Up for auction is this very interesting and ornate perfume bottle in the form of an eagle with a metal cap. This piece is labeled"Indies Spice" and still has a wonderful aroma in the bottle. Antique English Double Ended Ruby Red Perfume Bottle - Victorian Sterling Silver
A really pretty and charming perfume or scent bottle in a fabulous rich ruby red colour. This is a slightly more unusual example of a Victorian double ended bottle. This one having a cylindrical form rather than the more often seen faceted type. The lids too are a little more unusual, again made from sterling(unmarked as most of these bottles were not) silver with a pretty floral embossed decoration. One end is hinged, with the little glass stopper intact and the other end is a screw-top with the cork to the inside of the lid to keep the liquid from evaporation. Antique 1904 Sheffield Cut Crystal Sterling Silver .925 Scent Perfume Bottle
This beautiful antique cut crystal and sterling silver.925 perfume bottle was made in Sheffield. England, in 1904, by brothers John and William Deakin. The gorgeous repousse lid is detailed with scrolls and flowers and a center shield. Which is un-monogrammed. The hallmark, showing JD over WD, Sheffield, 925, and 1904, is on the collar of the lid. It is in excellent antique condition. With very minor wear, considering its age. Details: The exterior cut glass has no damage, chips or cracks that I see. Very minor shelf wear on the bottom. The silver collar inside the bottle has a small dent, visible in the photos, and only seen when the sterling top is off. The inside edge of the bottle has a thumbnail size hairline crack, which is stable(see photos) The multi-faceted stopper has one fleabite chip on a facet, and a couple of fleabites on the ... moretop and bottom edges, commensurate with use. The repousse part of the sterling lid is almost flawless. With no dents or damage seen. There are a few pin-prick size dents on the collar of the lid. Only noticeable upon close inspection. Antique ART NOUVEAU Double Ended Cranberry Ruby Red Glass Perfume Scent Bottle Length: 4" 1/8" Width: 1" at its widest point Mark: No mark Cap: Works securely on both sides- no stopper This piece is unique for its double ended design that is done in a vibrant ruby red color. The glass has some surface wear and scratching. Some tiny chips along the edges but its a modest amount. There are some dents and dimples to the caps. Overall this is a finely made and colorful, sterling silver double ended perfume bottle, that is from the Victorian era and is in good condition. Magnificent pair of Spode/Copeland perfume bottles. The gold work is outstanding. The sterling tops are dated London 1888, however, these could have been attached at a later date than the bottles. They stand a little better than 3.1/2" The silver tops look dented. It is just that the silver needs cleaning. This is a very nice pair of antique.Perfume/scent bottles,believed to be made from Dutch Rock Glass. The tops to both bottles appear to be made of silver but there are no markings to indicate this. There is a slight dent in the top of 1 cap. The caps are very ornate and are engraved with"WC" in script. The glass has several bevels. They are 7 inches tall and 5.25 inches in circumference. For your consideration is an antique Baccarat crystal perfume bottle. It's circa late 1800's and is a beautiful cranberry colored swirled shape. This is not from the amberina collection and I believe it pre dates the amberina collection. It measure just a touch over 7" in height. It's etched on the bottom" Pharmacie L. Muller Paris" This has been sitting on a shelf in my home for quite a while and I didn't realize it has more dust built up in the swirls than I thought and it really showed up in the photo's. That can easily be cleaned off with a damp towel. This may be from the bambous tors collection. This piece is not perfect and as you can see from the photo's it has some chips and flea bites around the bottom edge and on the inside rim. Some of the chips around the bottom edge can be seen when the ... morebottle is sitting on a table.The inside rim of the lid has some very minut flea bites but they are so tiny and hard to see I'm only mentioning it for full disclosure. Other than what has been mentioned. There are no other cracks or chips. I don't know much more about this piece other than it's circa late 1800's(before Baccarat actually started etching or using paper labels with"Baccarat" on their crystal pieces) and can also be seen on the International Perfume Bottle Collectors website. This is a stunning antique high quality cologne bottle box set. it comes with a stunning very nice leather case that has a shapable front and hand sewn together. It is marked E.S.H. on the top. the box is lined with red leather and has 4 compartments. there are three beautiful glass bottles which sit perfectly in the box. it is missing one bottle. they have bronze threaded necks and bronze lids with thick hand laid enamel around the side and top of the caps. they are done with nice vibrant color and have cork linings. the bottles come with glass stoppers. This little bottle is a mystery. The top of this has a very precise pouring lip. When I bought it I thought maybe it was a flaw in the glass neck. But the more I look at it the more I think it was made this way. There’s no indication that this was ever covered by a metal collar. But it will be for someone else to solve. No chips or cracks that I could find. This has a plunger type applicator. The third bottle measures about 3 inches at widest point and stands about 3-1/2 inches high. Not sure if there was anything else on top-I have no idea. There is a paper label on bottom that says Made in USA, there is also a very small paper clover leaf label on side that says Made in Austria, a little conflict where this item was made. Have nothing in your houses that you do not consider to be beautiful or useful. William Morris French Antique Glass Perfume Dispenser with Spigot. Antique glassware A lovely and rare barrel-shaped antique glass eau de cologne dispenser complete with its original spigot and cork lined cap. These bottles were used to dispense small amounts of gentlemen’s cologne either in an exclusive barbershop or in a private home after being shaved by one’s personal valet. They were brought back to a perfumer’s shop for refilling and this one is a fine example from the 1880’s or so. The spigot works well. Closes tightly and does not leak. The cap fits tightly and has the original cork insert. The bottle is decorated with two sets of lines and a raised diamond pattern in the center. On the base is etched the word‘France’ The bottle was originally molded glass ... moreand there are few tiny lines in the glass from when it was made. The glass bottle is 5 inches high and 6 ¼ inches wide and is in excellent condition– no chips. No dings, no cracks and it is watertight. It would be a lovely addition to a vintage bathroom or dressing room and could even be used in the kitchen to hold very good olive oil or balsamic vinegar. Offered from my personal collection is this beautiful little sterling silver overlaid perfume. Bottle with matching stopper made in New Jersey by Scharling& Co. before 1934. The pattern is thin scrolls with dogwood flowers and there is a flowery script 2 letter monogram on the irregular shield shaped plate"LM" Excellent condition with no damage noted but the stopper is stuck in. And has not been removed for the 25 years I have had it on display. It may come out with warm water soaks. I just never tried. It is signed near the base with 581 and Sterling within an"S" on it's side. The Scharling logo. 4" tall and 2 1/2" across at widest point. Free Priority shipping in the USA. Antique / Vintage GREEN OPAQUE GLASS Perfume Bottle Atomizer ? MOUNT WASHINGTON
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a lovely light green. Opaque glass(milk glass? Perfume Bottle with Atomizer and Bulb. The style reminds me of some Mount Washington bottles& biscuit jars I have seen but there is no makers mark. It was likely made c. early 1900's. The glass bottle is slightly shaded with a lighter color at the top which gets darker as you move toward the bottom. The floral designs are Pink& Sage with yellow and gold accents. All the floral and leaf enamels are in excellent condition with only very minimal loss, if any. It has a sunken pontil on the bottom. No chips, cracks or repairs noted, other than the new bulb I put on. The gold tone atomizer screws on and off easily. The internal brass syphon tube is intact. The bulb is new and when squeezed puffs ... moreof air do come out. The collar has a few light scratches and dings. It is about 6 inches tall to the center top of the atomizer and it is about 3 1/2 inches across at the widest part. A very lovely perfume bottle in a in excellent condition!
