Up for auction is a Cut Glass Perfume Bottle ot Decanter with a Hallmarked ... moreSterling Silver Lid. I am not good with hallmarks but I have taken a photos for you. The lid is huge and beutifully decorated. The hinge works perfectly and the sterling lid is secure to the bottle. The inside of the lid still retains it's nice gold wash. There is a dent to the lid as you will see in the photos. The bottle is free of chips. Cracks& repairs. However, whatever liquid used to be stored in this bottle has left a residue to the top 1/4 of the bottle. It has also left the rest of the bottle with an slightly iridescent cast to it. Very strange but you will see what I mean in the photos. This is one of those bottles you almost pass up but then just due to it's size and lovely details in the lid and cut glass you decide it's worth the trouble. I have not attempted to remove the"residue" so perhaps some of it will come off ~ I do not know. I have broken too many a bottle while trying to scrub them up. So now just a light dusting and if they are presentable- I leave the major cleaning to you. The bottle is heavy and I imagine just the silver lid alone would be worth a bit of money. The lid is 2 1/4 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches across at the widest. Shoot. Just the lid is as big as some sterling silver bottles alone! The total height of the bottle(lid& glass) is 6 1/4 inches tall and the width across the widest part is 3 1/2 inches. Just so you know what a conversation piece it is.when my daughter asked what used to be in the bottle I told her it was probably"the potion of some Mad Victorian Era Scientist.maybe Frankenstien himself" I couldn't resist having a little fun at her expense. A pair of antique French opaque gray art glass perfume/scent bottles. From the base to the top of the stopper they measure 8-7/8" tall. Enameled white dot trim on stopper as well as gold accent. Hand painted design on each bottle is absolutely beautiful. Raised enamel on the petals and leaves. Beautiful detail on the butterflies. These bottles are in good condition with no cracks in the glass. There is a very tiny chip on one of the stopper at the very top where the white accent dots are placed. Beautiful set of three miniature Chatelaine Scent Bottles. Circa 1860. All still have their small corks/tops. Two have small black beads on the top of the corks. The third does not have one. And I'm not sure if it ever did. However it closes and opens effectively. All three are in wonderful shape and have lovely designs. There are two that have a similar top portion, with a kind of folded texture. These comes from my mom's antique collection and have been well looked after for decades. PAIR ANTIQUE BLUE OPAQUE GLASS SCENT / PERFUME BOTTLES C. 1880~HAND ENAMELED
Here we have a very beautiful pair of Antique Victorian Art Glass Perfume bottles. The blue opaque glass is all hand blown and decorated. The bottles are in mint condition with only some gold wear. The white enamel is just the best showing the flowers against the glass in high art glass style. The bottles stand 10 1/4" tall by 3" in dia at the middle wide point. There are not chips cracks nor breaks that we can find. The one top finial is not as rounded as the other. The gold trim is worn on the bottles from over 120 years of normal use. Each bottle is marked on the bottom with its own number. One is 50 the other is 52. We would call these Bristol glass due to their enameled decoration. Must see in person to fully appreciate. Antique 1800's pair Forget-me-not porcelain perfume scent vanity dresser bottles
This auction is for a absolutely sweet pair of antique dresser perfume scent bottles. Although unsigned; these were probably made in Paris. France in the 1800's. They measure 2 1/2" tall including the stopper x 2" x 2" Without the stopper. They measure 1 7/8" tall. Basically a square cushion shape. They are decorated with tiny blue Forget-Me-Nots with sprays of delicate leaves in gold leaf; the edges are also accented in gold leaf. These pieces are not cracked and have not been re-glued. Issues: Overall in very pleasing condition; there is some wear on the gold leaf. In addition; the porcelain is discolored due to wear on the un-glazed areas(bottom. Inside neck and stopper base) There is one tiny flake on the upper lip(in the gold leaf) of one of the bases; and a small flake off the bottom of one stopper. The most ... morenotable damage is that both stoppers each have a notable chip in one corner(see last photo) These are very pleasing pieces and unusual to find a pair. Group of 3 ~ Vintage Antique.800 European Silver Sterling Grade& Crystal Large Perfume/ Scent Bottles& Powder Jar This is one of more than 60 estate items which we will be listing over the next several days. ~~~~ This vintage lady’s vanity or dresser trio consists of the pieces listed below. Two large perfume/cologne bottles and a big powder jar. These pieces are made of crystal with cut fan designs and ground/polished bases. The silver elements are.800 purity(European standard) and have elaborate guilloche(also called engine-turned) engraving. The monogram shield panels are bare so you can personalize. If you wish. Large Scent Bottle: about 5 1/4” high; 4” in diameter. T he bottle collar and silver cap are not marked. The glass stopper has a ¼” chip under grip(see photo) and a tiny nick on the ground/polished bottom. No chips ... moreor scratches on the crystal. Medium Scent Bottle: still quite sizable at 5” high; 4” in diameter. The bottle collar and silver cap are not marked. The glass stopper has a3/8” angle chip on the bottom p(see photo) There is a ¼” U” shape indent just under the top of the silver cap. IF the crystal cutting appears a bit indistinct. It is the light mist of water on the inside walls from clearing. No chips or scratches on the crystal. Crystal Powder Jar: 4 ½” in diameter. And 2 ¾” high. The lid has a bright silver-plated interior; it is stamped on the outside with the 800 and monogram hallmarks. No chips or scratches on the crystal. We date this set from between 1920- 1950. We believe that it was made in Italy as the owner had many silver dresser and table items from Italy in her home. Very elegant French late 19th century set of four perfume bottles with cut glass stoppers in a neoclassical style gilt metal caddy. The metal work is in excellent condition throughout. Pictures show how the gold colour change between daylight and electric light. Three bottles have some damage. One with chip to the neck. One with small piece reglued to neck. Beautiful Vintage White China Scent Bottles w/Metal Carrier; c.late1940's-1950's
This is a fabulous older set of scent bottles with its own metal carrier. There is no makers mark on the bottles or caddy; I would date this set back to the late 1940's through the 1950's. The set is very well made. And in excellent condition. There is no rust on the metal, and all the bottles have their original lids. I see no chips cracks, or paint loss on the bottles. Each bottle has 4 sides, 3 of which have flowers on them; and the 4th side has a romantic cameo on it. The cameos are all different, and the flowers are roses, lilacs, carnations; and a 4th bottle has assorted fruit on the 3 sides. The tops of the bottles have fitted corks attached, and they all close nice and secure. It truly is a charming vanity accessory, from a time long ago past. Antique Victorian Edwardian Perfume Ornate floral leaf Filigree Scent bottles tray not included in listing click picture to enlarge I pleased to be offering this antique pair of hand made mold blown glass scent/perfume/cologne bottles encased with a silver colored filigree overlay. This set comes with one round or globe shaped bottle and one cylinder shaped bottle. Both hand made. They have 3 visible vertical side seams stopping at the bottom neck of the bottle. The round bottle has a flared lip finish where the cylindrical bottle appears to have an applied lip finish. The round bottle and solid matching stopper have a swirl mold blown pattern which is felt from both the inside and outside of the bottle where the cylinder bottle has a smooth finish. Both bottles appear to have been made with removable base plates, however, they do differ, ... moreand the casing makes it difficult to examine. Both stoppers appear to have an original fit, although I question the stopper for the cylinder shaped bottle due to the metal casing not being an exact pattern match as well as it being the only piece to show wear to the casing. The stopper does fit into the bottle nicely as an original stopper would. Characteristics of glass are indicative of glass made in the ca. 1900 time period or earlier. Both created with an elegant silver colored leaf/vine robust casing. This could be silver plate or pewter(not magnetic) True composition remains unknown. These have been black light tested and glow a very deep fluorescent yellow color. Another sign of ca. 1800-1900 dated glass, with the exception of American Brilliant Period which typically glows Apple Green. Keeping in mind all black lights will result in different colors depending on the black light properties. I have tested many different types of glass. Early American Pressed, American Brilliant Cut, Depression Contemporary or Modern, Czech, and other European, and can now leverage my particular black light to distinguish, along with other glass characteristics, time periods and origins

2 Antique 19thc RARE Daum Cut Glass Gilt Cologne Scent Perfume Vanity Bottles
The photos do not do these bottle justice! RARE 19thc. Daum cut glass cologne scent bottles. They looked like rock crystal. But I believe they are glass. Beautifully cut with patterns at the neck, top mid section with roses and ribbons, and at the base. Gold gilt is painted into the engraving. Both bottoms are in gilt(style of mark dates to 19thc, Daum- the Cross of Lorraine- Nancy. One is slightly taller and thick glass than the other. They measure roughly 10 1/2” including the stopper. Faceted on the neck and body. Photographing these was difficult. They were filled with sugar in order to photograph them without the pattern on the reverse showing through. Condition- Intact. No repairs. Wear to the gilt in the carvings. 1 bottle has a chip on the lip. Both stoppers have cracks in the bases of the stopper. No chips or cracks to the bases. ... moreOverall glass clarity is vg- excellent. there are a few spot in body and at the bottom that I couldn’t clean. My bottle brushes are long enough or thin enough to get in there; in other words. I do not know if the glass is stick in spots. I had a memory than these had an internal crack in the body of 1 of them. I can not find it! You will be purchasing this with the knowledge that there might be a 1/2” internal crack. Here we have a pair of Signed antique Moser Alexandrite Glass perfume or scent bottles. This pair is true Alexandrite glass with amazing color change depending on light. You will see Purple. Bright Pink, Grey Blue, Etc. As each bottle is hand made and they show of true Moser elegance. This is a large pair standing aprox 7 1/2 inches tall to top of stoppers. Again, since they are hand blown& cut one stands a bit taller. Aprox 4 inches wide( largest size) They are showy with a combined weight of over 3 Pounds. Both bottles are signed at base. They are in very nice antique condition for being around 80 years old or so. There are abrasions to the bases of both bottles as shown. Very minor flaws to stoppers as shown.
