So this larger end. you simple unscrew it to see the inner cork of the lid and a nice gilt thread collar around the bottle. a nice mouth too. no damage. The other end is a FLAT top. you can see the square hinge at the back.so simply lift the lid. hinge it up to see the gilt interior grill which has been fine chip carved engraved. looks like a little pepper pot. now then be carefull here. quite often this little grill hinges off or pulls up.this one you MUST unscrew the whole top lid. see the photographs. inside it has the small sponge. Each bottle is triangular shaped and fits perfectly into its own section in the black leather case. The glass bottles are cranberry, green, clear and yellow. Each has a facetted stopper, but I think that one of stoppers may be a replacement. The leather strap on the back of the case is, unfortunately, broken but could easily be repaired with some leather glue. This is a wonderful pair of old Victorian glass cologne or perfume bottles. They date from around 1890 or so. The robbins egg blue bottle has embossed designs on the outside and a blown glass dipper and measures about 3" long. The amber color bottle has a pewter top with no stopper and a design on the front and back and measures about 3" long. A wonderful pair of highly collectible blown perfumes. Antique Victorian Edwardian Perfume Ornate floral leaf Filigree Scent bottles tray not included in listing click picture to enlarge I pleased to be offering this antique pair of hand made mold blown glass scent/perfume/cologne bottles encased with a silver colored filigree overlay. This set comes with one round or globe shaped bottle and one cylinder shaped bottle. Both hand made. They have 3 visible vertical side seams stopping at the bottom neck of the bottle. The round bottle has a flared lip finish where the cylindrical bottle appears to have an applied lip finish. The round bottle and solid matching stopper have a swirl mold blown pattern which is felt from both the inside and outside of the bottle where the cylinder bottle has a smooth finish. Both bottles appear to have been made with removable base plates, however, they do differ, ... moreand the casing makes it difficult to examine. Both stoppers appear to have an original fit, although I question the stopper for the cylinder shaped bottle due to the metal casing not being an exact pattern match as well as it being the only piece to show wear to the casing. The stopper does fit into the bottle nicely as an original stopper would. Characteristics of glass are indicative of glass made in the ca. 1900 time period or earlier. Both created with an elegant silver colored leaf/vine robust casing. This could be silver plate or pewter(not magnetic) True composition remains unknown. These have been black light tested and glow a very deep fluorescent yellow color. Another sign of ca. 1800-1900 dated glass, with the exception of American Brilliant Period which typically glows Apple Green. Keeping in mind all black lights will result in different colors depending on the black light properties. I have tested many different types of glass. Early American Pressed, American Brilliant Cut, Depression Contemporary or Modern, Czech, and other European, and can now leverage my particular black light to distinguish, along with other glass characteristics, time periods and origins

Antique Victorian Cut Crystal Glass Tray for Perfume Bottles and Vanity
This auction is for an antique Victorian cut crystal glass tray for sterling silver bottles. The tray measures 9 3/4” wide X 2 7/8” deep X 7/8” tall and weighs 227.9 gm. There is a small chip at one of the corners and a small raise in the glass. See photo 5. It is in excellent condition. I guarantee authenticity. 19th Century Victorian Milk Glass Perfume Bottles With Stoppers
A very rare find. These mid to late 1800's milk glass perfume bottles are sure to be a great addition to any collection. Have not come across anything like these. Most bottles of this era and type feature an embossed woman's face inside the beaded oval area. These appear to have had a hand painted image. These bottles stand 7 3/4" tall without stoppers and are 4" wide at widest point. Only flaw is that the stopper for on bottle has been broken and appears to have been cleaned. I have not washed or wiped these at all as I do not want any of the paint to come off or the true aged beauty of them desecrated.

Here is a nice little group of old perfume containers and a tiny purse powder box. There are: A 3" perfume bottle from Mellier's of St. Louis with a holly label- 1890-1900 3 Glass perfume vials of"Fairy Queen perfume- Carnation. Lilac and Jockey Club( 1920's 1 Purse powder box of"Simplex Nail right" from Dr Korony of Louisville. KY- 1920's- Not sure what for. Nice addition to your collection. No chips or cracks in glass except on bottle stopper. Recently out of a tiny town in Nebraska from old house estate.

Antique Victorian glass dresser set, 1940. TWO perfume bottles, lidded powder.
From the early 1940's. This dresser set is gorgeous and very hard to find complete! Resembling Candlewick, this set contains 2 very large perfume bottles and a lidded caddy. The glass is very old and heavy, perfume bottles are 7.25" tall and the dish is 4" in diameter. One of the bottles has an interior ring where it once held fragrance and although I found no cracks and these appear to be in very nice condition for their age. 3 PC Victorian Opaline Hand Painted Set: 2 Perfume Bottles & Trinket Box
Gorgeous Victorian Opaline Glass-2 Perfume Bottles and A Trinket Box Here you have a pair of Victorian Opaline Glass vanity/dresser or barber bottles. Hand painted and embossed with roses. They are absolutely gorgeous and very very old! See condition description above and examine pictures carefully. One is more rounded and squat. While the other is taller with a raised twirled design under the blue and gold painting. They are not marked or signed. The smooth bottle measures approx 7 1/4 inches high without stopper. 10 inches high with stopper, and 6 1/4 inches across. The raised design, taller bottle is 7 3/4 inches tall without the stopper, 11 inches tall with the stopper and its about 6 1/4 inches across. The trinket box is embossed with gold on its raised design on its rounded corners. It's 2 1/4 inches tall and 5 inches square.

Antique Victorian Double Ended Amber Glass Perfume Bottles
This bottle is 5" long. One bottle side has a greater capacity then the other. This can be seen through a facet cut glass body. It has brass ends one end closes with a click and the other does not click close. It is old and was well used. The stoppers are missing, one end is open and other the stopper is broken in the hole. There are three slight chips in the facets. I have photographed it so the largest one is noticeable otherwise they are not obvious. There are some small dents in the brass tops. In good condition this type of bottle sells for $300.00 plus. This is a nice old bottle but I am disclosing all flaws.

Set of two very unusual hand painted Bristol Glass Victorian bottles with stoppers. Excellent vintage condition. Some wear on gold, 11 6/8 inches tall with stoppers. Numbered 5 and 6 on bottom. No signature visible. Been in my family for more than 70 years and kept in a curio cabinet. Stoppers also numbered and are 4 1/16 inches tall outside of the bottles. Stoppers are beautifully hollowed in the center, 3.5" wide at widest part of bottles. Delicate bead pattern. Enamel paint for flowers, gold trim and banding. Some wear on banding, No chips cracks or repairs. I will double box this and pack well.

Lot of 3 Ornate Vintage Perfume Bottles and 1 Powder Box.One has Amber glass with leaves all around it.It measures 9.5" tall.5" wide,and 3" thick.Pic. 4) The next(Pic 5) is 8" tall,4" wide, and 1.5" thick. It has a floral motif with cherubs holding it up.The last bottle( pic.6) measures 9.5" tall, 4.5" wide. and 1" thick. It has a floral and leaf motif with what looks like Mother of pearl inlay behind the metal. I am not sure what material is.It may be Bakelite. The stopper for it is missing the glass dauber and a small area on the metal is tarnished. Pic. 9& 10) You may be able to clean it. I didn't try.
