It did not come with a stopper. The opening is approximately 5/8" The bottom of the bottle is hollow ground which leads me to believe that the bottle was hand blown. Please see pic's for condition. The Alvin Manufacturing Company was founded in 1886 by William H. Jamouneau in Irvington. New Jersey. The company moved to Sag Harbor, Long Island in 1895 and later changed its name to the Alvin Silver Co. in 1919. The Alvin Silver Manufacturing Company was known for making fine sterling silver. The Gorham company of Providence, Rhode Island acquired the Alvin Company’s dies and patterns in 1928. It measures approximately 3 3/4" with original stopper. There is a monogram. In script, on the cartouche. It is marked" 999/1000 Fine" with the Alvin hallmark and numbers" 3 111" The Sterling overlay on this lovely bottle bears the hallmark of the Alvin Manufacturing Company. Which became Alvin Silver in erlay 1900. The art nouveau silver whips and swirls around the inverted tear-shape of the bottle. Forming flowers and stems. The condition of this bottle is near mint. The only problem is that sometime in the last century the stopper was bumped and has a slight chip and two small crack inside bottle neck(doesn't show when it is on. It sits properly and doesn't take away from the beauty of this bottle) Please note in the photos I show how the bottom of the bottle and the bottom of the stopper have matching etched numbers: 18. Caron Le Narcisse Noir Lalique Two Vintage Antique Glass Perfume Bottles
Two vintage antique perfume bottles. The smaller one has a black glass flower lid and it is a Caron Le Narcisse Noir bottle but I don't know what date. It is signed on both the botttom of the black lid and the bottom of the bottle and it reads what looks like 62 f.111. I don't have a clue what that is or means. The large one has a hand blown lid that is original to the piece. Very nice and are in good to excellent condition. Please look at pictures well and I welcome questions before bidding. Antique Victorian Edwardian Perfume Ornate floral leaf Filigree Scent bottles tray not included in listing click picture to enlarge I pleased to be offering this antique pair of hand made mold blown glass scent/perfume/cologne bottles encased with a silver colored filigree overlay. This set comes with one round or globe shaped bottle and one cylinder shaped bottle. Both hand made. They have 3 visible vertical side seams stopping at the bottom neck of the bottle. The round bottle has a flared lip finish where the cylindrical bottle appears to have an applied lip finish. The round bottle and solid matching stopper have a swirl mold blown pattern which is felt from both the inside and outside of the bottle where the cylinder bottle has a smooth finish. Both bottles appear to have been made with removable base plates, however, they do differ, ... moreand the casing makes it difficult to examine. Both stoppers appear to have an original fit, although I question the stopper for the cylinder shaped bottle due to the metal casing not being an exact pattern match as well as it being the only piece to show wear to the casing. The stopper does fit into the bottle nicely as an original stopper would. Characteristics of glass are indicative of glass made in the ca. 1900 time period or earlier. Both created with an elegant silver colored leaf/vine robust casing. This could be silver plate or pewter(not magnetic) True composition remains unknown. These have been black light tested and glow a very deep fluorescent yellow color. Another sign of ca. 1800-1900 dated glass, with the exception of American Brilliant Period which typically glows Apple Green. Keeping in mind all black lights will result in different colors depending on the black light properties. I have tested many different types of glass. Early American Pressed, American Brilliant Cut, Depression Contemporary or Modern, Czech, and other European, and can now leverage my particular black light to distinguish, along with other glass characteristics, time periods and origins

England Cut Crystal Perfume Bottle& Stopper with Sterling Silver Repousse Lid and Neck Measurements: 4 3/4" Total Height 3 1/4" Diameter 2" Base Diameter 1 3/4" Silver Lid Diameter 1 1/2" Silver Lid Height 5/8" Bottle Opening 1 1/4" Stopper Height 14.4 ounces- Weight Very good antique condition. Perfume scent bottle has four crosshatched pinwheel floral circles with a thumbprint center. The floral pinwheels are surrounded by cut eight and four point stars with the bottom having a cut starburst. The perfume bottle and stopper have no cracks. Glass has some surface use wear marks. There are small pinpoint dings to the edges of some of the cut crystal ridges. One of the central circles of the pinwheel flowers has a less than 1/8" chip on the circle's edge. The top monogrammed ... moresurface of the sterling lid is slightly dented with four pinpoint holes in the silver. Lid snaps shut. Cut crystal stopper has a bit of roughness to its top edge and minor use wear marks on the frosted stopper surface. Bottom of the bottle has a hand etched number 43. Up for bid is a very unique antique atomizer perfume bottle with rose colored glass and matching pump bulb. This bottle has a lot of character and would make a wonderful decoration or addition to any antique enthusiast's collection. The bulb on the bottle is in great condition with no cracks or rotting. The fabric surrounding it does have some separating due to wear over time. The atomizer does appear to still be functional. The top portion of the bottle does unscrew and come apart from the glass portion of the bottle. The perfume bottle stands 6 3/4" in overall length. The base diameter of the bottle measures 2 1/8" The glass portion alone measures 3 1/4" tall. 2 Antique 19thc RARE Daum Cut Glass Gilt Cologne Scent Perfume Vanity Bottles
The photos do not do these bottle justice! RARE 19thc. Daum cut glass cologne scent bottles. They looked like rock crystal. But I believe they are glass. Beautifully cut with patterns at the neck, top mid section with roses and ribbons, and at the base. Gold gilt is painted into the engraving. Both bottoms are in gilt(style of mark dates to 19thc, Daum- the Cross of Lorraine- Nancy. One is slightly taller and thick glass than the other. They measure roughly 10 1/2” including the stopper. Faceted on the neck and body. Photographing these was difficult. They were filled with sugar in order to photograph them without the pattern on the reverse showing through. Condition- Intact. No repairs. Wear to the gilt in the carvings. 1 bottle has a chip on the lip. Both stoppers have cracks in the bases of the stopper. No chips or cracks to the bases. ... moreOverall glass clarity is vg- excellent. there are a few spot in body and at the bottom that I couldn’t clean. My bottle brushes are long enough or thin enough to get in there; in other words. I do not know if the glass is stick in spots. I had a memory than these had an internal crack in the body of 1 of them. I can not find it! You will be purchasing this with the knowledge that there might be a 1/2” internal crack. Rare antique early Baccarat perfume bottle 1890/1900
Rare early Baccarat perfume bottle with paper label on the front depicting a child with a dog. The label around the neck indicates that this bottle originally held `Ess Bouquet' Essence Bouquet) Which was a perfume manufactured by the perfumiers Lubin and created in 1890. A rare survival on this bottle is the paper `Baccarat' label on the base, which is in excellent condition. The stopper may not be original as it is too small for the neck– although it may have been surrounded with cork at one time. However, it is certainly contemporary to the bottle and has the same design as the neck of the bottle. There is a chip on the very top of the bottle, and a small `nibble' on one corner, but this is a very rare example of an early Baccarat perfume bottle with original labels intact. This is an antique perfume bottle made in New York between 1859 to 1928 according to the metal mark on the bottom. The frame is silver overlay. It measures 6" tall by 3" wide at the base. The mark on the bottom is a star with a spider web pattern and a number 315. This mark represents GE Webster company of New York. I did not polish the silver. Because some antique collectors prefer antiques in its original state. Unknown Function Antique Metal and Glass Container or Perfume Holder Vinginete
I am uncertain of the function of this piece- it could be made to hold a narrow pair of glasses. Sewing items; it could be a vinagrette to hold scented fabric for the time when street functioned as sewers. The piece is a glass tube that could also hold a fat cigar for after dinner. The long glass tube is about 4" long, overall about 6" long from tip to tip. The ends open and closes with a metal clasp, it has a folded metal slip holder and a double eyelet holder for a chain to be attatched. The metal is all base metal, there is no corrosion or pitting, the meal is in good condition, no losses no damage. Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for sale is a lovely Pale Green Perfume Bottle. I believe it is a Palais Royal/ Grand Tour perfume bottle. It has a floral ceramic tile on the top of the lid. There are two different scenes of courting couples. One on the front and one on the back but there is beautiful scenic paintings all the way around the bottle. The lid is a bronze or brass metal. The glaze& paintings are in excellent condition ~ only a little roughness around the very bottom edge underneath. No chips. Cracks or repairs noted. The stopper is missing, as is often the case with an item this old. This bottle most likely dates the middle of the 1800's. The lid is very slightly pushed down as you might notice in one of the photos. The hinge works perfectly even though it looks a little ... morecurved. I do see that the hinge pin sticks out just a tad on one end. The lid does snap shut tightly. Be sure to shop bottles of similar style and age so you know just what a treasure this is! Antique Silver Scent Perfume Bottle, Mid-19th C, Exquisite!
This is a beautiful. Mid-19th century, solid silver perfume bottle. It is decorated with bright-cut designs in an overall stripped pattern alternating around the eight sides. This item is 2 1/8 inches tall. The overall condition is excellent, with very light wear noted. There is a tiny dark stain on one side, which can be seen in the photo. There are no other flaws to the body, which was tested and found to be.800 silver or higher. The hinge works well. The inside of the lid is lined with a thin piece of cork. The stopper is ground, unmarked, and without chips or cracks. The hinge is stamped with one hallmark on the top and bottom. It is the same hallmark, and although it is indistinct, it may be the French Poicon for sterling. We do believe this item was made in France but cannot confirm that. It weighs 1.3 ounce.

The Czech/Bohemian glassware became as prestigious as jewelry and was sought-after by the wealthy and the aristocracy of the time.
