BOXED ANTIQUE FRENCH SILVER CUT GLASS ORNATE SCENT PERFUME BOTTLE, HALLMARKED
Description: A fine antique 19th century French silver and cut glass scent bottle. The glass body features an exquisite all over zipper cut patterning. An ornate repousse of rocailles. Scrolling foliate and petite flowers encompass the silver lid and collar. A blank cartouche tops the hinged lid, opening to reveal a gilt vermeil interior and a cut glass stopper. Hallmarked with the wild boar's head, a French standard for.800/1000 silver. The mark was typically used on small objects of at least 80% pure silver content, close to.925 sterling. Also bearing an silversmith's mark, visible in the photos. Likely that of silversmith Charles Murat, active in 1897, whose workshop was located at 62 rue des Archives in Paris. The bottle is housed in the original presentation box with push button clasp opening to a fitted interior lined in green ... moresatin and velvet. In very good condition, the presentation box shows wear commensurate with age. Dimensions: Scent bottle measures 2 3/4" length. Vintage Antique? Silver Tone Small Ornate Flower Perfume Bottle - Glass Stopper
I don't really know anything about this piece. It appears to be a small metal perfume bottle with a glass stopper. There is a raised design on it that has flowers and leaves at the top and just some pretty designs towards the bottom half. I cannot get the top off and would be scared of breaking it to try too hard. So I cannot tell you what's inside, but it doesn't slosh or anything. I do not know if it is sterling silver or just a silver tone metal. It could be marked on the rim, but since I cannot get the top off, It does show some patina. And I wonder if at some time it had some kind of decorative cap over the glass stopper. It is fairly heavy and measures about 2 1/4 inches high. Seems to be in pretty good shape. Thanks for looking. I cannot find any markings on this piece- However. We were told from the estate where we found many treasures of amazing antiques that many of these perfume bottles are said to have belong ed to the women's grandmother and from the late 1800's. Several antique perfume bottles were found at an estate of a couple who traveled the world. Her and her husband were instrumental in starting the Cruise industry in and out of ports in Florida and they have several homes around the world. Vintage 1960s ornate lady's glass jewelry box and perfume bottle with applicator
An exquisite jewelry box with padded interior and a beautifully ornate perfume bottle. Both with amber glass and golden metal worked into filigree, will add luster to any lady's bureau top. Both items are in good condition and perhaps need mild polishing. There are no visible signs of damage. The perfume bottle is missing the little glass bulb that holds the perfume, but it can be easily and, probably, cheaply replaced; otherwise it would be mostly for decoration on a lady's vanity tray.

It is in good antique condition with extremely minor dings to the top and a tiny flaw on the bottom of the stopper. I cannot really feel a chip to the glass so it appears to be inside. This is a stunning antique 19th century Victorian gold gilded bronze and glass perfume bottle. it is done with an abundance of intricate detailing and very well made. the bottle is made from thick red glass and has a very thick handmade bronze detailing at the top. it is very detailed with hand engraved floral design and also has nicely embossed detail. it has a gorgeous hinged lid which is equally as ornate. when opened it exposes the clear glass stopper which fits nice and tight. it is in lovely antique condition and has acquired a nice patina from age. measures 2 3/4 inches tall by 1 5/8 inches wide. GLASS PERFUME BOTTLE WITH ORNATE DAUBBER AND SCREW-OFF TOP
I am selling a Beautiful Glass and Metal Perfume Bottle. The metal appears to be pewter. But unsure if it is. Unique purple swirled glass body has ornate metal decoration around the top opening. The crown-shaped handle top comes off to reveal a dauber wand for applying the perfume. The metal collar at the top of the bottle unscrews to allow refilling the bottle with your favorite scent. The bottle measures 5 3/8" tall over the dauber handle and the bottle body is 2 1/4" in diameter. The top crown shape is 2 1/8" wide and 1 1/2" tall. Obtained at an estate sale, but unsure of age. This was bought in Czechoslovakia in the early 90's at an Antique shop. I don't know the age for it. It is a beautiful Ornate Perfume bottle. Like new even thought it is old. Victorian Perfume Bottle Silver And Glass With Ornate Cap Hallmarks
This is a very beautiful Victorian/Edwardian glass and silver perfume bottle with ornate silver work. This bottle is in good condition. The lid snaps into place and the hinge works well. There are No chips or cracks in the glass bottle. The silver work on the bottom is not symmetrical. There are two hallmarks in the silver decorative area on the neck of the piece. But they are tiny and I can't find them in my research. You can see them under a microscope but I can't capture them with my camera. I believe this is an old. Rare bottle but I'm no expert.
