the more valuable of the three due to its sterling silver collar and the makers marks. Additionally. It's possible the stopper to one of the other bottles is not original. It doesn't seem to fit securely in the neck of the bottle like the other one does ~ but that could just be my OCD; Overall. Considering this 7 piece set is about 140 years old.it's in remarkable shape. The linings are also very nicely preserved. There ... moreis no evidence of water damage to the wood or the fabric ~ something I would always look for. While there is a key hole. There is no key. The brass fittings are in very good shape. The beveled glass on the front is in amazing shape. There are no scratches or nicks. The box is 6 1/2" high with the lid closed. 4 1/2" high with the lid open, it's 7 3/4" long at the base and 3 3/4" deep. The entire set weighs 2 pounds, 2.4 ounces. GORGEOUS VINTAGE/ ANTIQUE PERFUME BOTTLE Clear glass. Hand decorated. Age and Manufacturer Unknown. Bulb needs replacing. Inner glass pipette has been broken off. But I will include the piece if you want to repair or restore this beautiful bottle. It has been in storage for years and could use a gentle cleaning. For your consideration is this charming antique porcelain Perfume Bottle with Crown Stopper. Dimensions: 2" x 2" This piece is in Excellent Condition with NO chips. Cracks, or crazing. A floral print in shades of rust, black, and gold adorn both sides of the piece. The stopper is gold in color and has not been used. Germany is the country of origin.
