The silver is tarnished and there are scratches/abrasions to the surface of the silver and glass from handling and general use. Here you are bidding on a lovely old double ended scent bottle in green glass. The cylinder measures approx. 4- 3/4" long including the lids and has a faceted ovoid shape. The color is Emerald Green. One end simply screws off. The other has a hinged lid and a small glass stopper. These are almost always missing! I am confident this is the original stopper as it is hand ground at fits perfectly. I could find no marks on the caps, but do believe they are Sterling. This wonderful piece comes to you in Excellent vintage condition with only very light wear. It was donated to our local Habitat for Humanity. There are 10 shaped facets in the glass and it is a beautiful emerald green. It is in excellent condition with no fractures that I can see. This is a stunning Antique Ruby Red Glass/Sterling Silver Double-Sided PERFUME BOTTLE in beautiful condition. Measures 5"L. This bottle is exceptional: It is split down the middle with a glass division. Allowing for two compartments. One compartment is topped by a spring-loaded cap: push the button and the repousse sterling cap"pops" open. Both the mechanism& seal are tight. The second compartment is a screw top. Threads are firm and complete. Allowing for a tight seal. Interior of"pop top" is marked"Gilbert& Sons London" very hard to read and impossible to get on camera. A terrific. Unusual antique, probably French, double-ended cranberry glass perfume bottle. With engine-turned decoration to its silver gilt hinged-lid ends. Dating from around 1860/80, bearing European silver control marks and in very good condition with slight edge nibbling to the glass and one or two very shallow dents to the silver, it weighs 51.0 grams and measures 4 ½ inches long. This is another perfume bottle from my 96 year old Mom's estate. This is an exquisite antique double ended glass perfume bottle with repouse decorative Sterling( Silver lids. One lid screws on and the other is hinged. I believe the end that screws on was originally used for smelling salts. Where the other was used for perfume. The hinged lid has what looks like a 4 leaf clover and the other lid has a intricate design of what looks like a flower in the middle and leaves surrounding it. Both lids have a firm and secure fit and there are no dents. The silver tops do not have a hallmark. So I am not sure if the tops are sterling or not. Many of these early Victorian pieces were unmarked sterling. The bottle is in very good condition; the glass part has diamond shaped facets with no cracks or breaks. The only thing missing is the tiny glass ... morestopper which is not usual since they usually didn't fit securely in these perfumes. This perfume bottle measures 4" long and approx. 15/16" in diameter. This is a quality double ended Victorian perfume bottle in great condition. THIS WILL BE A NICE ADDITION TO SOMEONE'S COLLECTION. We are offering a beautiful Victorian period Bristol blue double ended perfume bottle from c. 1875. It has an eight sided hand ground panel or facet cut sides and shoulders. There are a couple of very tiny chips(in no way visually distracting) in the ribs of the facets and one hinged lid is detached and its stopper is missing. The other hinge is intact and the stopper is present. The glass is a deep rich blue with the central section almost violet when held to the light. the bottle is a total of 5 1/8" long and about 1 1/8" in diameter. Great. Old, double perfume bottle, with amber colored, bakelite screw on tops. Approximately 3-1/8" x 1-1/2" x 4" tall. Angular, geometric, clear glass base, with equally interestingly shaped tops. There is no label or makers mark, but there IS a tiny, in mold patent number, Pat. 2082695" which dates it c.1937. There is perfume in one side, and dark perfume residue in the other. Victorian Cut Glass Double Ended Perfume Bottle in Cobalt Blue
Here is a beautiful Cut Glass. Double Ended perfume or scent bottle in Cobalt Blue. It measures 5" long and has hinged brass caps. Decagon in shape which most of the double ended bottles are Octagon(10 panels rather than eight or octagon. There is a dent in one of the end caps but both hinges work good. The bottle originally comes with glass stoppers that the caps conceal and they are missing. Also it has a small chip on one panel. Absolutely beautiful! Please see the pictures before you bid.

Antique English Double Ended Ruby Red Perfume Bottle - Victorian Sterling Silver
A really pretty and charming perfume or scent bottle in a fabulous rich ruby red colour. This is a slightly more unusual example of a Victorian double ended bottle. This one having a cylindrical form rather than the more often seen faceted type. The lids too are a little more unusual, again made from sterling(unmarked as most of these bottles were not) silver with a pretty floral embossed decoration. One end is hinged, with the little glass stopper intact and the other end is a screw-top with the cork to the inside of the lid to keep the liquid from evaporation. Satin lined carrying box with heavy BRASS handle, clasp, handle, around the entire bevelled glass front. The box is 6" high x 4" across. The bottles sit in a gathered satin interior, mirror on back wall of box. This was a really quality vanity gift and I believe this is PRE-CIVIL WAR. probably 1850 making this set around 170 yrs old! the bottles themselves The bottles are over 3" The blue velvet as seen in the pics is very worn and there is a horizontal crack inn the beveled glass. Antique Cobalt Blue Glass Double Ended Lay Down Perfume Bottle This auction is for one blue lay-down perfume bottle one bottle only. A Cobalt blue doubled ended silver ends This fab antique bottle features cobalt blue glass with 10 cut panels/sides The metal is not marked by any maker nor the glass. The bottle has 10 cut sides and beveled shoulders. CONDITION: very good! I note: no stoppers. long gone. their is a cork in the top of the one that screws off. The glass is good but I note that there is smelling salts in one side of that bottle. Best seen in picture# 22. That is the side that the top screws off with the cork inside the lid. Clean healthy glass. No residue- other than what is mentioned on the one side. The hinge works good and while checking to see if any wobble I just noticed that one side is come apart. not really wobbley just ... morea smidge. it works fine and stay shut does not affect it. The hardware is silver and not marked. the inside of the one end looks to be a bit gold perhaps gold wash. I note: small dings on the silver end of the screw top I note: 3 dings some tiny dark spots and nicks on the hinged top. Summary: no chips there is smelling salts on one side. the one hinge has come apart on one side still works fine. dings to the silver ends. As with all of my items, this item is FINAL SALE. There are no makers marks or sterling mark. I did test it with my home kit and the result was Sterling Silver.925 or better. The screw on lid had a few tiny dents. The hinged lid has several dents but the hinge is in perfect condition and the snaps shut tightly. The side with the hinged lid also has it's original stopper. A couple nibbles to the stopper but very rare to find it still with the bottle. The lids on these are not identical but the designs are made to compliment each other and you will see what I mean in the photos. No holes to the sterling lids and the designs are very pretty. The glass bottle has no chips. Cracks or repairs. If you inspect it closely with a loupe ... moreyou will find a few microscopic nips to the glass. Antique Victorian Double Ended Amber Glass Perfume Bottles
This bottle is 5" long. One bottle side has a greater capacity then the other. This can be seen through a facet cut glass body. It has brass ends one end closes with a click and the other does not click close. It is old and was well used. The stoppers are missing, one end is open and other the stopper is broken in the hole. There are three slight chips in the facets. I have photographed it so the largest one is noticeable otherwise they are not obvious. There are some small dents in the brass tops. In good condition this type of bottle sells for $300.00 plus. This is a nice old bottle but I am disclosing all flaws.
