Antique Large Rounded English Cut Glass Sterling Silver Perfume Cologne Bottle This listing is for a gorgeous antique perfume/cologne bottle that is in excellent condition. It is a large rounded cut crystal bottle with a sterling silver hinged top and a glass stopper. The cut is beautiful and there is a 12 point star on the bottom. Please be sure to enlarge each picture for a better view as I don't think that I will be able to do this piece justice with my description. I tried to research the hallmark and will share what I found with you. If I'm wrong. You are more than welcome to return the bottle for a full refund as long as it is in the exact same condition as when I send it to you. The metal top is a raised floral pattern and has no dents. I did my best to clean it but am sure that the buyer will be able to do a much better job. ... moreAs for the hallmark, I am positive that there is a lion facing the left, a shield and another symbol on the end but I can't make it out. The shield looks like it has 3 identical shapes inside it and the rectangle next to the shield also has a shape inside. There is another mark before the lion and I think that is the maker's mark.possibly J.T. or J.J. My eyes aren't what they used to be and I even used a magnifier. I'm pretty sure that the ground glass stopper is the original one and it is in excellent condition and fits beautifully. The hinged top and collar have no dents. Cracks or repairs and the hinge works perfectly. It clicks when you close it. This lovely bottle measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and 11" in circumference. When held to the light, I noticed a couple of small spots on the bottom and one on a clear panel but think that they are manufacturer flaws.they do not have a rough feel at all but I did want to mention it. The top is either silver or silverplate, there is no hallmark so I'm not sure. Not sure what type of stopper this had. I don't see any chips, but it is hard to tell because of the pattern. Art Deco glass and guilloche enamel jewelled and gilded perfume/ cologne bottle. Made in Europe. Very likely Austrian Wiener Werkstatte or Paris, France. Dates to 1920-30's. Measures 5 1/2 inches high. Almost 4 inches in diameter at bottom. Outstanding quality: glass bottle reminiscent of figural stylised woman in a wide skirt. Glass is emerald green cut to yellow. Original full dauber at the end of the stopper. Stopper with rich gilding and wonderful faux emerald on top. The neck of the bottle has a band of fantastic guilloche enamel in a complex design in sparkling emerald green. Golden orange and gold. Various textured surfaces, parallel lines, squares within squares with irregularly sized borders. A golden masquerade mask with engraved detail. Has a large base with interesting cut overall. The glass has an olive-green tint. The vaporizator is of the hand-pump type. The pump along with the hose is missing. There are spots on the metal parts. There are no cracks. Nor large dents on the glass. There are a few small areas of ruggedness and two scattered small dents along the edges of the glass cuts. Exceptionally well done hand-painted polo players and ponies; the details from the martingale and leg wraps on the ponies. To the players’ old style pith helmets, to the baggy top white jods are all great. The bottle looks to be hand blown. Has a small bubble in the shoulder, and is decorated with red paint and gilding over that. The stopper is ground, as is the inside neck of the bottle. No chips or breaks. A unique piece of Polo ephemera from almost 100 years ago.

Antique Green Opaline Glass Scent or Cologne Bottle FAB- Opal Opalino Bristol. This gorgeous. Mouth blown, antique scent bottle dates to the second half of the 19th Century, and is made of opaline glass, in a scarce green color. The stopper is original. It could have been made in France, or Bohemia. The glass is too thick and substantial to be English Bristol glass. It stands 8.75" tall(6.75" to the rim) and features simple and elegant enameling and gold gilding. It is in excellent condition for its age, with some wear and fading to the decoration, and a slice of glass off the inserting end of the stopper as seen in the last two pictures. There is a pontil scar on the bottom, and the number'5' painted on, which would have matched the same on the bottom of the stopper if it had not been sliced off. The stopper still seals, ... moreand sits firmly, and the damage is not seen when inserted. This is original 19th Century opaline glass, not a 20th century piece. There is no funky marriage between bottle and stopper. Even if it had no stopper it would be a cologne bottle- not a vase. I find no chips, cracks or other detractors. The bottom two are powder horn figurals. I have seen both with strings to hold the horn. They date to the 1880-1910 period. This beautiful cologne bottle is 7" tall with the stopper. The stopper and the base have lllVX cut in them. The base of the bottle also has the number 18 in gold. The base has a large. Polished pontil. There are no chips, cracks or scratches. Some of the squiggly gold design on the white layer is worn where the bottle was handled. Otherwise, the gold is all very much intact.
