Pink at the top half, fades to clear at the base, called rubina, satin or acid wash finished perfume bottle with enameled beads and floral decoration with cut angled ovals. Hand painted green detailing enhances the'grass' and upright foliage around the middle of the bottle. An ornate gilt metal(brass? pierced or filigree ball stopper. Stopper screws in and is original with open work, gilt or possibly gold plated. All original, many photos. No chips, nicks or repairs. Interior is clean with no residues or stains from contents. Here we have a very beautiful pair of Antique Victorian Art Glass Perfume bottles. The blue opaque glass is all hand blown and decorated. The bottles are in mint condition with only some gold wear. The white enamel is just the best showing the flowers against the glass in high art glass style. The bottles stand 10 1/4" tall by 3" in dia at the middle wide point. There are not chips cracks nor breaks that we can find. The one top finial is not as rounded as the other. The gold trim is worn on the bottles from over 120 years of normal use. Each bottle is marked on the bottom with its own number. One is 50 the other is 52. We would call these Bristol glass due to their enameled decoration. Must see in person to fully appreciate. The detailing is superb. You can see the individual raised layers of color. Sorry I could get it to show in the photographs. The sides have a cut grove that may have been for some type of string or holder for this wonderful perfume. ... moreThis superb rarity was what I am guessing a Bridesmaid gift or for some important event possibly a symphony. We can only guess now. It is completely hand cut. Every edge is cut and polished including the front and back face. Even the bottom foot was formed by cutting and polishing the glass. There is nothing untouched other then possibly the inside of the neck. I t may have had a stopper at one time. It s hard to tell. It has a musical instrument Motif. I'm guessing the happy couple may have been musicians. There is a violin. French horn(I think) snare drum, and parade drum. The inscription is Zum Andenken Von Josef& Miaria Gridl. Which stands for"In Memory of Von Josef& Miarfia Gridl" Condition is excellent with exception of the chip on the neck shown in photo. Great Perfume Casket W/Original Bottles & Key Egytian Motif. Lacquer Enameled
A most rare and desirable perfume set. The box is in an Egyptian motif with eight enameled brass corners and an enameled key estuations plus the large brass piece with the pharaoh on the top. Retains its original key. Inside are two perfume bottles both bottles are in mint condition. They are numbered and have corresponding numbers on the stoppers. The bottles have gold painted stars on the shoulders and gold on the rim and stopper rim. Both stoppers have some damage. One has a chip on the dauber the other has had the dauber broken off and glued. Neither one shows when the stoppers are installed. The box interior is a beautiful gold and beige velvet and in excellent condition. The box measures 6 inches by about 3 1/4 inches front to back and it stands about 4 inches tall.

Antique Art Glass Perfume Bottle Base Light Purple w Enameled Flowers & Gold
This is an old perfume bottle base acquired from an estate. I have no idea of the age or origin but it appears to be a vintage piece. It is about 3 ½” tall and 2 ½” in diameter at the widest point towards the base. I’m assuming that it had some type of sprayer/atomizer that screwed into the metal top part. The glass is lightweight(almost like blown glass) and clear but has a light purple cast to it. There are enameled white flowers and leaf outlines. The leaves have a gold coloring. It is in used condition. There are no chips to the glass. The base has some surface scratches from use but there are no scratches on the sides. The metal neck top has a deep indent/scratch on the side. Perhaps this is a seam? definitely not a crack) There is some minor residue on the inside. There is a very tiny chip at the end of the pointed stopper top that's pretty hard to even see. The bottle is circa 1890 to 1920. 4 fun little vintage perfume bottles. The fanciest one on the left measures 2& 1/4" tall and is not marked. It has the gold look openwork decorated with white enamel flowers and leaves and blue faceted"jewels" Nice glass bottle has a scallop shell motif on the back.The only blemish is a bit of the perfume must have tarnished the edge of the screw top. You can see what I mean in the last picture. I don't think it's that noticeable. The other 3 have a paper label that says Made in France on the bottom with the approximate weight. All the bottles are glass. The 2nd from the left has gold look metal Eiffl Tower on the front of the bottle. There is also a paper tag around the neck of the bottle that says Sergy Belle De Mai 70. C1850 French Opaline Baccarat Perfume, white & blue, enameled, 8", ground pontil
Description: this is a rare and fine example of a perfume flask fabricated in white opaline glass with a contrasting cerulean torus at the waist and a pointed. Flared stopper. The body of the flask is bell-shaped with a wide pillow rim above the foot; it is encircled in a lively band of Florentine scrolls in yellow, interspersed with small multicolored flowers. This ornate hand-enameled decoration is further enriched with gold. The neck of the flask widens into a crenellated edge finished in gold. There are six simple gold-painted bands around the body and waist. The blue stopper is almost pagoda-like; on a long stem which protrudes from the neck of the flask, it umbrellas the rim and ends in nine points, again divided and finished in gold. Its upper surface is textured as satin glass. Size: 8" high. Including original stopper, with ... morea full diameter of 4" approx. Condition: very good. There are no breaks and no significant chips that I can find. The stopper has a tiny nick on the underside which I have tried to show in the photos by positioning that point against the book. On the upper surface there is a shaving which shows as a shiny spot; other spots appear to be rubbed. Or may not have etched well at the factory. I think it most likely that the apex tip was ground. The base of the body is very smooth, showing the grind marks of leveling the pontil. There are no identifying marks and no signature. The enameled frieze is in good shape but there does exist some small loss to the gold bands. It is particularly difficult to tell if there is much scratching because of the inherent tiny bubbles in the opaline glass. I have found no nicks to the rim and consider it to be very sharp and well-cut. I have owned this piece for many years and have never seen another alike. Though recently I did come across a similar example, all in blue. Should you wish to take a look at it, it is offered online and should be easy to search. If not, by all means e-mail me for details. Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a Ruby Red Perfume Bottle with Atomizer. It has alternating blue. Orange and white designs all around the bottle. The atomizer is silver tone and could use a little polish/cleaning. The bulb is original and it has hardened with age. The internal metal syphon tube is intact. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. I do note some light scratches and dings to the metal collar. There is a gold accent line around the top part of the bottle and at the base and there is a bit of thinning to the gold. Everything I see is normal wear for it's age and nothing out of the ordinary. It is marked on the bottom of the bottle O.E.G. This mark was used by Oscar and Edgar Gutherz of Altrolau. Bohemia(now Stara Role, Czech Republic) from 1899 to 1918. Oscar Gutherz and Maximilian Marx had started a porcelain decorating business in Altrolau in 1884 with financial backing from Lazarus Straus& Sons, an American importer. This is a beautiful little perfume bottle! It stands 2 3/4 inches tall with the top on. It is about 3/8 inches wide. 1/2" deep. The Florentine filigree cap(included in height measurement) is 3/4" tall. The top screws on, and has a glass dauber attached to it. This gem is in perfect undamaged condition! The glass beautifully finished polished. The front& the back of the bottle is hand enameled with royal blue flowers& green foliage. The bottom of the bottle says it was"Made in France" LA CASTILLERE. There is another mark on the base that I cannot quite tell what it is. But it appears to be an upside down T with a P directly on top of the T. Or vice versa. Antique Biedermeier Canary Flint Vaseline Glass Perfume Bottle Enameled c 1840 This is an absolutely gorgeous perfume or scent bottle! I’m not an expert. And at first, I thought that it was Moser or Bohemian. However, after a bit of research, it’s possible that it was made by the Boston& Sandwich Glass company. What I’m a little unsure of is if this is Canary Flint or“vaseline” glass as both glow bright green under an ultraviolet light(see photos) The glass is fairly thick, and it can be either towards a canary or a green color depending on the lighting that it is in. I’ve shot the piece both back lit, and with white and black backgrounds as well as under a UV lamp. The piece is absolutely Biedermeier period in form- the Biedermeier period dates to between 1815 and 1848. The glass is decorated in enamel paint with rosettes, scrolls and ... moregold detailing. The piece measures 7 1/2” in height to the top of the stopper and weighs 9.6 oz. It is in very good condition with the exception of a fleabite type chip to the tip top of the stopper and some similar types of tiny nibbles around the bottom edges. In addition, there is some old perfume residue in the bottom interior of the bottle. The damage is all very negligible and mentioned only in the interest of full disclosure- the piece displays very well. This is a set of two bottles. Both are Cranberry in color. One is a vintage. Countess Collection Bohemian art glass perfume bottle.adorned with raised enamel Lily of the Valley flowers and lush, green leaves. The bottle's neck is accented in gold, and is graced by a border of raised gold scrolls and beading. The stopper is made of crystal clear glass. This lovely piece of art glass is hand painted and hand decorated. It is signed by the artist on the base, and has its original label intact.
