A 1920's perfume atomizer in brass with mother of pearl around the barrel and on the top. The operating plunger locks in the closed position for travel and opens with a quarter turn. Great old perfume bottle is clear with design on front. And silver/chrome top. Shoulder of bottle is about 1 1/4" and threaded silver of bottle top is about 1 7/8" It is a bit dirty as found, but no chips, cracks, or repairs. Red white& blue sticker on bottom says; M Paris; the round white sticker says nothing(worn off? between the two stickers, is the Baccarat logo etched in; outside of circle says: Marcel Franck, Made in France; inside the circle says: Baccarat France, and has a cruet with goblet t the left, and cup to the right. Bottle is 2 3/4" wide, and 1" deep. The chrome top is very interesting, and I have never seen one. Big disk pushes in to spray. Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction an interesting little Marcel Franck perfume bottle and atomizer. The design is very unique but quite simple ~ so simple that it makes it even sweeter. It is stamped Marcel Franck on the bottom. It also appears to have a number stamped under the ivory glaze- 4339" I don't know the significance of it but this is the daintiest Marcel Franck bottle I have ever seen. The small details to the paintings are what makes it so special ~ and even better that it is signed by the artist. The gold tone hardware is in good condition with just a little wear to the gold. The internal glass syphon tube is intact. It is clean inside and out but still with a faint smell of perfume. I added the new bulb and an antique dome cap. Not knowing exactly what the original ... morebulb might have looked like I came up with my own"interpretation" It was difficult to find a bulb that didn't over-power the bottle and that was important because in this case it is all about the bottle. No chips. Cracks or repairs noted. 2 1/4 inches tall and it is 2 inches in diameter at the widest part. Whether you love Marcel Franck, collect perfume bottles or enjoy the more miniature in size ~ you can have everything with this one unique bottle.
