The lid is huge and beutifully decorated. The hinge works perfectly and the sterling lid is secure to the bottle. The inside of the lid still retains it's nice gold wash. There is a dent to the lid as you will see in the photos. The bottle is free of chips. Cracks& repairs. However, whatever liquid used to be stored in this bottle has left a residue to the top 1/4 of the bottle. It has also left the rest of the bottle with an slightly iridescent cast to it. Very strange but you will see what I mean in the photos. This is one of those bottles you almost pass up but then just due to it's size and lovely details in the lid and cut glass you decide it's worth the trouble. I have not attempted to remove the"residue" so perhaps some of it will come off ~ I do not know. I have broken too many a bottle while trying to scrub them up. So now just a light dusting and if they are presentable- I leave the major cleaning to you. The bottle is heavy and I imagine just the silver lid alone would be worth a bit of money. The lid is 2 1/4 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches across at the widest. Shoot. Just the lid is as big as some sterling silver bottles alone! The total height of the bottle(lid& glass) is 6 1/4 inches tall and the width across the widest part is 3 1/2 inches. Just so you know what a conversation piece it is.when my daughter asked what used to be in the bottle I told her it was probably"the potion of some Mad Victorian Era Scientist.maybe Frankenstien himself" I couldn't resist having a little fun at her expense. Each Marked STERLING 54 Unknown Maker You are buying two beautiful. Old Heavy Crystal/Glass Bottles(Perfume Bottles) with Stoppers. All time best shape and form. Each has unique tooled. Sterling overlay. The Design on each includes a flower Iris or Daffodil? and a Solid Silver plate with ornamental“vines” Beautiful! Both need to be polished and interiors cleaned as they have Cloudiness. Moisture residue, build up inside. I did not want to risk doing any damage to these pieces so I left them As-Is. These were my Mom’s from her Sterling Collection. She has had them wrapped and stored for many years. There ... moreare no chips or cracks on the Bottles. The Silver Overlay on one is complete and Beautiful. The other one has a part of a flower missing(Picture with the frosty looking outline shows the missing silver) It was hard to get great pictures without glare and reflections and shadows. These are not marks on the Silver or bottle. But like I mentioned. Silver needs to be polished, so there are tarnished marks, Patina? The Top rims are also slightly different. One has a little wider cover lip. The Stoppers are complete. One has a“fracture” Bottom of stem, but it seems to be internal. Both have chipping/fleabites along stem bottoms. The One Stopper with the“fracture” was hand-blown and is hollow. The other Stopper is Solid. Each are similar size but have a little different shape. These two really complement each other. But they are not identical. Would be a lovely Cruet Set for Oil and Vinegar. They are both so lovely just Sitting on Display. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. Each bottle is triangular shaped and fits perfectly into its own section in the black leather case. The glass bottles are cranberry, green, clear and yellow. Each has a facetted stopper, but I think that one of stoppers may be a replacement. The leather strap on the back of the case is, unfortunately, broken but could easily be repaired with some leather glue. A pair of antique French opaque gray art glass perfume/scent bottles. From the base to the top of the stopper they measure 8-7/8" tall. Enameled white dot trim on stopper as well as gold accent. Hand painted design on each bottle is absolutely beautiful. Raised enamel on the petals and leaves. Beautiful detail on the butterflies. These bottles are in good condition with no cracks in the glass. There is a very tiny chip on one of the stopper at the very top where the white accent dots are placed. Antique/Old Glass Perfume Bottles In Wood Case~Salesman Samples!!
This is an incredible and very old Salesman's sample case of perfume bottles~I'm guessing 1920's-1930's but could be older. The case is wood. Distressed from use, the hinges are now rusted and the handle at the top is what appears to be suede. The hinges are all intact and the top of the box still latches securely to the bottom. The inside of the box is a thin, purple fabric that's adhered to all areas. The inside smells very musty, probably from age and storage and the outside of the box is dirty/dusty. Just lends to the authenticity in my opinion. The four glass bottles inside have ground stoppers. The stopper on the bottle w/o a label will not come out and may have been glued. The other stoppers come out easily. The square bottles are just shy of 6.5" tall and 2-1/4" wide on the four sides, the round bottles ... moreare just shy 6-3/4" tall and are almost 2-3/4" wide at the front, so these are large bottles in the perfume world. One round bottle has a label that reads"Lazell's Coronaria" and New York. Very hard to see are the words"Crabapple Blossom" and"Concentrated Essence" The two square bottles say"Leffleur&Co" St. Louis, MO and"The guage Of Quality" All four bottles are in great shape for their age but there's some flea bites and chips around the neck of the bottle w/o a label. The stoppers show minute signs of use but in very good condition with some minor chipping. This case would make an excellent display for the perfume collector, lover of antiques and ephemera, for a boutique/shoppe owner or given as a gift. Definitely a part of history! The case measures 12.5" tall with the lid up, 10" tall with it closed, 12" tall to top of handle, 13-1/4" wide and a depth of 3.5" at the sides.Weighs 4 lbs.+12 oz. before packing materials and box. This is a wonderful pair of old Victorian glass cologne or perfume bottles. They date from around 1890 or so. The robbins egg blue bottle has embossed designs on the outside and a blown glass dipper and measures about 3" long. The amber color bottle has a pewter top with no stopper and a design on the front and back and measures about 3" long. A wonderful pair of highly collectible blown perfumes. Here we have a very beautiful pair of Antique Victorian Art Glass Perfume bottles. The blue opaque glass is all hand blown and decorated. The bottles are in mint condition with only some gold wear. The white enamel is just the best showing the flowers against the glass in high art glass style. The bottles stand 10 1/4" tall by 3" in dia at the middle wide point. There are not chips cracks nor breaks that we can find. The one top finial is not as rounded as the other. The gold trim is worn on the bottles from over 120 years of normal use. Each bottle is marked on the bottom with its own number. One is 50 the other is 52. We would call these Bristol glass due to their enameled decoration. Must see in person to fully appreciate. Pair of Elegant Antique Filagree Blown Glass Dresser Perfume Cologne Toilette Bottles tray not included in listing click picture to enlarge I pleased to be offering this antique pair of hand made mold blown glass cologne bottles encased with a silver colored filigree overlay. Silver tray not included in listing* This set comes with one round or globe shaped bottle and one cylinder shaped bottle. Both hand made. They have 3 visible vertical side seams stopping at the bottom neck of the bottle. The round bottle has a flared lip finish where the cylindrical bottle appears to have an applied lip finish. The round bottle and solid matching stopper have a swirl mold blown pattern which is felt from both the inside and outside of the bottle where the cylinder bottle has a smooth finish. Both bottles appear to have been made with removable base plates, ... morehowever, they do differ, and the casing makes it difficult to examine. Both stoppers appear to have an original fit, although I question the stopper for the cylinder shaped bottle due to the metal casing not being an exact pattern match as well as it being the only piece to show wear to the casing. The stopper does fit into the bottle nicely as an original stopper would. Characteristics of glass are indicative of glass made in the ca. 1900 time period or earlier. Both created with an elegant silver colored leaf/vine robust casing. This could be silver plate or pewter(not magnetic) True composition remains unknown. These have been black light tested and glow a very deep fluorescent yellow color. Another sign of ca. 1800-1900 dated glass, with the exception of American Brilliant Period which glows Apple Green- sometimes. Keeping in mind all black lights will result in different colors depending on the black light properties. I have tested many different types of glass, Early American Pressed, American Brilliant Cut, Depression Contemporary or Modern, Czech, and other European, and can now leverage my particular black light to distinguish, along with other glass char

Each individual bottle is a different color(amber, blue, green and pink) and has a stopper with a glass dauber; three of the four daubers are broken. The fourth goes all the way to the bottom of the bottle but the stopper is stuck and I haven't soaked it to try to dislodge it. Just gorgeous estate found matching pair of c1930s to 1940s crystal glas perfume bottles. These bottles are lovely and each measures about 6" tall with deeply cut floral design work. They are both quite visually nice but one is better than the other. This pair of perfume bottles has a patterned bubble design cased within the glass. The bottle are in good condition. Are marked"Czechoslovakia" and have stoppers. The bottles, with stoppers, measure 4 1/4" tall by 4" wide. The stoppers measure 2 5/8" wide. The bottles are uses, and need a good cleaning, but are in good shape. Set of 2 Antique APOLLO Perfume Bottles, Encased Glass w/ Ornate Gilt Filigree
Gorgeous antique matching set of two APOLLO perfume glass bottles encased in ornate gilt ormolu trim. One is a flacon. The other is an atomizer. Bottles are crafted from glass and encased in gold gilt metal. Design is French-inspired, with flowers, garlands and bows. The glass is thick and very heavy, with an almost purple color to the atomizer, though not as obviously purple as what it looks like in the photos. There is a pontil mark on the bottom of flacon. The base of flacon is stamped"APOLLO. MADE IN USA" and the number 2887. Though the exact same pattern of metalwork, I cannot see a mark on the atomizer. Flacon is about 5" tall, base is 2-1/2" diameter. Atomizer is about 6-1/2" tall, also with a 2-1/2" diameter base. The pair date between 1909-22. They are both in overall good. Antique condition, although ... moreI haven't tried to clean them as I do not want to ruin the finish. I see no chips, cracks or damage to glass. Gilt has some areas with wear, especially near top where you'd hold the bottles, and a tiny bit of verdigris developing in base crevices. There are also some surface scratches, commensurate with loving use and age. The perfume bottle is missing dauber, and there is no tube/squeeze bulb for atomizer. Cute pair of antique amber color glass perfume bottles with silver overlay designs. The perfume bottles are identical in size and shape but the silver overlay designs are slightly different. Also we noticed that the opening of one of the bottles is slightly larger than the other. Each bottle has its original matching with the bottle glass stopper and each one fits well into the bottle. Condition on both bottles is very good. Only on one of the two. There is some silver loss around the top part of the bottle shown in one of the pictures. Everything else is in great condition. Up for auction are 3 antique cut glass perfume bottles. All 3 have applied lips at the top. None have the stopper with them. The wider measures 3.5" at the base by 2 7/8" tall. Two vintage antique perfume bottles. The smaller one has a black glass flower lid and it is a Caron Le Narcisse Noir bottle but I don't know what date. It is signed on both the botttom of the black lid and the bottom of the bottle and it reads what looks like 62 f.111. I don't have a clue what that is or means. 2 Antique 19thc RARE Daum Cut Glass Gilt Cologne Scent Perfume Vanity Bottles
The photos do not do these bottle justice! RARE 19thc. Daum cut glass cologne scent bottles. They looked like rock crystal. But I believe they are glass. Beautifully cut with patterns at the neck, top mid section with roses and ribbons, and at the base. Gold gilt is painted into the engraving. Both bottoms are in gilt(style of mark dates to 19thc, Daum- the Cross of Lorraine- Nancy. One is slightly taller and thick glass than the other. They measure roughly 10 1/2” including the stopper. Faceted on the neck and body. Photographing these was difficult. They were filled with sugar in order to photograph them without the pattern on the reverse showing through. Condition- Intact. No repairs. Wear to the gilt in the carvings. 1 bottle has a chip on the lip. Both stoppers have cracks in the bases of the stopper. No chips or cracks to the bases. ... moreOverall glass clarity is vg- excellent. there are a few spot in body and at the bottom that I couldn’t clean. My bottle brushes are long enough or thin enough to get in there; in other words. I do not know if the glass is stick in spots. I had a memory than these had an internal crack in the body of 1 of them. I can not find it! You will be purchasing this with the knowledge that there might be a 1/2” internal crack. I really don't know the age. These are all clear glass with removable glass stopper tops. The tallest one stands 7 1/2" tall. One stopper does have a few chips on the bottom and the tallest one does have a flea bit on the edge of the stopper. And one has a tiny bit of roughness around the opening edge. I am making these sound worse than they are, but I am trying to point out all of the flaws. Also please note the different in color in the bottle. They are 2-3/4" and 2-1/2" tall and each about 3/4" in diameter. One cut glass bottle has a sterling silver screw cap that is marked for Birmingham. Sterling and date coded for 1903.
