**~Gorgeous Antique Perfume~Scent Bottle~Gold Gilded~Purple Stone~**
This lovely antique chatelaine perfume bottle has a sterling silver gold gilded cap and collar. Marked sterling but no makers marks. Which is typical of some bottles of this age. Circa 1850-1899. This bottle has a beautiful purple stone set in the center of the top of the cap. The repousse design on the cap is that of leaves and small flowers. The gold gilding on the inside of the cap looks near to what it looked the day it was made, bright and shiny without a spec of rust or corrosion, untypical. This wonderful bottle is from my personal collection. Great care has been taken to this bottle during the last 120 years. The cap and collar are free from dents. Splits, or tears. The 12 vertical paneled glass body is cut in what I would call a“zipper style” Meaning the cuts resemble the teeth of a zipper. There is also a star cut formation on the ... morebottom base of the bottle. The wonderful glass body has no chips or cracks of any kind. The collar has a ring where at one time a chain was attached for it to hang on a chatelaine. Chatelaines were worn by women in the 1800’s as a belt in chains suspending common everyday needful items such as perfume. Vinaigrette, sewing tools, etc. The original glass stopper is intact and is free from chips or cracks. The bottle measures 2 ¾” high including the cap and stone and ¾” wide at the base. This is a gorgeous heavy crystal sparkly vintage perfume bottle- measuring 7" high. It is in lovely condition but does have some minor chipping around the base and some small nicks on the stopper. However. None of the chips are noticeable at all(I had to inspect this twice to see them) nor do they take away from the beauty of the bottle. My pictures do not do this justice! Gorgeous Steuben Glass& Alvin 999 Silver Overlay Deep Green Perfume Bottle 1900 This gorgeous glass and silver perfume bottle stands 2 1/8" tall and is 3" in diameter at its widest point. It features a deep green Steuben glass bottle with ornate art nouveau style 999 grade silver overlay by Alvin silversmiths. The silver has carnation flowers and buds with flowing leaves. Both the base rim and neck rim are sterling covered. The bottle has a round monogram area but it has never been engraved. The glass is etched"59" on the base and the silver is marked"G 8460 Patented 999/1000 Fine" and it has the Alvin hallmark. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks in the glass. No loss of overlay and no deep scratches or breaks in the overlay. Gorgeous antique perfume bottle. This one I almost kept for myself. It is absolutely gorgeous. This is an old perfume bottle where the perfume was applied with a glass wand. The angel is pulled out of the top and attached to the glass wand. The glass bottle can be removed from the base. This stands approximately 7 inches tall. 3 inches wide and weighs 1 pound 7 ounces! It is very heavy and sturdy. Gold leaf over what appears to be cast iron due to the weight. I was not able to find any markings on this piece. Simply Stunning. Sad to part with this one. Vintage Art Deco Glass Perfume Bottle 9" Tall Long Slender Gorgeous
This stunning Art Deco perfume bottle stands 9" tall including the stopper. It is dripping with sleek beauty. The glass is thick and heavy. It has that oily feeling like a good piece of Heisey glass does although we don't know who made it. The base is finished with a step down shape. The diameter is 2 1/2" There are light superficial scratches on the bottom, nothing bad, just an indicator that it has some age. Otherwise, it's in nice shiny condition, no chips, damage or repairs. This is beatifully hand cut and has a great lapidary tear drop shape stopper! This probably had a dauber but it is missing. So typical of these bottles from the 1920's-1930's and completely forgivable. This would date circa 1918-1925 and is keenly reminiscent of American Brilliant cut glass with broad panel cutting. Measures 6 1/4" high with a top diameter of 3/4" The maximum width is 3 3/8" and the base is 2 1/2" in diameter. This lovely scent bottle is a made of clear glass beautifully decorated with an elaborately pierced openwork filigree design with a bright gilt finish. Original stopper with glass dauber in excellent condition. The glass body and gilt decoration are also in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. We have a nice selection of scent bottles. Gorgeous Early Sandwich Cut Overlay Cobalt Perfume Bottle Moser Original Stopper
This gorgeours RARE perfume bottle was probably made by Boston and Sandwich glass company of New England circa 1850-1870 and has a deep cobalt blue ground against which opaque white milk glass was overlaid. This is also extremely similar to wonderful perfume bottles with overlay made by MOSER Then it was hand cut in a beautiful design to showcase the cobalt blue underneath. The stopper is fantastic! It is a unique shape and is hollow with an integral teardrop. And the cobalt is the overlaying crystal on the stopper with the cobalt cut through to show the teardrop inside. This is in utterly fantastic condition. With NO CHIPS, NO REPAIRS ALL ORIGINAL STOPPER WITH NOT EVEN A CHIP ON THAT! THIS IS 7 1/2" TALL TO THE TIP OF THE STOPPER. A very vintage cut glass perfume bottle. Could be a maker mark on bottom, with a proper magnifier, might be able to read it. This bottle has a lovely tall feather-like topper, which is in good condition as is the bottle itself. Condition issues as stated above. Bottle stands 5.25 inches tall. HAWKES Signed Perfume Bottle Enamel & Sterling Top with Long Dauber Gorgeous
This perfume bottle is signed on the bottom HAWKES who was the founder of Stueben glass. It stands about 5 1/2" tall and the long dauber is intact. The top has a blue enamel with pink roses and cherubic figures inside the center with musical instruments going around them. There is a mark on the silver and I will add the markings if I can get someone to make them out for me. The glass bottom has flowers and lines with flowers and etching. I don't see or feel any damage to either piece. The mark is on the bottom but hard to photograph. Please ask any questions prior to bidding and I will do my best to answer them. Gorgeous Multicolor French Art Nouveau Marny Perfume Bottle Ca. 1924 Mkd RLB
This is a gorgeous multicolor French Marny perfume bottle ca. 1924. The design appears Art Nouveau to me though the age is close to the Art Deco era. Pictures very well show the condition of the bottle. The bottle is marked Marny. France, and the maker whose mark is the letters R L inside a B. I could only find one reference showing the Marny name and it gave a date of 1924. The design is about as beautiful and grand as I've ever seen in a perfume bottle. The bottle just recently turned up and does not have the bulb or the upper gold plated screw down attachment. This isn't surprising as most of the fancy rubber bulbs cracked from hardening over the years and were thrown away. I don't believe it would be hard to find a newer replacement though an older one might take some looking. The bottle is 6 3/4" high and the base is ... more2 1/4" in diameter. There is a little old perfume residue in the bottom of the bottle that can be seen in a picture. I've looked the bottle over and there are no chips, nicks or cracks in the glass. The design stands out beautifully without any noticeable fading of vivid colors. I do not see any scratches or scrapes in the design. Also the tiny beaded dots are all there unblemished. This is a near antique bottle and it's in wonderful condition though a little natural aging to the glass may show as these were not bought at the store new yesterday. This piece would have been around in the Roaring 1920s, gangster& bootlegging times. There are no bubbles or broken bubbles anywhere in the glass that I noticed. Actually think the glass is awfully nice. The gold plated top of the bottle shows some discoloration inside as seen in a picture. Upon closer examination this dark area is actually the underlying metal where the gold plating has worn off over the years from screwing/unscrewing the bulb attached mechanism. Also the very top edge of the outer lip on this metal top shows some wear acquired over the years and is not quite absolutely perfectly round. You may see thi

A helpful eBay tipster says this bottle is depicted as design J-1 of 5 different designs on page twenty seven of the 1926 DeVilbiss catalog, which it reads"Presenting for the first time, authentic adaptations of famous Reptilian designs, each of which has an interesting Museum history. I'm also advised that bottles of this design do not reappear in the 1927 and later catalogs. This delicate clear glass bottle has a lemon yellow interior reservoir and an applied base of clear over lemon colored glass; it is hand decorated with enamel in an abstract reptilian design in deep chocolate brown and vibrant orange and gilt detailing leading to a starburst pattern on the base. ... moreThe bottom of the base is marked with the name DeVilbiss in script. The brass atomizer top features a decorative pattern on the collar. Which is also impressed with the name DeVilbiss in block letters, but is missing the bulb and cord. GORGEOUS VINTAGE/ ANTIQUE PERFUME BOTTLE Clear glass. Hand decorated. Age and Manufacturer Unknown. Bulb needs replacing. Inner glass pipette has been broken off. But I will include the piece if you want to repair or restore this beautiful bottle. It has been in storage for years and could use a gentle cleaning. I didn't want to touch it, just in case someone would like it in original condition and patina. The last photo is of the underside of the bottle.
