Both need to be polished and interiors cleaned as they have Cloudiness. Moisture residue, build up inside. I did not want to risk doing any damage to these pieces so I left them As-Is. These were my Mom’s from her Sterling Collection. She has had them wrapped and stored for many years. There are no chips or cracks on the Bottles. The Silver Overlay on one is complete and Beautiful. The other one has a part of a flower missing(Picture with the frosty looking outline shows the missing silver) It was hard to get great pictures without glare and reflections and shadows. These are not marks on the Silver or bottle. But like I mentioned. Silver needs to be polished, so there are tarnished marks, Patina? The Top rims are also slightly different. One has a little wider cover lip. The Stoppers are complete. One has a“fracture” Bottom of stem, but it seems to be internal. Both have chipping/fleabites along stem bottoms. The One Stopper with the“fracture” was hand-blown and is hollow. The other Stopper is Solid. Each are similar size but have a little different shape. These two really complement each other. But they are not identical. Would be a lovely Cruet Set for Oil and Vinegar. They are both so lovely just Sitting on Display. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. This is an old antique original Art Deco era breath taking in person beautiful pink crystal signed Czechoslovakia in frosted letters on bottom from a fabulous estate. See closeup. The bottle with stopper is 5 1/2" by 2 3/4" by 1 1/2" The stopper is complete and I see no chips or nicks on the glass to report. The bottle has pink molded glass ornaments in a floral rose pattern and faux pearls. Also has gold filigree ormalou with white enameling. There is some white enamel loss that is non offensive. See closeup. The gold filigree is in vey good condition with nice gold and only thing I see to note is a tomato seed size wear to gold on the back of the bottles neck not worth noting. See closeup. Czech/Bohemian glassware became as prestigious as jewelry and was sought-after by the wealthy and the aristocracy of the time. Czech crystal chandeliers could be found in the palaces of the French king Lois XV. Empress of Austria, and Elizabeth of Russia, and in Milan's La Scala. Bohemian crystal became famous for its excellent cut and engraving. This piece shows off just that in it's deep hand crafted etchings! Antique Henry Tetlow Sweet Sixteen Blue/White Stripe Mini Upright Perfume Bottle
Purchased in a lot from a high-end estate auction I don't know much about this. I believe it to be rare as this exact bottle hasn't been sold online(I've checked archived listings going back 15 years) Only 3 or 4 Tetlow bottles have been sold on Ebay in the last 5 years and none look remotely like this one. There are other lay down striped perfume bottles that look extremely similar. However this one has a base to set it upright and an intact Tetlow label. This looks like a lay down bottle, but it's upright. It measures 3 inches tall. The dropper on the interior is intact. Brass screw on top is stuck and I have not attempted to use much force to try to open it for fear of damage. According to the Perfume Intelligence website(the proclaimed encyclopedia of perfume) this scent was introduced in 1885. Elsewhere I read it was ... more1916 however I believe that is when the patent for the name'Sweet Sixteen' was filed in which he claimed use since 1884. Condition: Excellent. Label completely intact. Glass dropper intact. There are remnants of the perfume on the interior which give it a brownish hue. I have not attempted to clean it in any way. ANTIQUE 3 1/8" PERFUME BOTTLE CUT GLASS MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA
This listing is for a rare item my husband found probably 35 or more years ago and brought it home to me. We are downsizing(at least I am) and I am giving this little beauty a chance for a new home. It is made of cut glass which is clear and it has amber lines in between the clear glass. In between the amber are tiny cuts in the glass. The top of the bottle is made of brass and the top unscrews for filling or using the perfume. There is little to no wear on the brass. It is 3 1/8" in length and it is marked on the brass: Czechoslovakia. The name is in two sections with Czecho and underneath slovakia. The label on the font is a little bit faded but if still looks good. The label on the back is peeling off. it is made of some type of plastic, not like a modern plastic label. Untitled Document Description Beautiful antique glass perfume bottles with tassels. There is one ebony. Kelly green, and two cobalt blue pressed glass bottles in this lot. Each has a gold cap, with a color coordinated tassel threaded through the stem. The black glass bottles cap has some tarnish corrosion on the tip. The green bottles cap has two small patina spots. And the blue rectangular has one small tarnish pit. No nicks. Chips, or cracks on any of the bottles and all tassels are clean, and have no fraying. Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is vintage brass Chatelaine with chain and finger ring. The lid with dauber screws off& on easily. The bottle is empty and the metal dauber is intact. There are no stamps or marks to indicate where it is from or the maker. It is clean inside and out and very shiny. It does show very tiny. Light surface scratches throughout as is normal for age& wear. No deep or damaging scratches are noted. I do see what might be a couple very shallow dents or it could just be the way it is shaped which gives that illusion. The chain and finger ring are intact. There is also a hole through the top of the lid so it may have had something else attached there at one time( Overall it is in excellent condition. With the chain extended it is 4 3/4 inches long/tall ... moreand just the bottle is 2 inches tall. It is 3/8 inch thick and 1 3/8 inches across at the widest part near the bottom. You're biding on a beautiful cut glass and sterling perfume. Spirit bottle! This beautiful cut glass bottle measures 2 inches long. The widest part is the bottom of the bottle which measures approximately 3/4" Please note condition of item: The lid is no longer attached to the bottle because a small securing pin is missing. The lid can rest on top of the bottle. There is some discoloration in areas to the cut glass(perhaps from liquid that was at one time in the bottle) No cleaning attempts have been made to this item.
